depends on who you know in Miami....Alot of the grow op's in kendall are owned by the same guy...But I agree for the most part...not many strains to choose from and it's almost always never grown to maturity...glad I left

Its kind of hard to meet people in this hobby, I'm just glad I can come and talk to people with the same interest. But one day I will have the Kush! One Day I Say!
I'm thinking about starting a little victory garden here soon. I think because of my space requirements, growing in a barrel seems like the way for me to go. I saw some person on another forum using this technique to make like 4+ oz of high-quality meds. Anyways, he/she used a 250w light and I was thinking about using two 150w lights in a cooltube-like setup. Basically, this whole deal would be surrounded by a scrog screen and that into a 55 gal barrel or drum for a tubular v-scrog. I'm gonna use a vortex 6" fan to cool it all. Any suggestions or ideas?

This thread is funny I used to live in Florida...West Palm Beach... I live in San Diego now and I never looked back.
I feel for you guys I never quite got used to the idea of living in a swamp. Nor did I get used to all the rednecks. the black and white thing there is also pretty freaking crazy. Krip was never all it was cracked out to be....Some good bud from time to time but there was not alot of love in the bud. It was mostly commersh and chemi. Went back recently and had some deliscious Mango, that was a treat.
Sorry I have some bad memories in Florida maybe they are tainting my judgement.....

First-time grower in Pinellas County growing on state land. Just experimenting with some bag seed. Have three girls that are about 4ft high and 3ft wide although one is really stretched. Their not growing in the best of conditions. Soil is rather sandy and tall trees block the direct light later in the day. Second week of flowering and many bud sites are apparent. Been using Fox Farms nutes and just switched to Tiger Bloom with some Open Sesame for added "P". Hoping for maybe 3-4 ounces. Again, just an experiment to see what I need to do differently next grow season. Glad to be at ICMag.
