im too lazy to hand water coco multiple times a day and im wanting to get back to an organic soil grow and using promix hp is my first step. i felt i had better plants, better taste before i changed to coco and if i need to produce more meds ill add a light.

eventually ill have a worm bed for fresh castings and a good compost pile and brew AACT as well as companion grow clover and such at the base of my plants and maybe it will be in a greenhouse.

hugh def got it right, imo in soiless applications coco crushes promix no doubt.. But far as ease of mind when hand waterin, promix is a breeze, almost requires no brain functions, especially after being ammended.. Bring it Cheeba- Come get you some! lol

Slugs, shitty seasons the past 5 years in my area, and people the 3 reasons I went indoor... You guys are much baver than me for being able to take a loss and keep it rollin like its nothin.. I had very few plants go bad on me until the last one, I took losses left and right to rippers and cops... out of 250 plants 15 plots... All but 1 plot being left.. And it wasn't even very good lol

ill try cloning directly in it next week so i can see if i can quit buying rapid rooter plugs.

Damn I must be a way behind... Still old tech here, rockwool and dip n grow. If I get lazy or just forget about em, then the cuts soak in a cup and somehow root almost quicker than my RW.. Maybe I should always be lazy and forgetful lol

the only problem i have had with coco ,is starting seeds in it.
they germ good, but in about 7 days up they get root rot an die.
my problem is/was seedlings staying too wet at this stage.
yes coco holding too much water.
thats why i start seeds now in promix then up pot to coco.

For clones i use rockwool cubes and CloneX gel. I feed them tap water and end up with 100% success rate. Just have to let the cubes dry out just enough before giving them more water. Ive also had great luck rooting cuts in a cup of tap water sitting in a window. I tried rooting in solo cups of coco and didnt have great luck but i am sure its a learning curve like any method.

Hope everyone is doing well. Havent posted much cause i am still not growing again yet so i dont have anything new to share. Hoping to do some outdoors this year though.

House chores and garden chores in the plans today. Glue is getting chopped and then going to make a dripper system so I can free up some time from hand watering. Everyone enjoy their weekend!

Hey folks I'll try not to talk too much lol.I've grown over a decade indoor and last summer had a go for it out side.Went pretty well until snails started scumming my buds.those mucus trails really goop up the trichromes.Think I'll get sick now.Any remedies would be so appreciated. Thanks

i found some tips from the below link. ill also quote it below the link.

http://www.garden.org/pestlibrary/bugs.php?q=show&id=1748

"Make plants less accessible by reducing daytime hiding places in the garden. Handpick and destroy slugs and snails as you encounter them; you can capture more by "hunting" at night. Fill shallow containers with beer and sink them into the soil to trap slugs and snails. Surround plants with copper barrier strips -- they give slugs a slight shock on contact. Poisonous iron phosphate baits are a safe alternative to other pesticides. Decollate snails prey upon other species of snail and slug, as do toads."

I fully agree with our friend Twisted, if you had problems with empty spaces in the canopy, the glue will fix that real, real quick.. Shes a leggy bitch that will bush out like crazy on the flip and try to strangle out everything else... Training is most definitely needed and the quality is top notch/everything looks really healthy though Hugh.
