'sup fellas? Well, here's some pics to help "diagnose" what's going on here.
First, though, is a pick of my half a cage anti-pestomatic screen doohickey (name is courtesy of Gov. Packn2Puff)...patent pending

Sorry these are kinda shitty close up. You probably have a better chance of seeing them while they are thumbnails, but if you need a close up, just click on it. Oh, and Alaska it's an old ass Sony Cybershot. I actually bought it just for the purpose of taking pics of the plants. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to use it till now, and I've had the camera for 3 years! It's good to know that it still does its job.

Man, you've been biiiizee while I was away! Congrats on your recent harvest!
Everything is looking fab. You've gotten some great info on red hairs... some plants turn red faster and earlier than others, but the secret is in the trichs... If I let my C13 go longer than 40 days or so, she gets heavily red haired...
That pic was after a 50 day run - she starts turning red at day 35. Can't go far wrong trusting the trichs...
Keeping my eye on your Cinnamon Haze Dreamweaver, I recently got a couple of Mods KaliDream - KaliMist x Dreamweaver - sounds like a first cousin to yours, you'll be giving me a preview - thanks!
BTW - hope that Pest-O-Guard is patent pending :wink: Great idea!

Well, hello everyone it's been a while, yeah? Sorry, had to play catch up with my Technical Communications class and Algebra. Well, on to the responses...
hazy what's up, bud? Man, those pistils are showing up everywhere. It's great. There's only a few that have turned reddish-brown, most are still bright white.
MGJ man, it's been a while, brutha! I was afraid you'd gotten lost! Yeah, that's hazy's Dreamweaver, but it sounds yummy! I'll be droppin' by his pad, too. Hey, maybe I'll see you there. How's your C99 doing? Mine are getting more and more pleasing to the eye. They smell, too. The runt smells just like the lemon loop in Froot Loops, while the bigger one used to smell like that, but now kinda smells like rotting lemons and pineapples. How do you check your trichs? I have a 60x-100x handheld microscope and it's really difficult to try checking the glands when it's still on the plant. The only thing I can think of is to clip a small leaf and look at that.

namo what's the haps? I've got a feeling that this C99 is going to be the most potent bud I've ever smoked.....so far I can't wait to try out some other strains. I'm thinking of growing blueberry outdoors next year, and also RomP19....but what about A11? Damnit! Too many strains!

Yeah, I may not have the greatest yield, but it's still gonna be some super kick ass smoke...I'm kinda scared to smoke it. All I've had for years is nasty, nasty, NASTY shwag. I have absolutely no idea what these buds are gonna do to me, but I know I'm gonna love it!
Since I'm finally all caught up in school I will post some new pics in the morning.

Yeah, I was out of commission for a bit there - but here Ah am... My Cindys - I have 2 girls, neither is super vigorous, one is a bit faster than the other - so that one is going to flower pretty soon - maybe tonight. They are not smelling yet, but they will The last cindy I grew had a more of a grapefruit smell, I bought WallyDuck's because he selected for pineapple; JLP's Amnesia99 renewed my love of pineapple flavors. I use a cheap triple lens loop I found a Radio Shack - 5-10-15x, can be stacked but 10+15 is way too much power for handholding. You have the best idea - take a little clip of leaf and look under the scope - Keefhead showed me the benefits of this view of our ladies. Meanwhile I still use my cheap loop as it's good enough for now, and I don't really have a convenient space for a scope and clippings...
Hey - ya snuck some frostyness in while I wasn't looking - nice buddage man! On those pesky leaves - sometimes I clip, and sometimes I turn / tuck 'em out of the way - I think either is ok... Sometimes I also spread the branches apart if I have the space....

Nice frost Twistedtree, good job... i had the same thing too of the fan leaves blocking the lower buds light, i just clipped them. anyway during flowering i remove most fanleaves but not all.And yes NO MORE SHWAG! smoking ur own GREAT weed all year

no laughing here man. first grows rarely come out as hoped. so much to learn and of course finding out how males can drop your expected yield quick is a big lesson. and it takes a lot of planning and work and time to get to be weed self-sufficient.
you'll get there, and after you smoke some of that kick-ass weed that you grew yourself, you'll work to make sure you can get there.
i've been growing off and on since '79, i know, i'm old.
but only seriously for the last year. and i'm just now getting to the point where i might not run out of weed again. in fact, i should be running a surplus in a few months.
it's worth it.

don't kill off leave the bottom two branches with the buds and growing tips intact and put her back into vegatative state you can keep her as a mother or let her veg out and after you have good vegatative state and prune tips for lots of tips you could rebud 1 or 2 times last time i revegged the second time plant got strange and weak sickly and it was a c99 from femaleseed in holland but keep that c99 sometimes its hard to find seeds for that strain.....
Quality over quantity is always the best attitude to have
