Better safe than sorry boo. If I ever had to clean my place up, lord knows what I'd find. Just last week I lost a nice marble size ball of hash. Poof, vanished:confused:

Hows it going gang! Think I have the mite issue under control, seemed to really be bad on only a couple plants....so my gut tells me this was caught at the right time.

What I've done -

Day 1 - sprayed/soaked everything that is rooted with "Don't Bug Me" a Fox Farm bug spray I had on hand from fungus gnats last year. It is a Pyrethrum based product.

Day 2 - Sprayed/soaked everything rooted with "Fungicide 3" from Garden Safe. This is a neem oil based spray.

Both of those days, I made sure to dry out all plants after spraying under a ceiling fan before placing back under lights to avoid burning.

Day 3 - Added a No Pest Strip as advised by you great folks here :joint:

Thats it so far. Place the worst infected veggers outside to finish up with natural preds.

All the clones I have that aren't rooted are quarantined until rooted and then will be sprayed/inspected.

Trying to think of this more as a maximum control situation that eventually will lead to a mite free existence :wallbash:

As for the cloning SNS or anyone else, I truly don't think I do it differently than you....I just don't use a dome, and I don't "baby" them. My reasoning is I want only strong girls.

I use scissors to cut the clones off the plants. Then into cold water, blade them at 45*, score up a bit of the cut, dip into gel or powder, whatever is on hand. THen right into jiffy plugs, or straight coco (this is new to me and just a way to hopefully save a step in transplanting.)

Then water the plugs heavy each day the first 5 days, then begin letting them dry out a bit more each day until roots pop. No misting or domes.

As soon as roots pop it's onto full strength (6/9) coco lucas.

Oh, and get the freakin green cups from Publix...Evl has proven their superiority over all other colors :)

ANyhow, thats my story and I'm sticking to it!

Peace - ogh

Cloning has a lot to do with genetics. I took cuts from two different mothers on the same day. Look how much faster one mother's cuts rooted compared to the other:

I also have been using No Pest Strips for many years. This is a photo of my closet that I took back in 2003 or earlier (notice the bottom of a NPS in the back):
