gh0st9, my attempt at a trellis failed miserably last time. Looked great for about a week...

...then after this pic was taken they stretched for another 9 weeks straight, right to the top of the tent and then some. it was so painful. I have pics. I think you guys have seen them though.



flboy, when you got the breeder's pack were you able to specify which generation? I saw that they list four. the killer malawi, her daughter, a purple pheno and fruity pheno crossed with 3rd gen males. I wonder if a 10 pack would be a mixed bag? the packs at Herbies say killer malawi x 3rd gen males. I'm not interested in the fruity or purple phenos. the old killer malawi is what I want. one more Q. do they stink? I mean, you have them od, can you smell them for miles or feet or inches?

coba the smell not bad at all maybe a few feet away you can pick it up. i ordered the fem pack and they come individually packs 6 per pack. the reg seeds will be the same but 10 per pack. i should have ordered the reg packs as i have found that with the sativa's from ace (tropical) have a high female rate. i have cracked the bangi,purple haze x malawi reg. and ended up with 3 outta 4 females of each in a 2 gallon bucket. so if it is a male your after picking might be slim unless you use a small pot to restrict roots.

what strain is that that stretch for that long.

coba i forgot to say i only buy direct from ace so my comments are strictly from my dealing with them. if you do order the breeders pack you have a good deal of freebies to choose from. if you go on there web site and click on galleries look at new works and you will see panama goddess x malawi and angola x panama (fem) and if you like them you can ask for them as freebies in the comments box like i did and i received them as they are not listed.

Just to clarify....i only need a couple just to throw in the rainy-day fund. Spread em out to someone who will get to them sometime soon.

As soon as i need to rotate stuff again i was planning on starting GO's Kings Kush.

thanks flboy fro that description man Sounds like exactly what I want and what I was hoping it would be... an extremely powerful sativa high from some not-so-loud-the-next-county-can-smell genetics. Males aren't that important to me right now. I've got my back yard wanna-breeder hack job that I'm still working on keeping me busy looking.

Speaking of my pollen chucking, those stretchy plants were from a cut I found in the first in-cross of Karma's SSSDH X Jack Herer she was one out of about 70 beans. the buds are nice. greasy af, low tolerance build up, low odor right up until the last two weeks, no male flowers what so ever... but the plant grows like cray. she is no longer with me but I have one of her daughters, who has a (VR x NL5/Haze) x (SSSDH x Jack ixi) Dad, who was one of about 50 beans. He smelled like fresh berries when real young, had picture perfect satellites for side branches and nice flower development. That was one of her top colas, 4 weeks deep, in the last picture I posted of frost. She has great tric coverage, a lot less stretch than her mom and she smells of both parents. Like a earth berry turpentine funk. The first batch of buds weren't as potent as mom's though, when I smoked 'em people asked me why I smelled like berries. True Story.

So, now I'm looking through the second in-cross of SSSDH X Jack. I've found one that reeks of fruit, maybe mango.

my cab looks like shit rn, I just replaced the back panel to put a better PC fan in the top for exhaust and I haven't gotten around to painting yet. I'm surprised at how much light that brown panel sucks up... I've had to add two more cfls to it just to keep the legs on these puppies under control. of the three on the far right the one in the middle is the fruity booty, it's got a nice frame so far too. Check out the leaves on the older seedlings... I've been twerking the shit out of them looking for scents... I figure since I have a lot of these beans, I'm looking for the natural born rock stars you know, no hay phenos.

this project has grown a whole heap of respect in me for guys like GrownOut, Relentless, dank.Frank... who do this and can actually put out something that is fire. It's a whole lot of work for little return... I mean several rounds of a whole tent worth of lights and soil and tending to just to have the junk hermie out, reach for the stars and not turn back, or smell like fresh cut grass. Or, when I do find something worthy... it's another round in the tent and the place looks like a yellow powder bomb exploded all over. I mean pollen sticks to everything. meanwhile, I'm lucky just to get enough buds to smoke on in the median.

Whaa-whaa cry me the hack yard pollen chucker blues... said no one ever.

to you guys pumping out those killer genes and making it look so easy:tiphat::respect:

New to the scene and came here for some Help,.i have 2 Chem valley kush ladies at 54 days,.they look like they are possibly dying one smells really Dank on the rotten side and the other smells rather normal.
My situation is a bit different. They were originally 3 in Cocoa left to die on my porch because they failed to thrive. After being left In The sun for 5 days they were yellow I took them out of dirt and put them in a dwc setup I made..one died and her roots were left inside,.
Ive used voodoo juice and sensizyme to help rid her of the tangled dead roots, thye acted like they got too much nitro one day and clawed everywhere I flushed then she was deficient,then she leveled off they are tall and lanky with seemingly hollow stems almost turning to paper.
It's hard to tell of my tricombs since I have cat hair on my buds, the ones that are not damaged are cloudy but I have 0 Amber..and the yellowing of the leaves, there is nothing left to yellow but buds
Should I harvest is she obviously dying is it too late???
Anyone????

any pic? if all leaf r yellow me ide pull it, sounds like u had a nuterance lockout early in.

coba i have a trick on how to get those tall stretchers (sativa) to produce for you if interested in the small space. the cross you have is very interesting to me. i love things most people don't have (home made). i have the old killer malawi in fem version i think i have 4 beans left. are you going to keep posting on that cross you have i would like to see how she does

man, wifey cold threw it on ole buckets last night,love that girl....(just.had.to put that out there..lol) :biggrin:

im gonna throw up some pics of those cuts,once i noticed the thrip thing i sort of felt like a dip shit,and just wanted to stick my head in the sand or under a rock..,but a few cool heads told me its not the end of the world and COULD OF BEEN a whole lot worse,...SOOOO im coming out from under the rock swingin for da fences,ya heard.. :dance013:

and i hear ya coba on breeders,and makein FIRE crosses,DEFINITELY alot of time and devotion and hard work,much much respect, someone that i got some beans from was actually mentioning that to me, and i was like dude"i have not a clue and or knowledge"in that section,(just hopeing to find.some.killer ladies,and have it be true fire)fingers crossed,i know thats alot to ask,but thats why we pop em i reckon...big Ups to you for crossing into that river,sounds like ya got ya hands full..

well.hope everyone is doing well and staying under the radar,guess santas on his way into town,all ive heard ..from recently turned 3year old, gonna be one happy and crazy xmas morning...take care you guys :tiphat:
