Hmmmmm,smoked mullet.....YUCK...

It's been decades since I smoked a mullet, but back in the day of no money and a cast net there was no better way to quickly catch a buttload of fish from land than that combination. But that was also when you could walk a mile of seawall and nobody screamed at you to get out of their yard, cause there wasn't a fucking house every 100 feet.

Every spring and fall I dream of catching smoker Kings (and occasionally I do), but I'm always happy with snakes as they have no measurable mercury content at that young age and they make awesome smoked fish spread.

look at all that beautiful compost fodder... this is how I be getting down harvesting that stuff... I have a barge I built out of four plastic 55 Gallon drums, two pieces of 3/4 inch ply wood, and 2x4's for a frame. I get out in the middle of the pond with a rake and pitch fork and hunch. it's a PITA. keeps the pond clean.

Most aquatic plants compost quite well and since they generally derive their nutrition by removing nitrates from the water source they provide N as they break down.

If somebody ever figures out how to make biofuel (or anything else useful) from duckweed, they will be wealthy beyond their wildest dreams. You can't eradicate it, you can't over harvest it and in ideal conditions it's growth rate and biomass is just unbelievable.

So - checked the pond I'm living on and theres a ton of that duck-weed out there and a ton of lilly pads. Got the damn gators out there too, so i'm not too sure i want to harvest the weeds for compost, but I may.

Anywho, how long before the compost breaks down enough to use it - and are you guys adding any sort of bacteria to the pile to help increase the rate of breakdown?

Keep in mind that there is nothing magical about commercial compost units; they are simply holding units and will not produce compost any faster or better than a simple pile. The most important feature is that the pile or unit be a minimum of 3' x 3' x 3' (figure 2).

Looking good Coop...

Thanks RR!! I haven't had much time to spend w my ladies....... But their coming on strong fosho!! Lots of Limey green new growth.... I'm getting more n more hyped about the good things coming.... Just got my tanks filled..., hoping to see some explosive growth here shortly.... One thing I noticed tho is its been hard doin 5 different strains on one table.... The ones I've chosen are all heavy eaters, but rooted slower than others..... Some will b almost 2 foot when the smaller ones w just b a foot.... I'm putting the net up tonight..... Might put a larger ac unit in to make up for the extra lights upon flipping to second stage(bloom)...... This blockhead bx I'm testing has got me foaming at the mouth. I'll keep posting some pics!!! B safe out there!! Keep up the good work RR!! Always love seeing your work!!!

I tried 2 different strains on the same table 1 time. Unfortunately I had 2 totally opposite Phenos. 1 locked out nutes above 5.5ph the other locked them out below 5.8. Needless to say 1 of them did terrible. At least you are just having height issues.

You could put the shorter ones in the center and taller ones around the outside. Or just supercrop the taller ones.

I'm really looking forward to next round when I flower the Amnesia x TT crosses. 2 of those are looking really good and already topped 2x. Should be able to get a couple clones from them as well. Both of the WFA#6 x TT are doing better as well. Will get updated pics soon. My current grow is at 22 days so hope I can get enough clones by the time these finish.

Here's the promised update on the WFA#6 x TT and Amnesia x TT

WFA#6 x TT #1 after first topping.

WFA#6 x TT #2

Amnesia x TT #1 & #2 after taking clones also the re-veg after taking 6 clones from it

Amnesia x TT #3 seems to be a different pheno from 1&2 slower growing and shorter

Amnesia x TT #4 Really strange first true leaves on this one. Newer leaves looking normal growing much like #3
