that is a tough choice in your lap p'fan
like whats best for the family as far as money is one thing, but you also have to consider a bunch of other things as well
like you said, how would you grow/ get smoke?
not only that but it dosent seem like the most tolerant state as far as people who dont conform to their idea of normal; how about if your neighbors knew you smoked weed?
have you guys been out there yet? maybe go and check out the scene before you make any commitments
did the pay raise bump you into the next tax bracket? that dosent make sense and im glad you got it sorted, brother
hope the kids party was fun and you were able to enjoy your weekend

im looking forward to the super bowl too
i will be sad knowing its the last game of the season but its been a great year for football and im excited about the match up
6/9 is decent gremination, esp for older seeds; i hope you find something good and am interested in the lbl cross
so how is the cold, man?
we are feeling a touch of the chill here too but hey, its winter time
so what are you doing for the big game in a couple weeks, fiddy?
im thinking i might grill but thats been done before
maybe we can get rocker' to bring us some ant eggs back

Pop Rocks,

Their was some weird issue. My hourly wage was reduced by 5.6 percent. Instead of increased by 2 %. I was fuming. Luckily, our office lady is hot. And she's hella cool. So it's getting straightened out.

Yeah, it's definitely interesting time for us. I am leaning toward no. I would like to go check 8t out , don't know that its possible. I wouldn't stress so much about the weed. I can handle the time 8f shit goes south. I can't leave my wife to pick up the pieces. Or worse yet have child services take the kids.

The party 8s this Sunday. It's always a good time. Probably going to be cold as shit. I may have to pull out the fire pit my mother in law got me for xmas.

I smoked some rib tips Sunday, man they are good. Fully smoked in 3 hours, as opposed to 6 hours for the full racks of ribs. The kids were covered in bbq sauce, me too actually.

Garden is chugging along nicely. I transplanted to 1.5 gallon hempys on Saturday. I am hopeful to have them in flower in 3-4 weeks. These are pretty vigorous.

Hempys are great. I like them since you don't need saucers. Gives the growth of daily watered coco. I hand water every 3 days, by week 4-5 I will start watering daily. I am excited for the frosted cherry cookies. Love me some cookies. I wound up with 2 females from the granola funk I got from Fiddynuts. They were both very potent and tasty. They sold out in n a couple days.

What have you got going? Seed plants right?

Good afternoon pop_rocks.
I hope we get a good game for the super bowl. Looking back I'm not sure if I watched last the last couple or not but if I did I don't remember anything about the games. As they say, all good things must come to an end and it's the same with fotball. Besides, pitchers and catchers report to spring training just a week or two after the game so that is exciting. The brew crew picked up some players in the off season and have a move or two yet to make so I'm really looking forward to seeing what we have this year.
I'm not disappointed in the 6/9 germ but I'm usually much closer to 100%. But for some free beans that are at least a couple years or more old I'll take it. Now if we could just get them past that slow seedling stage and get them to take off I'll be much happier. I always forget how slow seeds are at first. They are working on second and third sets of leaves so just a few more sets and they should go. I will keep y'all posted on how they are doing.
We had a couple of pretty cold days then yesterday it was close to 30 degrees and we got about 6-8" of snow overnight. The real cold is comming with lows in the teens below zero and highs on Friday and Saturday that might not even get to zero. It's that type of cold that I struggle with. I don't mind our seasonal averages of around 20 degrees but there is something that happens when it gets below about 10 degrees that makes it miserable for me. If I could hide inside it would be better but I have to do a lot of moving stuff around outside at work. Plus the really cold weather fucks with people's cars and is hard on them.
Not sure what I'll be cooking up for the game but it will depend a bit on the weather. It's been a while since I cooked up a brisket but that can be a lot of work and I want to be able to relax a bit. I'll figure something good out and I'm sure we will be posting about the feasts!
So those ant eggs looked bigger than most of the ants I've seen so what gives with that? Are you guys messing with me?

Good afternoon Packerfan.
I feel a lot like you do in that I could do the time if I get caught growing. But without kids it's a much easer decision for me. That is very responsible of you to think of and put your family first. Best to play it safe brother.
I did ribs last weekend and they were great. It's been a while and I forgot how good they can be. BBQ stains are part of the fun.
I'm glad you got a couple of good plants out of the GF seeds. Did you save any for yourself?

I was going to save the best plant for me. But, I only saved a quarter for me. It's about half gone. It was straight black covered in frost. I love the cookies and cookies crosses.

I have to put the little munchkins first. My buddy can always send me a care package, if I get desperate.

By this time tommorow, I should know what the deal is. My gut says it's not a good idea. I will see what they offer to stay till the end here. Most likely I will be looking for a new job shortly.

Good afternoon Packerfan.
One of mine was very dark purple as well and so covered in frost it almost had a grey hue to it and could have been mistaken for mold if you just glanced at it. Surprisingly the dark one of mine had a little less flavor than some of the others, but is still good.
I hope you get good news from your company or at least get it figured out which way your going so that you can plan. Sending good vibes your way brother!

Good afternoon pop_rocks.
You are so right that when the season is over you have more time to get active and do fun stuff. Get those bikes prepared and get some riding in for me brother. It looks like it's going to be a while before I get to ride. We got close to a foot of snow in the last week and have a bunch more coming. That and very cold temps are going to keep me off the trails for a while, maybe months. Now when it finally does warm up the ground is going to stay wet for a long time.
I'm leaning more and more to cooking up something in advance of the game and having a crock pot full for grazing all day on game day. Like you said, we like to eat good and just have to do something delicious on the big day.
It's still relatively warm here, around 15 degrees, but lows are 10 below or so tonight with a high of zero tomorrow and looking even worse next week with a HIGH of 9 below zero and wind chill in the 30 below + range. Not looking forward to it. I'm glad you guys are having pleasant weather, but I'd bet it feels pretty cold in the early mornings. I hope spring is getting close but no guaranties up here.

we have been having a great week of weather but its starting to get back to seasonal norms here
today wasnt as warm as its been but still nice
the mrs might have some plans this weekend but im still going to make sure we get out and enjoy some outdoors adventure
next weekend she is going to go away for an overnight but should be back in time for the game
/at least thats what she said
im still going to make some fun foods and enjoy the game
if nothing else this gives me all saturday to cook and f around the house
so a buddy of mine got a pet pig!
the thing is rad and i cant believe how cool it was; similar to a dog but it seemed really smart and was very food motivated
one more day to go guys, tomorrow is friday and im ready for the weekend

Yeah Pop Rocks,

Weasley is a good description. I have had irritations before so I am thinking fuck that. I am working on bigger and better things. Hopefully. I had to laugh the lead in the most profitable department, told me today, hes going to the local water company and not giving notice. Lol. These idiots are going to have to reverse engineer half the products. Mabey more than half. Oh well, that's not my problem.

Probably go hang with my dad for the super bowl. My dad makes some kickass chili, and I am sure my wife will whip up something interesting. Just a kick back game day. Kids will be entertained by Grandma.

Hey Packer fan
Sorry your getting jerked around at work. I hope you find something better soon.
I'm taking your advice on defoliation and starting to pull some of the shade fans on the longbottom x skunk plants. How do you decide what to pull and what to leave? I cleaned her up down low and took off some of the leaves shading bud sites but hesitate to cut much fearing I'll go too far.
Pop you do that too don't you?
I need a lesson here guys

I try to take a couple leaves every few days. It's pretty strain dependent. Generally I just want to expose more areas to the light. Never pull a leaf coming out of a bud. That's how mold start. Don't leave stem , take it at the branch.

I have gone to far before, they kinda stall out for a few days. Some people strip them really hard before flower, I don't

Issac has a great tutorial on plucking leaves to minimize stretch. It's a big thread may take some time to find it, but it's a good read.

Good morning Packerfan.

Totally shit move on your company's part brother. I think from your comments that you know the place was not running right or heading in the right direction. Better to find out now that after a move but still sucks. Better things are on the way for you, just hang in and keep the faith.

Good afternoon pop_rocks.
I'm glad your getting nice weather and going to enjoy some outdoor time. The toughest part of winter for me is the reduced activities, at least ones outside. I've been hitting the elliptical pretty good in the gym so that I'm ready when the weather breaks, or when we go to 'bama, whichever comes first.
I'm sure you will miss the Mrs but sometimes a Saturday day alone at home to get shit done is just the thing. I sure you will cook something great up and have a great super Sunday.
I've heard that pigs are great pets! I think I've read that they are about as smart as dogs and can be trained to do much of what your pet dog does. Any animal that is motivated by food can be manipulated, just look at what happend to the wolf.
I hope your week rocked and Im looking forward to some rest this weekend.

Good afternoon.

I have found that the clones of the seed plants that ice been growing out don't have nearly as many leaves as the seed plants that I use to grow out. Next run for me will be with seed plants and I'm pretty sure I'll be experimenting with some defoliation on that grow. Funny I was just reading today where Tony green was saying that root pruning and leaf pruning will get plants that are prone to intersex to show it, maybe this is a secondary reason to prune a bit if you think it's a cut that you might want to keep around.

its friday and we got through the week, now its time for some fun!

yeah fiddy, sometimes we all need some time to ourselves; i dont mind one bit
thats great that you are keeping in shape and hitting the gym, the mrs is a beast on those eliptical machines and will even read a book while she does it
ive been pretty sedentary this winter other than walking a lot and going on our hikes
but it seems to be working for me and i feel good
/knees been bother me a bit but otherwise im doing fine

keep moving on to bigger and better things pack'man
its never a good sign when your top talent is jumping ship
it dosent hurt to keep your eyes open for another opportunity and im sure you will do whats best for you and the family my man

i really only defoliate in veg, when the plant is in flower i might clean things up a bit but after the first few weeks of flower i dont really prune
what i like to do is more lolipopping, where i trim off the lower most branches to let the plant put its all into the top
it has numerous advantages and i usually take off about the bottom quarter to third of the plant early on, depending on the set up
otherwise i just pull off the leafs that look to be less than 50-60% green in flower or on the rare occasion the largest fan leaf shading the top buds
also like p'fan said, you can take off a few leafs today and then come back later and pluck a couple more
you can always remove a leaf or stem but you cant put them back once you take them; this is a case where less can be totally more if you are worried
and like anything expect to make soem mistakes and learn form them, you will get the hang of it
/some plants love it when you trim them back others not so much
and like he said, dont pluck the leafs out of the buds and take them off at the stalk
you got this brother!

hope everyone is having a great friday night, lets start the weekend off right!

Good afternoon pop_rocks.
I hope you had a good weekend! Did you watch the pro bowl? I tried but couldn't bring myself to watch much of it. The weather in Hawaii would have been a lot better for them.
It looks like the weather people were exaggerating last nights snow again. Yesterday they were saying they we were supposed to get 12-18' of snow last night and today but it looks like we are going to get about half of that. I hope that they are wrong about the super cold temps that are supposed to get here tomorrow as well.
I had gotten fairly sedentary as well during the hollidays but I've been getting back to it the last couple weeks or so. I just wasn't feeling as good physically or mentally when I wasn't getting my cardio.
We gotta get this week over and get to the big game on Sunday but I don't get CBS so not sure if I'll even be able to watch the game. I'm going to try the cbs app on my Apple TV and see if I can get it that way.

that would suck if you couldent get the game f'nut
you can also try streaming from cbs.com or there are some toehr sites i could steer you towards if you cant connect
/we once watched the superbowl online and it was different to say the least
the commercials were all different but once the action started it was all the same
i had the tv on during the pro bowl but dident really pay attention to the game
i even dozed off somewhere in the middle and woke up near the end
i hope the weather isnt half as bad as they are predicting!
they were talking about it today at work and it sounds brutally cold
im sure you can handle things once the weather dips but they were saying how the polar vortex is supposed to slide south the next couple days
if nothing else, cozy up inside with a good bowl and some good food; this is a great reason to throw a big blanket on the couch and cuddle up with the mrs and the dog
im at peak winter and feel like ive lost a step, but i will be back this spring
i have been having a hard time getting some seeds off the ground and broke out the heating mat to hopefully jump start things here
hope you had a great monday and are ready for the week brother!
