so I'm living in NY, and I'm broke, maybe 3 or 4 bucks in my pocket & I'm headed to the bar where I can run a tab but will need to pay for my pinball & video games with what little cash I had. Before leaving my place I spotted a quarter wedged in between 2 cushions on my couch, I knew that if I reached for it that my fingers would spread the cushions allowing it to fall further down.

I decided that a swift grab would result in one more turn @ Ms Pac-Man that night, so with my best move I shot my hand into those cushions, grabbed hard and came out with a twenty dollar bill, I forget what happened to that quarter.......

when I was 17, eating dinner at a restaurant with my dad, step mom, and step brother, we had a window seat. saw a lady walking to her car and her bank envelope was open and sticking out her purse, was also windy that day. her entire bank envelope opened up and 20's were blowing everywhere. she got in her car and left. I jumped out the seat and ran outside and began grabbing every last 20. my step brother followed soon after. I managed to get about 300 in 20's, his dumb ass only got 40 bucks. we gave the restaurant mgr our phone number in case she came back. we never heard back from anyone. some other bills we couldn't get to in time. they blew under cars for others to find.

trying on a coat, I found 20.00.

found 2x dime bags of ghetto brick walking inside a speedway. lol threw it away.

found 40.00 in a best buy. went and bought a ps3 game.

I find money all the time. never lost my wallet or money ever in my life. im too cheap to lose money. lol knock on wood.

BUT I never win when playing the lottery, or gambling. so I don't gamble. ever.

found money??? :dunno: idk.......

One night I was @ Ron's place shooting pool, I'd brought 1/2 a roll ($5) of quarters with me as the table he had in his shop was 25 cents per game, I had no other money otherwise.

Suddenly a friend of Ron's from the twin cities shows up in a motor coach and wants to go to the casino, I lived very close to the casino (I never went there) so I declined a ride to the joint in the coach. I told Ron & Bob that I'd stay long enough to have a beer then leave, it was about a 10 mile ride and so I beat them there in my car, plus they'd have to park in the RV lot and walk a ways.

I walked in probably 5 minutes ahead of them, and went to the machine closest to me right @ the front door, it was a 5 coin max play so $1.25 bought all the pay lines from the reels. First tug of the handle and BAM!!! I hit that sucker for $500!!! Bells and buzzers going off there was a slot attendant there paying me off when Ron & Bob walked in :)

So as promised, I stayed long enough to have a beer (I even bought them 2 beers too) and left with my jackpot in hand, those guys couldn't believe that I'd split w/out feeding more $$$ into the slots, fools.

dude in Texas bought this dresser for $100 in an estate sale.

when they tipped it to load it in his car they heard hard metal banging around and discovered a hidden drawer.

hidden inside were many items, some dating back to the Civil War, gold, diamonds, emeralds, coins, jewelry, etcetera.

the new owner Emil Knodell a former US Marine insisted on tracking down and returning the bounty to its rightful owner, the son of the old man who'd died.
"I bought the chest drawers. I didn’t buy those things. If I kept them, I would never feel right about it. There would be a cloud over the whole thing. It’s a feeling more than anything else," Knodell said........

well played Emil, well played.

I found $800 on a train seat once, and then a year or two later I lost $1200 myself.
And then the next year I was walking down the street and found $50, and then walked a few more paces and found another $50, and then walked a few more paces and found another one.

Found a $50 last year and the year before, so guess I broke even.

Haven't found much this year, maybe the odd coin; was walking down the street the other day and saw a dollar coin so went to pick it up but it was superglued to the pavement. Ha Ha.
