How are the monstercropped cuttings coming along?
Grow on!
:tiphat:
Doing well Alex. They started throwing out flowers a couple of days ago, just trying to decide when stretch is officially over, and I can do a massive defoliation...

Bonus...info for your WoT addiction......Hetzer TD

The Hetzer is a very different tank from its predecessor, the Marder II. Initially, its poor speed and restricted arc of fire seem to be a downgrade from the long-range firepower of the Marder: a point that provokes a lot of mixed opinions from players. It takes some time, and a few upgrades, to unlock some of the Hetzer's true potential and allow its excellent sloped armor, low profile, and powerful guns to come to the fore. The Hetzer is an excellent ambush tank and a decent sniper, while being able to sustain a surprising amount of damage: provided you can keep the enemy within your frontal arc. This sets the tone for much of the German Tank Destroyer tree, and many of the lessons learned in the Hetzer will prove useful in its successor, the StuG III. Most of all, it is important to remember: "Hetzer's gonna Hetz".

Photo Update!

Photo Update!

Alright, here are a few photos over the last few days.
First up is a shot of the Goosh a couple of days ago. The flowers are developing pretty fast, and I will need to defoliate very soon. They have been chowing down on the nutes dropping about 100ppm per day even with RO top-off, and just adjusted them tonight.

This one is for you Mega! This poor Alaskan Ice cutting was taken after about a week of flushing in Mega's room, there literally was no green at all in the plant, and I had to trim some popcorn buds off of it before putting it in the cloner. 10 days or so later, some green is coming back, and we have our first couple of roots starting to develop. Next time, at least take some insurance cuttings for strains you are still experimenting with Mega...

Next up are 3 Blue Dream cuttings that were taken about 12 days ago, and survived a 3 day power outage... The last one was quite a surprise when I looked at it today! So of the 30 cuttings I took in the last 2 weeks, I only lost one HK#1 that never looked right. Sometimes, clones will surprise the fuck out of you with their resiliency...

And lastly, I have my first sign of some sort of deficiency, or just plain retardation... My plants have never shown any tip burn, or excessive lightness. This leaf is a total fluke and I have no idea what the coloration means as far as what it was lacking...
picture.php

I will be posting more photos when I decide to do the defoliation, I am leaning towards friday at this point. Anyone have any feedback on what time of the day I should do the defoliation? During lights out, right before lights come on, etc...
One thing I have come to realize recently is, that keeping my mothers in hydro is not such a great idea (unless I need hundreds of cuttings...). My ECSD mother is out of control! I took the 12 biggest cuttings off of it 2 weeks ago, and it's like it never happened. I know I should have been root pruning, and as a result of a lack of pruning she has been almost drinking her 4g of water dry in a few days...
I am going to be flowering out my hydro moms in the next couple of weeks, and will be keeping the traditional bonzai mums in coco or some medium other than soil...

That leaf is just a mutation, it's perfectly healthy. Good job. The garden looks great. Do you have screens for all of those plants?

I still am amazed that cut you took is still alive...I never expected that AI to turn out to be soooo good, sinc ei think it's genetics originally came from GHS, which in my past experience, is shit genetics.

Thanks for confirming my suspicion that it was a mutation...
I will not be putting up screens for these plants, as they are pretty much done stretching, and I have them tied down pretty good. I will be adjusting my bondage once I defoliate, but they will not get tall enough to utilize the screens. I did pick up the materials for the next 6 buskets, which will all get screens. My next round will be 2 ECSD, 2 USD, and 2 Chocolope, which all should stretch enough to pull them to the 8' ceilings...

Buskets? " a mixture of muskets and buckets" for growers who need really lousy home protection and growing containers.

a "busket" is a 5gal bucket filled with hydroton, with a black powder charge at the bottom. The buskets are rigged to a trigger... Different growers attach their buskets to different triggers. IME most will go with a trip wire, so that in the event there is an intruder in the grow, and they step on the wire, they will be blown to bits.

Hahaha! You guys are fucking hilarious! It was originally a typo, but I left it in since a busket was in a movie that I particularly liked. It is actually a window washing bucket that the trolls use to wash your windows whether you want them to or not... I like Bobble's version better though...

Christmas came early for me this week... Due to an unexpected windfall from the IRS, I picked up all the equipment I need for my second donut!
I will be kid free this weekend, and should have my next 6 plants in flower by Sunday. I will be flowering out 2 ECSD, 2 USD, and 2 Chocolope. I did not want to multi-crop, but 2 of the three have the same flowering time and nute requirement, my only concern is the USD. Hey Bobble, what is the expected flower time? I could get creative and isolate the USD at the end of flower, but if I could get it to go 10 weeks, that would be perfect...
I also plan on defoliating the Goosh this weekend, so I will be a busy farmer, better than pounding fucking nails...

Awesome, thanks Bobble! For some reason I thought the USD was a shorter strain, but it looks like the same flower period as my ECSD. Does it also share the same nute requirement like nitrogen up to about halfway through flower? It would make sense...

I would say they're comparable. IMO the ECSD stretches more. I haven't grown them enough side by side to say for certain. I'm flowering ECSD for the first time. I feed everything the same anyway, so I'm just going on color. USD is darker than ECSD.
