Fireknot farm 2016

Thanks Biosynthesis! I saw Shcrews drying on remesh and he was able to get a large volume done in a small space with ease so that's where I got that from. I also saw people making hortonova trellis walls on instagram hanging pieces from the ceiling and totally filling spaces that way...very cool, temporary, reusable and cheap.

I wonder how much ice this job is going to take..

most any press will work pretty good ... i believe the real key is the heated plates used with the press . I had a buddy build mine . I think if you look around you will find multiple sources

You've used one beanz? Its not overkill? I was juet going to do trips to the store and some totes but if its more efficient then why not..

Thanks Babba, I'm interested in how the plates are attached properly...I might pick the brains of the guy who presses it so I do it right

Oh my god that hash looks killer! How do you dry it out? I have some 73mic that is still sticky to the touch after 4 days now...

It fuckin snowed yesterday!

Just sitting here getting a feel for using a dab rig. I feel like I'm getting it too hot or something...the rosin tends to leave some black residue but I like the hits better when its hot. :dunno: The blueberry mountain is my favorite to dab so far. I've been using a hair straightener but want to eventually upgrade and make my own press.

Now that King Klone closed sourcing clones is a little trickier. I'm considering giving rcp a call and seeing if I can order some mendobreath from midnight farms or something but they are the priciest clones I've ever heard of in my life. 12 a piece. Maybe emerald cup is a better bet? Which btw... im pumped for!

Sourced materials to get the 8 lighter fired up again yesterday. I'm going to spend the next few days getting it all reassembled cleaned and ready to go. Last year I used sunshine 4 and general hydroponics. This year I'm going back to coco / perlite and using house and garden. I see they have some new products, like n boost, etc, havent gotten them yet until further research is done on if they're really needed or not. I did grab their beneficial mix though.

Got a whole bunch of oak stacked and burning...winter is coming....I still haven't found a cheap/reliable 4x4 truck thats worth spending any money on and could potentially be stuck here for another 10 days like last year if I don't figure that one out soon. Fun times on the farm!

hey since your in the market for a rosin press, check this out, killer deal on the plates..

the plates are like 80% of the total cost of the press, one guy 710 snob, sells them for 520 but got a few up on ebay for a black friday sell for $280!

get those plates asap and then all u need is a 6 ton press from homedepot/harbor fri=eight, you could have a nice rosin pres for $5oo

only 6 left and a few hours...

at $520 there still the cheapest way to make a diy press, but $280 is a straight steal..

Thanks for the heads up, I've been following the rosin thread.

I started using sunshine 4 without realizing it had lime in it. Had a shitty run before I figured that out. Then spent all of last year trying to dial in a system with genetics (candyland) that never filled out. Hence why I'm going back to what i know works. I dont have the balls to try to grow indoor organic yet but want to eventually.

Got lucky and found a good 4wd for cheap just now...no longer will be stranded here and can make trips to Tahoe now!

Gonna dab some of this dragons fruit, eat some lunch, and get those hoods cleaned. Someone has ancient og cuts available but I'm not sure I want to monocrop it indoor...

If you try to feed it pH-wise like coco you will fail...it drives the pH down...Chimera says 6.7 for these "medium-less" mixes. I did better once I figured that out but still never as good as coco.

Cool, have you ever tried or thought about growing in sub irrigated planters (sips)?
