Female Seeds' NLxBB and Nirvana's Bubblicious

Hey guys, I've been lurkin cannabis forums for awhile.. Decided this was the best place to post, so here I am...
Here we've got two Northern Lights x Big Bud from Female Seeds bank and one Nirvana Bubblicious. I flipped just two days ago, but have lots of female preflowers on both the NL and Bubblicious.
I'm using Fox Farm's Ocean Forest soil [w/ perlite] in 5 gallon pots. Fed FF Grow Big during veg, and now FF Big Bloom & Tiger Bloom during flowering. Vegged under 400watts Fluoro [5x 4' shoplites] and now flowering under 400watt HPS. :joint: :joint: :wave:

keep us updated i just ordered some bubbalicious myself those ladies are looking beautiful....I 'm also using the same soil and nutes .....this thread I'm definatley going to follow....Peace!!

just a little heads up on the nutes... keep using grow big the first 2 wks of flowering...I've found that by doing this your fans will stay green all the way through flowering.....Peace!!!

I think you will be pleased with those seeds. I ran into NO problems with the NL; even with an extreme PH fluctuation that caused the Bubblicious to lock up. None of mine hermed.. yet... A buddy of mine is growin the same strain and his are also very healthy. He did get 2 herms out of his 5, I think it was.. But the reaminders are straight female... I really don't think I'll have a problem with that.. I'll def keep ya posted.. :friends:

werd... I usually feed GrowBig up until the 10th day of flowering. I use a mild feedin versus the aggresive; I read too much N will cause to flower slower. This is my second time growin Bubblicious; the smoke was so nice I had to get it again. :canabis:

Day 7, still feedin mild mixture of Grow Big w/ Big Bloom.
Flushed today.. They really are shootin up...
Hairs are poppin out everywhere w/ one NLxBB under herm suspicion...

The NLxBB I topped seemed to respond pretty well. Slow at first, then shot up all the multi colas. The Bubblicious also responded very well. I left one of the NLxBB not topped so I can compare yields. Ofcourse I'll post that when I harvest :smile:
They are all at about 2 feet. I'm guessing they still have about another week or so of stretching before they get frosty and plump up.

I was thinking of getting the female seeds NL x BB... Shame about the hermie, kinda puts me off a little.. hope the end results are good though, sure they will be..

That's the thing about femmed seed that bothers me somewhat bro. I chose fem seed so I can get rid of the dreaded males. But, replacing them with the more dreaded hermies is to me almost the same thing. Even so, Ima still grow em out. I've got 5 that are germing now. I hope to get a good mother for clones. Gonna try and grow a few of them in my outdoor garden. Hopefully yer just seeing things and ya don't have a hermie. Good luck, and let me know what you think of the quality when dried/cured. Hopefully the NL in the strain will increase the potency. That's my main curiousity. Peace. :canabis: TJ

Fem. seeds are very sensitive to stress and can hermi easily. I know someone who is growin these out and had some herms that he pulled. Now he's left with some straight female NLxBB that he'll be cloning from. It could go either way.
tokinjoe, I'm also very curious to try this smoke. I know the yeild is goin to be great; I'm hopin the high/flavor is just as good.
Norcal Crypt! yeeeeah mang! I'm tellin ya, Nirvana has some quality seeds! You'll love the end product; although, you have some GREAT looking strains in your grow right now! Let's get some pics of your new sprouts....

They have all stopped stretching at about 3 feet. I can see all the buds beginning to frost. I can't wait for them to plump into some fat suggary buuuds.
