Liking the look of that Sauerkraut GS, i had some chilli & dill not to long a go.. Its actually becoming a bit of a staple diet of mine. Its rater expensive for a jar from the local health store, 5.50 euro which is equivalent to a jam jar in size.
Considering the price of a cabbage is not much more than 1 euro, i just might start making my own, i have looked in to several methods of the prep side of it.. The last time i tried making it, was very off-putting as a layer of scum had developed on the top of it so i chucked it out "now i know i should of just removed the scum layer and made sure it was always below the liquid level" i felt very foolish for throwing it out. I will try making it again for sure.
