Dawn, those CREE cobs should do you good with temp concerns. If you don't run them at full power they don't produce much heat. I'm running 4 cobs of the 3590's size in a little bit smaller area. Are you mounting them each to their own heatsink? Or are you going the panel route with multiple per heatsink? 4 might be on the low side for that space but you can always add more as you go along.

Your plan dimensions look good, I have my lights within 8" or so from top of canopy so 5' tall cab should be plenty if you train the plants. What are you thinking about grow style wise, SOG, SCROG, bushes, etc?

That's what interested me in them to begin with, little heat and the ability to play with the spectrum. I started with 3590's and burned them up so I went back to what I know worked. they are each mounted on a CPU heatsink/fan. Check out SupraSPL sometime, he's the dude that got me started.

Exactly my plan, that's why I was interested in plant density and heights under these kinds of lights. I'm sure they don't have the penetration of HID but there has to be a sweet spot

Cab size was more about giving the A/C enough room to efficiently do it's thing, then if conditions dictate, adding more light. SOG and SCROG are attractive but I'd also like to keep plant count down so I haven't figured that out yet.

One still workin like a champ and one all burnt to hell and back - price of pushing the envelope and the reason I went back to 3070's.

An impressive build for certain, main thing I don't like is that he didn't remotely locate the drivers but in his case it may not really matter.
