Lookin pretty good Ghost, did you get a new camera? I'd increase the shutter speed with the flash and perhaps manually focus, or is this just a camera phone?

Nah not a new camera. Just figuring how to take pics off my phone without the potato level quality. Haven't had a dedicated cam since I broke my last round 2013. The lens was all smudged up from getting jammed into the buds anyways lol

Bicycles are so uncomfortable. I wish they weren't, as they are so practical in places like Portland. Stayed in an AirBnB one time there that came with Bikes and it sucked. My handlebars fell off with no tools to repair far from town and couldn't get any uber. Took off my shirt to tie them back on and rode 5 miles home in traffic and hills lol. Not for me thanks!

Now if your plan is to turn that into a sweet custom light setup for your grow, I'm all about it, I'll bring the angle grinder.

Well this is some bullshit right here.....

Don't want to clog the thread with this discussion but if anybody is growing in a cabinet with integrated A/C please PM me. Not a cab in an air conditioned room, a cab in ambient conditions with A/C integrated into the cabinet.

Posted here cause nobody outside the state really understands the heat and humidity we deal with.....

If you haven't tried it yet... Use coconut oil instead of butter. It infuses better than butter, is better for you and can be used as 1 to 1 replacement in any recipe calling for butter or oil. I prefer processed as I do not like the taste of coconut.

i think ill try the MTC / Coconut oil next time instead of butter. i like the taste of coconut but it can get to be too much very quickly so the processed oil it will be.

and when i get some moonshine from my cousins in Tn ill try using it to do a quick extraction.

Has anyone ran cages and trellis? I've got a huge roll of hortinova trellis left (about another few 100') but I'm starting to look towards a system implanting cages since you can easily move them and get around... I already use stakes for vegging but they are supplemental at best, rather not try to dump hundreds of stakes in my room... I hate having to duck under trellising to deleaf or fix irrigation lines.... Cages vs net?

That's where I started, I just thought that by this time somebody had figured out a more elegant/integrated way to do this. My other issue is smell and I just don't see how a wall shaker isn't going to leak odor like crazy if it's not running all the time. I guess I'll get the cheapest one I can find and caulk and great stuff the hell out of it.

I initially had visions of a multi chamber box cooled with one A/C unit but I think that's more than I want to try to engineer at this point.

If you build a seal chamber for the unit inside the room ,pull filtered air from another room a tad stronger. The air being pulled out the room into attic or crawl space wont have to worry about smell. The air coming in the chamber has to be a bit stronger to not suck air from the room. Its impossible to seal the unit completely cause you will get leaks where the fan spin. So if the air is a tad stronger coming in then out it wont suck the grow room air out in to the attic or crawl space. A bit confusing lol. If you nee finer detail just PM.

i have very little experience w/both but i can say i dont like the trellising as much as a cage thats more sturdy. i guess it depends on the style of grow also.

Bobby Stainless is using tomato cages in his current thread

I started having to use bamboo poles, as the branches were starting to fall over, in the best way possible :) Those little clips they sell at the hydro shop are great for like $0.10 each. Thinking about using tomato cages next time, prob better for bushy plants very lanky ones like the GSC?
