bug.....Day 34 on the Jack H. I have three, this is the shortest and the only one with pistils that are starting to change color.

asslover - first time running this, only thing I have ever run more than once so far is the glue as I am still a newbie and not too many grows under my belt so far......greedy and want to sample so many things is what it really boils down to.

Here is a copy and paste of the Jack from the seedbank they came from. IC robots block the mention of this particular bank...even in PM for whatever reason so I substituted a "X" for a "S" in their name.

I dropped three seeds and got 3 females....was kinda hoping for a male as I want to throw some pollen at my glue. What do y'all familiar with glue think of this cross?

A true accolade to the ''Emperor of Hemp'', this is the real deal 'Jack Herer' bred exclusively by Xannie's, real haze dominant strain. Xannie's Jack is the result of over 10 years of dedication accompanied by a very careful strict selection process, choosing only the strongest plants for each generation resulted in an extremely stable F6 'Jack Herer'.

Primarily selected on flavour to capture the unique 'Jack Herer' quality of a spicy lemon haze that is appreciated by so many connoisseurs. This took a huge amount of effort especially when it came down to choosing the right male whose genes needed to display strength and vigour, a crucial stage in the breeding process. Once the healthiest male was chosen we could shift our focus to increasing the yield and stability.

With many plants to choose from during each selection process, the end goal has always been to create a very stable 'Xannie's Jack'. Slight variations may occur in flowering time but the same incredible structure and smell from the original 'Jack Herer' has always carried through. It has taken many years of work to get to the F4-F5-F6 generations and we can now offer the 'Xannie's Jack' F7 which has been further stabilized but also to give that extra shot in density and vigour. 'Xannie's Jack' is so stable for a Hybrid that it is at the point you could call her an IBL strain.

'Xannie's Jack' produces big buds, this is typical of a Sativa and tends to continue growing for another three to four weeks into flowering, easily reaching a height of one meter after only a very short vegetative period of approximately a week. Seedlings require about three to four weeks to reach maturity before they can flower, so expect 5 - 7 weeks of impressive plant growth. For this particular reason we recommend to use no more than nine plants in a Sea of Green (SOG) type grow. This 'Jack' F7 is a real pleasure to grow and we can promise you will be impressed by the way it grows, a great yielding plant with a taste that you will savour to the very last drag.

'Xannie's Jack' is also well suited for a Screen of Green (SCROG) type grow. Depending on the length of your vegetative period you can easily fill a square meter with one to five plants. Keep scrogging for at least 1 - 2 weeks into flowering to keep your main buds compact, she is a fast growing plant that will fill your SCROG net quickly. Medicinal benefits include the alleviation of stress, anxiety, nervousness, migraines, headaches, nausea and chronic pain.

If you appreciate a pure Jack Herer then this is the plant for you. This Jack has it all: stability, potency, vigour, high yield and most of all that special spicy lemon haze flavour.

Type: Mostly sativa
Flowering time:

10 - 13 weeks (indoor plant)
Yield: up to 750grams/m2 (indoor)
Taste: a powerful spicy/lemon haze
Effect: The high is heavy, very much a head high (real haze)
Flowers/Buds: Rockhard buds coated with crystals
THC content: up to 22%

The rot got me again

The rot got me again

Chopped the last 4 plants Durban Poison X Pine Queen Haze.

Was not at all happy with the results as 3 of them had rot all over, top to bottom. you may remember the one plant that I posted weeks ago that had the pink pistils? That one was the only one without significant rot.

I was doubting myself a bit until I looked back over some old posts and some of my documentation and determined that this has been the warmest, wettest spring that I can recall for at least the last six years since I started flowering plants well into April.

Really glad I wasn't trying to finish anything else as I'm fairly certain that it would be a complete loss. In years past, I've successfully gone right up to the beginning of May but that would be disaster this year. Anyway, on to the pics - I'm done until fall unless I put up some cured bud shots or mess around with my microscope.

And the pink Durban leaning plant

And the pink Durban leaning plant

A real beauty in my book, can't wait to smoke it especially since they were all chopped at 55 days.

Hopefully it's uplifting and energetic and not racy and paranoid.

Sorry to just post and run, but I hardly had time to throw these up.

Anybody heard from our favorite Komrade lately?? Thought he'd be checking in around now.

DP, cannot wait to hear a smoke report....she is a stunner for sure :tiphat:
I assume rot isn't an issue in the fall? Or do you fight it then as well?

bug, :yoinks:..........that "tripped" me out to find out how old that peyote plant is......amazing! Had no idea.....now I am gonna have to school myself. Have you divided over the years? Is that plant in the pic actually 48+ years old or is that a cutting from the old one? damn I am curious now....like Hugh said......it should be a family heirloom by now :tiphat:

had to chop my BSK#3. hella early from the looks of it. she was just too dense for all this humidity. there were seeds in there and petiole ends. the dries seed casings and the petiole ends started to mold in there. i just chopped. i started to root some clones the other day. i guess it was the spirits letting me know i need a backup plan.

i was hoping to get the most blueberry smells from this based on the early burnt rubberbands smell. but so far smells like a lot of grass and pine trees. /shrugs.
