So true, Orlando is one of the un safest cities to live in and traffic is a mofo. I moved to Cocoa on April 1st and kick myself for not leaving Orlando sooner. Its much quieter here and much less traffic. I'm renting a 3 br, 2 full bath 1500sq foot house on a 1/4 acre lot for $800. The down side is their arent alot of jobs close by, gotta do some driving to get work and with the price of gas being what it is...Blaner123Doobie said:TGT
Unless you love traffic jams and congestion, and a high crime rate I would stay out of Orlando. Go over to the Space Coast, nice area, good prices. Try Cape Canaveral, Titusville, Rockledge and Merritt Island are some nice areas along the Space Coast and are an hour or less from Orlando attractions. like Disney, SeaWorld, etc.

Just make sure the place you order from ships in discreet boxes, Worms way does not, they sent a 2x2 botanicare ebb and flow tub in its original box (morons). But cheap hydroponics or high tech lighting are smart and ship in discreet boxes and a return address of either CH or HTG as the only company name
Yeah I've lived in the area most my life. There's hella traffic and congestion and yeah the crime rate skyrocketed in recent years, but it's still not as bad as some bigger cities and housing prices are cheap compare to other regions of the US (however local salaries can't sustain the median housing price, hence Orlando being #1 in the nation on the # of vacant homes list).evlme2 said:So true, Orlando is one of the un safest cities to live in and traffic is a mofo. Orlando does have some nice areas but over all, its not a nice city to live in anymore.
For those who know the orlando area, i used to live off Lee rd, between I-4 and OBT.
But no matter where in Florida you move, the laws are all the same when it comes to what we do, and they dont fuck around.
Theirs a chain of hydro stores in Orlando, they have 3 stores, its only 45 min drive from me and i've never seen cops staking out those places. Fuck em if they did 'cause i keep 2 attorneys on retainer. I had a real bad run in with LEO 3 years ago and it almost sent me away for life so be carefull folks, Florida does not fuck around. I cant stress it enough. Florida jails/prisons are no Disney land. Be safe,
evlme2 said:doja420, yep, sunshine hydroponics is where i go. Theirs 3 locations now, south OBT, 436 (almost at the 1792/436 intersection) and on Forsyth.
They sell ff products as well as other well know nutes/mediums/sytems/lights. I pretty much buy all my important stuff there (ballasts, coco, gh nutes).
I wouldnt worry to much about leo, its not illegal (yet)to buy hydro equipment and shopping there is not even close to probable cause. But as always, use caution wherever you shop for goodies for your secret garden, even if its at Walmart.

It was neccessary because I had to go there with a van and spend $5500. I've found they routinley survale that area. I believe that they have recieved cooperation from someone that owns a house across the street from the shopping center the hydro store is in. Please use extreme caution if purchasing supplies from this store....

Yeah that's true, I'll probably just try going to that one in casselberry.dj digigrow said:doja420 what's up...
if you want you can go the the sunshine on 436 and I'm sure you can shake any LE, by the time you get back to orlando.
btw I used to stay in lake Mary and had people in pine hills by the orange bowl..
