Hows it going stanky? Your plants are looking awesome mate - followed your grow from the beginning and I'm really impressed with how your setup has worked out for you, those colas are looking really fat and dense.

I'm looking forward to seeing them finish for you mate - looks like you're slightly ahead of me - I'm starting to get twitchey Still no amber trichs on my MK or SC but I'm sure they'll be along soon.

Lookin FAT and dense Stanky , ive used pyrethrin bombs and they were worthless, waste of money, glad the neem is workin' for ya! Last time between runs i used a good old fashioned Raid bug bomb and am still bug free" knocks on wood ". Anyhow, looks great my friend! Woooooooooooo Hooooooooooooooo !!!!!

Im getting pretty anxious to harvest!!!! Ive been soo tempted to cut off a sample nugget but ive held back.

Wow man - I'm away for a week and look how these girls have phattened up! Nice fat foxtailing going on! Strong work dude! You're gonna be very happy with this harvest - guaranteed.

And props for catching the mites early and puncing on them hard. I also use the no pest strips when I have a problem, spot spray with pyrethrin or Neem Oil. Like Bonzo wave mentioned the bugs can get tolerant of pyrethrin pretty quickly, so it's good to have another bug smasher to use as well. Anyway, I thing you have it covered with what you have.

Fed them a gallon each with 1 tbls of molasses!!!

Looking very nice there Stanky. I wish mine had turned out like that. I had to chop them early due to a bad case of root rot. They are in paper bags right now. about half dry already and I got 95g ATM. I know its gonna keep going down, but Im pretty sure that I pulled 2oz off one plant. Looks like you might end up getting 2+oz from each plant my man. You done some good work on your 1st grow. Congrats man.

Hey all,

I just want to say hello and let you all know things are still going very well!!!!!

No plant pics tonight cause i want you all to see the progress, and they look the same to me as they did 2 days ago!!

However i built my SCROG screen tonigh for my next grow!!!!

Materials used-

1/2" pvc piping

2 x 36" = front and back
2 x 15" = middle of side's
4 x 3 1/2" = between corners and legs
4 x 17" = legs

4 corner pieces
4 T connectors

100' Synthetic ALL PURPOSE Clothesline -- I didnt need all of it

8" zip ties to connect lines

Qwerty- Haha!!! Im only able to grow in a bathroom because i have 2, in a 1 bedroom apt no less!!!! Im in the process in designing a cab at the moment!!! But that wont be up and running for awhile now!!!!

Rkrone- They are getting pretty stinky!!! They both are giving off a very nice fruity/floral scent!!! I can only imagine what they are going to smell and taste like after the cure!!!!! YUMMY!!!!!!!!!

Teh_Baker - Thanks man!!! Ive certainly been lucky with this grow. I only hope the next goes just as well!!!!! Ill be ONE happy S.O.B if i get 2+ oz per plant!!!!!! Id be happy with any amount...The fact that i grew it and cared for it myself is the biggest reward!!!! And i don't have to give anyone money for crappy smoke!!!! The ganja gods have blessed me!!!

Hey there bonzo!!!! Yes!!! that huge bud/plant is the ROMEO!!! Actually they both are!!!! The shorter plant is def going to be finished first though, but im gunna let them go as long as they need!!!!!

Picture update!!! I finally got the nerve to turn the lights out for a photo shoot!!! I hadent done this before cause i was worried about messing the plants cycle up. but i read a bit about it and didnt hear anything wrong with it!!!!

Hello all!! Well today was day 54 flower!!!! I was away for about 2 days, before i left the trichs were about 20% amber, 40% cloudy and 40% clear. When i returned i checked the thrich and wow what a drastic change!! They were about 40% were amber and 60% cloudy.... Ive done alot of reading on harvesting and i decided to give her the chop!!!

Reasons,

1. Trichs!! I wanted to see how the high is with mostly cloudy compared to mostly amber. Im going to let the taller Romeo go till mostly all amber 75% to 25% cloudy!!!

2. I want to compare the difference so i have a better idea of when harvest! Seeing ive never done this before. My preference shall be found!!

3. I also noticed the hairs beginning to recede. Ive read that this means the flowers are just about finished and ready to shut down production of flowering. Please correct me if im wrong.

Now here is my Big question.... I was planning on drying in my grow room with the lights off. But seeing that the other plant still needs to finish i cant have the lights off. I hung them up about the light. There is a mild air current but not directly on the flowers. Is the light going to mess up the drying cycle? Will this be bad for the drying process?? Im pretty much out of other options cause i cant do it anywhere else in my apt cause it will be way too stinky....

Please let me know what you think or any ideas you may have... Id appreciate
any ideas or what have you!!!!!

Hey Stanky,
That looks like a good haul from 1 plant. And its a good idea to stagger your harvest times for that very reason, you want to find out how you like your buds. As for the drying, I'm not too sure if lights have very bad adverse effects on your buds drying. I'm sure there will be other people here that can tell you better. Anyways great job man.

If I am correct, that light will be bad for your drying plants. I'm not sure exactly why, but I am sure that drying/curing/stored erb should be done in darkness. I believe it has to do with retaining THC.

Any experienced growers want to confirm this?
