Your grow looks a lot like mine Beaner. I have two small plants as well. Except I'm just using 4 x 42W CFL with LST.

I'm growing a cross I made from BOG Lifesaver and AFR Durban Poison. Just started to turn purple surprisingly; since my temps are ~75-80F. Only a few weeks away from harvest. One will be done within 2 weeks and I'm not sure about the other. If only I had a digi cam.

I'd like to know what your yield ends up being for comparison. Good luck man!

I wish you had a digicam too sounds nice :)

I am growing bagseed so it has been a challenge trying to keep the plants (with what seems to be very different needs) happy.

My lighting has changed a few times during the grow (due to heat), right now its 3x 26w cfl 1x 15w cfl, and a 50w hps... I can really tell how much potential I am losing though because of the lack of light, next go around a 150w hps with reflector is in order I think (as long as I can keep it cool)

Im not sure if I will throw them on a scale but I will have pics once harvest time comes (at day 50 flower now)

Dragon, you don't have any digicam at all? Not even one on your cell phone or camcorder? The pics of my current grow were taken by a cell phone cam. I took the other pics with my Sony camcorder.

Beaner, you lucked out with your bagseed. Very often seeded mj comes from Mexico where they do the entire grow outdoors and use strains that aren't suited at all to indoor cultivation. They tend to grow very long and lanky with small buds instead of short and bushy with fat colas. I had one that stubbornly refused to clone. Since they grow outdoors, they wouldn't even know if the strain cloned well or not, so they obviously don't breed for ease of cloning. Otoh, bagseed often is great for growing outdoors in a warm climate like Florida.

Homestead Marijuana Lab Bust

HOMESTEAD, Fla. -- police said they discovered the lab Tuesday afternoon, which brings their total number of grow houses busted to 50 in South Florida alone.

Man they busted 2 houses this week already here in town. I mean it's like every other week and shit. And has been it seems for the last few years i'm not bullshittin either.
And they get popped for the dumbest shit, come on! Dont bring the heat to this neighborhood damb.
Here I am trying to keep a low profile while you have all the illegal aliens bringing the heat and clogging up the emergency rooms, bastards

I happen to be raising Brainstorm from DPF and Kali-Most from MOD this season. I'm hoping for the best we'll see. My main concern from previous ops is security and pests.

Tropical:The bud I got it from was pretty good and for not having any sort of known genetics I can't complain about these buds:

Gr8StonedDragon: Nice! Its a shame about the males but it sounds like you have a bit of a seed bank to work with until you got females, smart move!

hello to all my fellow floridians

and a special hello to all my 305/786 residents

new to this site

but not new to the grow

just wanted to stop by and say hi

currently im doing mango(love that smell) and a bag that i call sprite as it has a lemon/lime flavor/smell to it

the mango is very easy to disguise as everyone has mango trees around here

so the smell doesnt even have to be masked

only thing im looking at now is finding some ducksfoot for some stealth outdoor runs

if anyone needs a line on buckets i recently found a stockpile of free ones

there were approximately 3-4 million buckets <~~not an exxageration

they were left behind after a nursery shutdown

seriously i havnt seen many small timers getting popped

mostly its been like 20 house rings and the like with too many people to keep them all quiet

remember by telling one person your chances of getting fukked has risen like 50%

with 20 houses and sometimes 2-3 people running each house

do the math on that your chances of getting pinched has increased like 40000000%

Florida is not the state to be caught fuckin' with the erb, folks! No joke here with the draconian laws. This state is the freakin war zone! So keep em short, bushy, and stealthy!

Whats with all grow house busts in port st lucie the past year or two? I swear every week they are busting a house with ~600+ plants in it. Is it linked to some mexican drug cartel? They say its always illegal immigrants taking care of the plants/house but they cant find how the people would have started it, because its all been wired and setup by "experts".

Ayden, welcome to IC Mag. Bagseeds should get you some fine herb when grown, dried, and cured properly. Are you growing outdoors in Florida? They usually come from places where they grow outdoors in a warm climate.

syztem, I noticed a lot of busts up there too. I didn't know that they might be all related.

how about miami? no busts going on there? alot of the haze i see around my way is from there. I was accually supposed to head down there to talk to couple friends of friends u know.....

Of course there are busts in Miami sometimes. It's a city of 2 million people. There are bound be be lots of grow houses here. I've seen more busts in the tiny county of Port St. Lucie than Miami. The last one I saw here was in a large old warehouse and was discovered when it caught fire and the fire crews went in to put it out.

yeah in florida summer a sealed room with a dedicated a/c is the way to go.
not only because of humidity and temps but our lil island is a bug breeding ground as well. the little bastages WILL hunt down any unsecured grow and set up a buffet.
also the res temps in your hydro setup will need to be controled.

hope this helps

i respectfully disagree you can grow little plants inside in florida and illinois both if your not concerned about size. florida in the summer doesnt get much better probably. you just have to keep on them as far as pests, critters and such. yes it's a lot of hard work to grow them outside because of bugs, hogs, deer and shit, but hard work pays off. and size does matter if you want a bigger yield.
