First Time Out

Jamie...LOL. Your right, no one told me bout rule #2. But I can say lesson learned.

McSnappler...Hey my friend, thanks for stopping in. Glad to have you hanging out. I agree 100% with you.

Pan...Thanks for the kind words my friend. You & Jamie have really been BIG helps. I believe I am getting the hang of the whole reading & understanding my plants thing.

But guess what guys, I think a couple of them are trying to show sex! Or maybe I'm just excited bout newer growth. But either way I'm seeing somthing growing in the creases of the nodes. My baby that I spoke bout earlier :yeahthats is one of them. And she is really starting to REEK! Oh yea and received my mandala seeds yesterday as well. So stay tuned guys, I'm not giving up.

PEACE

Glad to hear it Bro... no giving up either

these first few months seem like an eternity to us right now.. but this is the bit where we learn the stuff we need to get us through the next few years... in a couple of years time, you'll be rocking out some top gear and this will all seem like a distant memory... well I guess it will be a distant memory by then... ahh you know what I mean...lmao

BS#3

BS#4

BS#5...This one is @ Day 26 now & showing real vigor...

Mazar

They are @ Day 52 of veg. Except #5. This coming Sunday will be 8wks. I'm wondering if I can start feeding them a bloom formula? I really wanted to go ahead & switch them @ 8 wks. They are currently @ about 6" each, except #4 which is bout 4-4.5". I understand they will strecth under 12/12, but will it be enough to get a decent yeild still? Even though I stunted the hell outta them earlier in there growth? Thanks for stopping by. Looking forward to all comments, questions, & suggestions. PEACE

Looking Good! Hoping they'll pull through in the flowering. I would say let them grow a little more, but listen to jamie and panopticist they know more.

Finally.....LOL!!

Finally.....LOL!!

Im confused in the pics the say like day 28 and then you say they are at 52days in the text. What sort of light are you veggin under?I would definetly say let them veg a little longer for a better yield. With seedlings its really better to let em show sex naturally under 24hrs before you flower them although not completely necessary.Ive seen peeps flower from tiny seedlings and pull down a decent grow but it was all under a 400watt hps from day one. What are you feeding with and what do you plan to use in flower?Sorry so many questions. All aside they definetly look nice and healthy hope all is going well.Thanxx for gettin the pics up man.Peace,Gromer.

Thanks all for the kind words! Hey gromer, dank as hell homie. That's why I'm handing in there with as long as I can. Hey homegrown, I will listen to you as well homie. I'm sure you have grown plants longer than me. And if not, then that's what this place is for, for us to learn from each other. I will let them go a couple wks longer guys. Thanks for having me marick, & thanks for stopping by.

Hmmmmmm.....Could It Be?????

Hmmmmmm.....Could It Be?????

Thanks gromer? Hey guys I had a question, My Mazar fan leaves stem is a reddish/purple color. The leaves themselves has some sort of dark tint down the middle of them coinciding with the stems. Is this nute def or could it actually be a purple pheno? OR am I just a newb thats easily excited? LOL

I don't know if Mazar has a purple pheno. I'm guessing that is not what it is ...

Some of my plants get that coloring. My Afghani it is in the genes. Some of that others, it's usually a pH lockout or sign that I am lacking something. Usually just regulating the pH puts them back to a nice green in new growth.

Just my :2cents:

Goodluck out there.

Thanks secret, kinda figured I was jumping the gun.

I do have some good news tho: I have a confirmed female!:woohoo:

BS#2

Now question, Is it still O.K. for me to go for another couple of weeks? Thanks in advance.

PEACE

P.S. Sorry but that was just some new foliar growth & not flowers. SORRY

Whats the height? The reason i said for another week would be for them to grow and get healthier, because of what happened in the early stages. I would say waiting a couple more days wouldn't make a difference. If they look good then you might want to switch them.

Hey homegrown thanks for replying. SecretGarden was right I was doing something wrong. I make my feed solution a gallon at a time, so the one I was using I believe had gotten old, 2 1/2 weeks. So I made the newb mistake of flushing thinking it was lockout, which in coco I just recently found out is not a good thing, but it wasn't. I was foliar feeding with fish emulsion just a lil too regularly & started getting what looked to me like nute burn. So I made a fresh batch yesterday & watered & they have bounced back beautifully! But instead of using the normal formula I have added PBP Bloom for Soil.

The Mazar is now @ 8". The tallest BS is, if my memory serves me correctly, 7 1/2". They all are looking pretty healthy to me. I also have germed my last 5 BS. 4 popped & 1 is already out of the RR & looking for the light. I am going to try my hand outdoors with these since it is starting to get into the low 70's everyday now. I will veg them in the tent just until I flip the others & OUT they go! So that is it for now, any & all comments, questions, & suggestions are welcome. PEACE

Hey FT, been a bit busy with harvest and all, but I've been checking in now and again.

If you flip your Mazar at 8" it'll end up anywhere between 16" and 24" give or take a few inches in either direction. You might wanna give things another week or two in order to buff them out a little to make sure that they've got enough meat on those bones to put out a good yield.

I realize you are probably bugging out a little at the amount of time you've been vegging for, but it's all good. When I was doing micro cabinet grows, I had to let one plant go 19 weeks in veg before I was able to make enough room for it to flower.

Longer veg = better budset = higher yield

I don't know much about organics, but I can only assume that they have a faster rate of degradation due to their makeup, so it makes since that a tea would go south in such a short amount of time. I like liquid ferts myself, due to the shelf life.

Looks like you're working out those problems as they arise. Good work.
