i cant believe the raiders let mack go, this guy is one of those players that you build a team around
but why spend the monet on players, they have grudden! @ 10y/100m

i love the smell of burning pine wood and i bet that heat up the house really nice
im pretty much over this tahoeOG, but if you want i can hang on to a cut for you
the lvtk sounds interesting, are you both running seed from the same breeder?
im about to fire up a light indoors so im looking for some new stuff
the only thing from my last grow that im sure to grow out again is the peyote critical
i have this stuff called fruity jack from philosopher seeds that im interested in
its supposed to be high cbd, but posts good thc numbers as well (whatever those are worth)
https://www.philosopherseeds.com/en/Fruity-Jack-jack-el-frutero-p-40.html

i see where we are goign witht is verde recipe,i love the taste of tomatillos
next time we make some pork im going to have to try out your sauce recipe, fiddy
i like the tangyness you get with the tomatillo and it sounds like it would go so good with pork or even seafood
i imagine it would be fun to ride in the snow and i think the bluto should be ready to take most of the trails
if becomes something you really get into the i could see adding another bike
did you ever get a light, man you ahve to try riding at night, its like a whole nuther' world out there

hope everyone one is having a great week

Hey pops. Hope you are well. Yes, both by CannaVenture. Excited to see what comes out. Also have 2 of my own cross putting on their third set of leaves. Kind of interested to see if they have intersex traits. Obviously hope not, but gotta test them out. If not I’m gonna slap a $6k price tag on them and fire up the hype machine! Lol kidding. Will just give them away and save a few :)

Hey Fiddy - What a game, what a heart break, the Brewers left so many runners on base, I stayed up and watched the whole thing, such a bummer to lose that one, so close and it would have really put them in the drivers seat. Gotta let it go and get ready for the next one.

Pop Rocks, Ya letting Mack go was just nuts, and your right he is the type of player you build around, plus everyone knows, defense wins championships.

Greetings friends.

Wow what a game last night boys. There are close games and there are close games but that was something else. Gotta tip the hat to the home team. When it takes 13 innings to win a game 2-1 you know there was some great pitching and defense. The only thing negative was the dirty play of Manny Machado. For a free agent to be he sure isn't making a case for a long and rich contract. His pre game comments about how he isn't "Johnny hustle" and dosent have to run hard to first base and now the kicking of our first baseman make him look like a piece of shit. Gotta buck up and get a win today or face a hard must win for 2 games back in Milwaukee. Go Brewers!

@Badfishy. Defense has been a huge issue for the packers for a long time. It seems like they think that the pack can just keep out scoring other teams and as long as they win the devision that way everybody's job has been safe. They aren't built for the playoffs. I feel a little sorry for Mack, as we know going to play for the Bears usually isn't good for anyone's career.

@rocker. You are right that the game 3 was a great game and game 4 was as well but a heartache in the end. Chacin was great in game 3 and he has really fit right in and out performed what was expected of him this year. He seems to get better and better as the games mean more and more. The crew needs to settle down and really fit for the win today. They have beat Kershaw before and can do it again. I'd love to see them get a big enough lead so that thay can retaliate and put a fast ball in Machado's ribs.
You are so right about the housing boom in colarado. We were staying with a friend in gunbarrel who is a carpenter and he was telling us what places are going for out there and it's crazy. Almost as expensive as the SF Bay Area was when we lived there. He does a lot of remodeling out there because there isn't a lot of land avalable to build.
Get that bike out brother! I was overweight and out of shape a year ago but pop_rocks and I kept talking about biking and it helped motivate me to get to the gym and in shape. Now I feel better than I have in like 20 years.

@pop_rocks. I'm looking forward to seeing what you run in your garden this comming up here. The Jack sounds interesting and should be a nice change from the normal.
I love tomatillos as well buddy. They make a really interesting sauce. I think that the pablano peppers have a really complimentary flavor with them. In fact I'm eating a kind of enchilada bake with some of the pork I made as we speak, with plenty of tomatillo and pepper sauce.
I am looking forward to trying some winter mtn biking this year. I rode this morning before work and it was in the high 30's and I was still warm enough in my riding shorts and a long sleeve shirt. I will need some warmer gear when it starts to really get cold. I'll see if my mid-fat bike works in winter and if not I'll get a cheaper full fat. I'm thinking that for a winter bike I'd keep it pretty simple, maybe even a rigid fork because of the salt and other elements. I still don't have a light but I'll probably pick one up this week because the days are getting short here and I like to get an early start.

im not sure about the spacing on your bluto, but you might be able to just buy a new wheelset to convert to full fatty
but with the cost of wheels it might be a better deal to spend a bit more and get yourself a full on second bike (a buddy bike)
plus christmas is just around the corner and you have really been kicking ass this year
i will be sure to dress up the sauce with the poblano chilis next time we make the tomatillo sauce, it sounds really good
we havent decided on a menu for this weekend so we will see whats cooking
im super excited that my sister is coming to town next week but we will totally be hosting a get together here soon
i will keep you posted on how thing go in the garden, i will probably get it sorted out this week with a start date of next week or so
a while back we were talking about moon cycles and sprouting seeds
i was thinking about that today on my afternoon walk
the moon looks about half full but what was the verdict on all that?
did you end up watching the whole game?
i nodded off about 9ish wct and it was still all tied up

let us know how your plants turn out fish'
it sounds like a solid selection and i hope you are happy with the results
that cool that you are growing out your own cross! i hope she is fire
just let us know when to fire up the hype machine brother and we will be there rooting you on

raider nation is in a state of chaos and i cant help but feel a touch of schaddenfreude at their misfortune so far, rock'
instead of paying your best players what they are worth, they instead resurrect a guy who hasnt coached in years and whos success was built on another coaches team
/a good case can be made that tony dungy built the team in tampa bay
typical C level gimmick and i hope they choke for many years to come

we are rounding the bases and heading for home fellows! the weekend is right around the corner!

Lol pops. Thanks bud. But no hype machine needed! The mother which was a (Death Star x Scott’s og) was truly a nice plant. Wish I knew more about what I was doing when I ran her, but was really one of my first tended to plants w a semi serious intent (had grown a bunch when younger, but all bagseeds left outside and checked up on once in a while). Didn’t really know what I had until she finished then was like damn I guess THAT is why people clone lol. Have popped 2 since and both were males. So no idea what will come out of them, but that’s half the fun right?

Oh Fiddynut, what a nightmare, looking at up being up 3 games to 1 yesterday to down 3-2 today. I really hope they can dig deep and rebound. I was able to see the game at work, cause we stream our TV, but I didn't care for what I saw.

Pops - I know what you are saying, I always thought Gruden carpet bagged on Tony Dungey's foundation, no one says it though, like you said he built his rep on MNF, thanks for pointing that out. Sorry your so disheartened though, it's all about ownership and Davis just doesn't have deep pockets, reminds me of John Moores owning the Padres.

Forgot to add - Anyone watching the Boston and Houston series/ game tonight?, this is great baseball, back and forth good defense, has it all. Hate to say it Fiddy... but the winner of this series will most likely be favored going into the WS, these teams hit the ball. I root National league but the American league is good.

Also I love the foody angle on this thread, I love cooking and recently got a bread machine and have been making fresh bread a lot, and I love the stuff.

And I am breaking the bike out this week-end, I am going to go ride The lake Hodges trail, Poprocks, I bet you know the area. I will park at the trail head west of the damn, near the fruit stand, and ride up and over the damn and around the lake and then possibly end up at Hernandez hide-away for a margarita before going back down the hill to the trail head and my truck.

Greetings friends.

Well the Brewers have had a rough couple days. They went from up 2 games to 1 over LA to being down 3 games to 2 in less than 24 hours. At least we are making a series of it I guess. The crew will have to come home and win back to back games to win the series. It's probably my fault for using the phrase that I'm "cautiously optimistic" about their chances when they had the series lead. But don't fret Brewers fans, this team plays best under pressure and just had a 12 game win streak. They had to win back to back games a few times at the end of the season and that game 163 just to get the opportunity to play here in the NLDS. Go Brewers!

@pop_rocks. My bike has boost 141 spacing and I think I've read that it won't accommodate full fats. I'm thinking that a dedicated bike would be best for winter anyway. I'd be driving the salty streets to get to the trails and the salt is really hard on anything metal, especially moving parts. I don't want to take my normal bike out in that. You are right that would make a great Christmas gift.
That is cool that your sis is comming to town. Is that the one that lives in colarado? Does she make it to SD often? It's always nice to spend time with family.
As far as moon cycles I think you are supposed to pop on a new moon but I'm not sure. I think I had it backwards and popped a bunch on a full moon once and they all came up. I know some people take that stuff pretty seriously but I've had great germ rates no matter where the moon is at so I'm getting pretty skeptical. To each their own.

@rocker. A bit of a nightmare for sure bud. Or maybe the crew has them right where they want them. The whole last two weeks of the reg season, including game 163 were all must wins and the crew seemed to get better as the pressure mounted. Brewers played really well at home so having the games at miler park is huge. I don't think they are done yet. Even if they don't manage to win the series it was a special season. They beat up on a lot of teams with much higher payroll than themselves. Also the rebuild of the team is way ahead of schedule and they weren't even supposed to be competing yet.
I haven't seen a whole sox/Astros game but what I have seen and the highlights look like they can both mash. I've been saying that bid love to see s Brewers / Astros WS. The Astros were in the NL central with the Brewers untill a few years ago when they sent to the AL and it would be like old times playing them again. I saw the first couple innings of the ALCS game last night and can't believe they called fan interference for that home run ball that was out of the park and in the stands.
We love our food here in the jungle. If you go back you'll find all kinds of recipes and discussion. We've made everything from cheese to sausage from scratch here. I really want to learn how to bake bread or get a bread machine but I try to be low carb and don't eat a lot of bread anymore.

glad to see you around, boosh
hope the harvest is going well , how do you feel about this year stash?

i dig it fiddy
ive never ridden in snow but it sounds like fun
try it out on some of the trails you like and see if its for you
i think as long as you are familiar with the terrain it shouldent be that bad, but the snow can hide a lot of stuff so be careful the first few trips out
yeah she has a house in co. springs but she is working in tx right now so they might get a house out there too
we are like best friends and i am looking forward to getting to spend some time with her
she gets in on sunday and my mom is going to pick her up at the airport
but im hoping she will have some time mid week to get together for dinner and maybe hang out next weekend
i will probably get some seeds going next week and am working on a short list of maybes

i got the mrs a bread machine last christmas and it was worth every penny, rocker
you can also use it to just mix up the dough for you and then bake it in the oven yourself, we do that every now and the for things like pizza crust or dinner rolls
i know hodges pretty well brother, i used to live off lake drive when i was younger (that was before they put in the bridge they now have on the 15 side) and me and the mrs ride there every now and then
starting off on that side is good and once you get closer to the lake you will find some decent single track
we usually start off on the SE side and head N then E to hernandez hideaway
hodges is a fun ride and i hope you have a blast; when was the last time you rode, what kind of bike do you have?
im not a raiders fan
i was a chargers fan for over 30y but have a lot of raiders fans for friends
but after the way that d.spanos treated the city of san diego i decided i had enough
i will always love football but im pretty much done with the chargers

hope everyone finishes off their week strong and has great plans for the weekend!
/or not, some of the best weekends are the ones were you have nothing to do and all day to do it!

Greetings friends.

I hope everyone is ending their week on a high and has a great weekend comming up!
I had a really nice mtn bike ride this morning and I'm feeling great. My legs are really feeling it after 3 rides in less than a week after a long lay off when it was too wet to ride.
Tonight is a huge game Brewers fans. It's win or go home and nobody wants to go home. My bro and I are cooking up some steaks and going to watch the game very closely. I still have a good feeling about this team. Go brew crew!

@AP. I hope your harvest is a good one brother. I have to hopefully finish up at my friends house this weekend as well. I planted 5 granola funk clones at her house in July and they came down a week ago right before the first hard frost.

@pop_rocks. Winter riding will be diffrent for sure. Around here we don't always get snow but we do always get a lot of cold. I'd think that when the ground freezes traction will be at a premium, especially if it gets snow covered. There will also be frozen puddles of ice and things like that to watch for. It should make for some interesting riding, not as fast but very technical. We shall see.
It's great that you have a good close relationship with your sis. My bro and I use to fight constantly when we were kids but are now like best friends too. Working in Texas sounds like fun. The BBQ brisket in Texas is supposed to be the best anywhere. My wife's brother lived in Texas in the 80's and he really liked it. He had a lot of stories about the trouble they use to get into out there.
Get those seeds popped man! I'm still way behind on getting clones cut for my next flower run and I've got to get a move on.

Just this guy, ya know?
Thanks guys! :huggg: This my first real outdoor grow so any harvet I would consider a plus after the late start and having to use my last 2 seeds as the only genetics on hand.

Hi Everyone,

AP- My welcome greeter, cool to see you where I have landed after coming out of the shadows, hope your harvest is plentiful and trichome filled.

Fiddynut- Holy Moley where to begin, what a fun ride this post season is, Just got finished watching game 6, Go Brewers, I got home at the 5th inning, it was in hand but still exciting, your SS, Arcia has a great arm, & Burnes was lights out . You we're so right, the crew produce under pressure. Game 7 will be so intense, can't wait. Way cool you are getting on your bike in the early AM, I love working out/exercising in any form before work, it sets the day in a positive light for me, hope you find that as well. I used to snowshoe the trails in winter that I biked in summer, but fat tire was only a beer back than, lol. I moved back to cali 4 years ago and haven't ridden like I did in Colorado but I have missed it and you have motivated me to get back on 2 wheels.

Poprocks- Am I understanding you right , you lived near Hodges, before the 15 bridge at Hodges? If so, WOW, way old school. I moved here early 90's and my brothers house was just east of the 15 at Hodges, above the mall, back when the water still came west under the 15, we would walk our dogs there. So I have ridden coming from the East before years and towards the marina and Hernandez, but years ago, now I am on the coast, so I am coming from the west and I want to climb the reservoir if I can :), I have seen the trail head off of Del Dios by the fruit stand, and I have been wanting to try it, so props to Fiddy for the motivation, Sunday it happens, I will report back in. You asked about my bike I have a Gary Fisher Sugar 4 full suspension, I upgraded the front and back derailleur's and shifters to Shimano XTR, it's about 15 years old now, a bit heavy but It's a great fit for me and I love it. As for football, I was a Rams fan as a kid, then they went to St. Louis, Then I move to San Diego in my late 20's, go full in on the Chargers, only to be kicked in teeth by Dean Spanos and NFL once again, So I reclaimed my Sundays, I follow from a distance, all my friends and family have teams, it's in-bedded in our culture but I am free of it. The best ski days I had were during bronco playoff games, seriously, and in So.Cal it will be surf and trail, year round :)
Thanks to all you guys for welcoming in to this this thread - Have a great Week-end.

Hello Tribe,
I hope all are well and enjoying the harvest. My Bangi is just starting to sweeten up after 3 weeks in the sealed jar.

Pops I like to plant by the moon signs. Dubi from Ace claims planting in the sign of Libra is best for herbs and starting on a growing moon is best. I plant with those things i n mind when I can. But as Grandaddy said the best sign is you have the seed, the ground is ready and the old tractor was running.

I'm still sucking at growing the Oaxacan I repotted my clones into pure sunshine mix and now I have instead of a dark green claw I have a light green claw.where the Acapulco Gold in the original hot mix is fine I would chuck the whole works but two of the flowering ones are looking awsome at 14 weeks. I think 16 will do it. Two others are still very sparse and just starting to fill in. I think I will keep the clones from three and toss the others. I will let the longest standing ones finish but they may go 20 weeks and thats just too long and they're too finicky

I lost the ballast for the HPS yesterday the plug where the lamp plugs in just melted. I hung one of the cheap walmart led's in there earlier but it dosen't come close to covering. I have another in veg I may move over there and ordered a Ktaxon 1200 watt also using the dual 5watt chips, the two zimtown units seem fine and growth in the one in flower room is good too. I had hoped to do a side by side test of the HPS and led but I ordered the 1200 for less than a ballast, and It could be the bulb took our the ballast so for now its led's and clamp lights.
Pops I am very interested in the fruity jack is that the one you won in the contest?
Fiddy I'll tune in tonight and raise a glass for the brewers :woohoo:

Greetings friends.

Well Brewers fans it's was a great season and being a few runs in a game 7 away from the WS was an impressive task. While it felt like we were destined to see Milwaukee go to the series this year and it was hard to lose it shows how far this team has come in the last couple years. The Brewers are early in the rebuilding process and will have most of these players again next year to hopefully make another run. I'm already looking forward to spring training.

@rocker. How was your ride brother? I hope all went well. A year ago I was in such bad shape that I would have had a miserable time if I just jumped on a bike and tried to do a proper ride. I needed a few months in the gym working on my legs and cardio before I was in trail ready shape. Just a few months later I'm checking into which classes I should be racing next year. You are so right about morning exercise setting up the day in a great way. I feel that way as well and it also gets the metabolism going first thing for those of us who could stand to loose a pound or two. I'm glad you are motivated to get back out there!

@pop_rocks. I think it's natural to fight with siblings. In evolutionary psychology they talk about siblings in constant competition with each other for resources, be thay attention, food, ect. I think it's also very natural to be protective of them as well. They share out DNA and will help pass it to the next generation. I'm looking forward to seeing why you get popping in your garden.

@Rodehazrd. I have been hearing about the sativas being picky feeders, low yeilding and very slow to finish. Let's hope the smoke is special enough to make up for that. That grow must be a bit frustrating but also a very diffrent experience than your other grows. Life is all about experiences and this might help with future grows.
That sucks about your 1k ballast! I hope your new light outperforms it and runs cooler too. Keep us posted on the 1200!

Jungle update.
It's been way to long since I put up any pics of the jungle so here we go. One of the happy plants in veg and a couple of the flower tent that's getting packed full of buds. Plants in flower showing some deficiencs as mine always seem to but are stacking and gaming weight.

Hello Monday,

Hope you all had a good week-end, don't know about all your area's, but WOW what a gorgeous week-end, I love fall weather.
Fiddynut - Yes a good run, great season but it never makes coming up a little short an easier to take, and Damn, Boston and LA the two highest payrolls, make it to the WS, bummer. Can't wait for spring training, I love the phrase Pitchers & Catchers report. Glad to hear you have made so much progress getting in shape and onto the bike, good for you man, not many are that motivated, and you should be proud of that accomplishment, and now you are a motivating force. I hit a trail I would see from the road and have wanted to try for the longest time, it was not as tough a climb as I thought, going from a valley trail head up and over the damn to the lake, and a ton of fun, I will definitely do it again. I have been going to an occasional spin class, and swimming a bunch at our local gym, and I could tell it paid off. I didn't have to get off and walk once, it is an awesome feeling to climb a hill all the way up. Oh, and the jungle is looking very nice, good times ahead. Below are a couple pictures from my ride. There is one of a guy fishing from a boat, I took that shot with you in mind. It reminded me of a time I was in Rhinelander many years ago.

Poprocks - After I posted, I reread your post and figured out you meant the pedestrian bridge, lol, ya the 15 was built awhile back. I like single track, not a big down hill guy, but I do like going fast at times, the loose gravel was a bit scary this week-end, if I had gotten out early AM it might have had a little more moisture. I was planning on buying a hardtail when I got this bike, (I rode a Costco special with upgrades for years), I let the guy at the local bike shop talk me into this good deal on last years model, lol. I get home and read online, one nightmare story after another about chain suck issues, and sure enough I had em. I frequent the shop a lot, so I was taking it back often complaining, and when I was out in Colorado I was so frustrated by the chain and shifting issue's I swapped out both derailleurs and the shifters, and so glad I did, now I love my bike as I should. The ride went well, fairly busy, but it was Sunday afternoon, felt great and now I am excited to find more trails near by. I was riding my wife's road bike down on the coast along 101, but scary as hell being with cars, I have been buzzed a few times on the road and so I like trails, and no cars much better. I have posted a couple trail pics, and 1 of my bike. FYI, it was just under 4.5 miles from the fruit stand trail head to the parking lot of Hernandez hide-away, no wallet so I just rode on by, lol. Climb up wasn't nearly as tough as I anticipated.
