as soon a these r up & in cups i may start 6 SDf4s an 6 of some thing else probley twitter glue.
i cant house more than 24 seedlings or clones in cups on my shelf.

How do you FL people balance using AC to keep room temps to around 77 or so and air exchange rates recommended at once or twice every 5 minutes. I know one answer is go sealed room then it gets complicated and expensive to add CO2. I was just thinking if the air exchange could be reduced to like once an hour then the AC could keep up but with air exchanged every 2 minutes it does not seem like a window shaker 10K btu could work for a room 10' x 10' x 9'. Or is the answer all people in the south have sealed rooms and ad CO2?

Nomad you could use a 4 inch vortex fan to ventilate a room that size. The 10k ac idk. I used a 15k before on a room that size with 4 600 w aircooled lights and it had no problem. Sealed is the way to go if you can. Co2 is way cheaper than wasting ac. Ive never done co2 with a window unit so idk if itd work without wasting co2 but mini splits are perfect for sealed rooms.

I agree with P-NUT sealed is the only way. A tank of CO2 and controller is fairly cheap. I use a cheap A/C powered regulator and a Titan Controls Atlas 7 controller. The controller is well worth the investment. I have attached links to some ebay sales for the items to give you an idea. CO2 refill is $27 at my local welding supply and if you tell them it's for your kegerator they will usually give you an aluminum tank. I only run CO2 in flower and 1 tank lasts for a full grow in a similar sized room. Just don't keep going in and out.

As for the window shaker it will work fine in sealed room and 10k should be fine for your room size.
