Im not going to lie I am a little nervous, Ive never used anything like this in my life. Probably going to stay relatively sober until this job is done!

If you have a hard time holler at me. Not sure if I'm close enough to help but I'm really good with equipment. It used to be my job.

If you do flip it, make sure your recording for all of us,.

You got this. Start slow at first. Keep an eye on animals, and other people. In two hours, you will be working it no problem. Good luck. :tiphat:

please dont flip it...my friend got hurt real bad from that once...damn bro I wish I could help you Im literally sitting here for 2 days doing NOTHING with a brand new Ford diesel truck lol.

Wow that was fucking fun! I got to drive it fast down the street then up to my house.

I at first wasnt able to do it! It just spun on the cold wet clay. Turns out those empty holes were not empty! I dug down and found good soil. So I dumped all 3 bags of perlite on my road for traction. It was just enough to get the job done.

I ended up getting almost all of it. I think there's maybe half a yard left. See The Aftermath pic. Would you guys undercut the ammendments at all or just roll with it? It picked up some pine needles, grass and clay. I threw out what I could. I wont trip on the rest. They all look about the same volume. I did the best I could.

Still so much work to do... I ordered a pump and will be taking the rest of the day off. Thanks everyone for your advice and support. I've got a lot less anxiety now all that heavy ass dirt has been moved. I need a fucking shower and some lunch. Oh, you were right Shcrews, after I got the hang of it I got high as fuck. Only scraped one tree with the bucket too!

Starting to think I should have cut these 2 pine trees in the corner...will probably just do that next year...fuck it...

You mind telling us about your pump. Model and use?

I just bought one, and got sent the wrong pump! I am using mine for fertilizing out of a 250 gallon reservoir. Some up hill, most down hill. That is the reason I am asking, looking for a reliable pump.

Like just a submersible utility pump or an irrigation style pump? I've owned just about every utility pump on the market and can go into detail if thats what your asking about.

The cabin needs work but I plan to post up. The stars up there are awesome.

I went with a Stark 1.6 HP with a 3.5 gal pressurized tank.

Edit: I feel wrecked today. My plan is to go up there and ammend and shape a mound...see how long it takes...then multiply that by 20 to get the sum of just how fucked I am.

I multiplied leadsled's amounts on page 22 by 2 (2 yard mounds) then I divided by 80 (half a yard remains roughly) then subtracted that to get my rough ammendment total which comes out to 106 grams manganese per mound, 1920g gypsum (960g now 960g later), and 1594g oyster shell flour....not including micros...
