ok so I finally figured it out, TFB=Thunderfuck Blockhead... duh. I've been following your exploits for a while and every time I see you mention the TFB I'm wondering what your talking about and then it just clicked. Great thread fjallhoga keep it up. I'll be sure to let you know once I get my breeding project off the ground. Malawi Gold, Swazi Rooibard, and Dutchgrowns Haze mix consist of Nevilles f2's and SSHxNH. Should be fun.

got some pics of your seedlings? mine haven't stretched one bit, looking good so far...

only got 3/5 to germ and one died out before it could stand out... i am not giving up on the 2 that didn't germ though. Yukon says these beans are just fine and i believe him.

comparing is good , i planted 10 outside to have more phenos to look for that i want, as i already have + 20 plants in veg in my 400w cabinet....

wow, some of those tfbs are stretched out? far from lights? cuz mine haven't stretched a hair

jep they stretched all a bit to much as my fluroscent was a bit to high, but i dont have a prob with them getting a bit lanky, so far there are no probs with the mainstem they can stretch how much it want.Usually i leave the seedlings for 10-14 days under the fluro and then in veg under the 400 after a repott in bigger homes, coffee cups are just good for germination or planting ....
yeeehhaawww today the first batch of VcB is dry enough for a smoke out [ i cut her @ 55 so she will have a nice stone ], but before i have to go to work so cya all later

She has very broad but sharp accentuated leafes very haze like serrated leaf fingers , is a bit slow to veg ,very branchy bushy style, she got a nice FIMM to promote branch growth from begin

mmmmmmm romulan, another one of my fav smokes. the expansive pheno is to die for. well....your lungs will probly die first haha.

the moms look happy, i see a few that look like they could use a bit more N though.

thx jay , i thought of that deficiency but i wasnt sure if its N or Mg
i gave them for 2 days a medium feed of alga-grow so i think the soil must be saturated (with nutes) well enough. I think the problem is their need for H2O i cant water that much as they need.Ill cut 2-3 clones of the right-behind-ones (5-some), all are males and will be kept and tested in some crosses ....

Is it really that warm that u can already get started from seed outdoors there....thats crazy......and thats awesome as hell that your gonna throw some TFB outdoors for a "Full Season". I cant wait to see how that turns out!!!

I have been wanting to do an outsider, in colorado, but I'd be watering every day, and even "rural colorado" is way to populated anymore.

I'll be moving back to Alaska w/ in a year (I've been living back and forth for the past 10 years) ...and will have a Full-On Greenhouse "somewhere" in the Mat-su valley or on the kenai peninsula....I cant wait to show u guys pics of some outdoor shit then. (I always consider a greenhouse to be outdoors....sorry) I know its not the same (I hate outdoor bugs and pests on plants though, and its nice to be able to manipulate a dark cycle when necessary)

FJ- do u see any MTF phenos yet or is it too early to tell?

hey fj, can we see a pic of your BH male? i'd like to compare it to my keeper male. my BH male is the nicest male i've ever seen.

najo Im not sure if they will get to maturity this season ... for this year i only can say that its got very late warmer to plant the beans, usually i plant them on my balcony mid-end march.... maybe we get a later fall too
No yukon i dont think i can differ the seedlings now, i just see some braoder leaflets and some thinner ... I want to wait like 6 weeks to get them for the first clone round, but i have to take ~ 100 clones in the next days [30-40 Blockhead, 25 Venomberry99,20 Ghaze/Venomberry ,8-10 Romulans ] ; BH,GHVB + Roms get a 4-8 weeks veg time as they dont stretch a bit and i want to try if i get that damn 1gpw with Blockhead and Romulan

its a very leafy phenotype with irie dank and bone breaking odors, very red colored stems, very finicky with nutes and super tight internodal structure,
and from onset of 12/12 he starts to show a "no-stretch-instantly-start-to-produce-male-cluster-mode "!
I want to let him go to full 55-65 days to look if hes a resinated stud

Jepa and the one BHf in 12/12 is def the grape pheno, markable @ day 48 with extreme citrusy flavors and a super dank red grape undertone ....

thanks for the pics and info fj.. my male is probably most similar to the last one, with red stems.. Almost no stretch aswell, super tight clusters and in early flower some people mistook him for a female due to the density/structure of the flowers, his macho ego was shattered.. lol

I showed pics of it in early & later flower, as well as pic of it harvested to a couple of experienced breeders and both instantly made me promise to keep him for as long as possible.. Luckily I had already taken clones off him after he was sexed in veg, cause you could tell he was something special..

3 TFB´s managed to make it over the soil, but it was a very cold night i hope theyre all ok...
Next week the indoor TFB´s and BF´s will go under the HID as i move my males under the fluro as they have enough branches to clone ...
today after work ill go and buy some rockwool cubes for the next clone-day + 100L soil would be perfect
