Northern Lights x Big Bud










I picked a bud about a week and a half ago. It's been drying and curing. Today I'll sample some.

thanx man. I'm planning to chop the Bubblicious tommorow; I'm interested in comparing the high of some Bubblcious I let go for 60 days. This is defianlty a different pheno, but eh-no harm in givin it a try. I'm a big fan of the hard-hittin indicas, but a nice 'up' high is always good.
How far along are your girls Crypt? I let my Bubbs go 4 weeks before I flipped-how far along are yours? You're gonna definatly wanna top them before flower. They'll get some huge chunky nuggies

Damn sticky things aren't they. Towards the end you can't even move around without them sticking to your arms and clothes. Nice Freakin Job my friend.

Hey what's up Wags? Oh yeah, VERY sticky. Although I'm very anal about touching the buds. I creep my arms through out the jungle as if a snake was guarding this garden of Eden.. but forbidden fruit, it is not. Imagine walking through a forest smelling bubble gum as Mr.Wonka twiddles his flute-then gazing upon the colors of the Northern Lights.. Ok ok ok, so I'm back from the moon.. or shmokin a couple bowls, as some like to call it. The NLxBB definatly has a nice taste. Breaking it up puts your fingers in a sticky situation. It taste what it smells like-very sweet, not like many commercial strains around this area. The exhale was somewhat harsh due to not flushing fully, but the cure definalty makes it smother and sweeter. It's a nice up-head high. You can definatly tell this was a young one. Good no doubt, the finished product will be even better my friends.

I'm chopping the Bubblicious today to compare highs. The NLs will remain in flower for another week and a half or so.

Chopped Bubblicious at 52 days. Buds are fully dried and in the jars. It was about 75% cloudy to 25% clear. We'll see how the high is. Dry weight is 54g for one topped Bubblicious. Nice...

Going well visone.

I wouldn't worry too much about them going hermi. I have 3 skunk special on the go (nearly 6 weeks 12/12) and 2 of them have produced male preflowers. One only produced 1 at the lowest pre flowering internode and hasn't shown anymore signs of being hermi. The other is a bit weirder, it produced 5 or 6 nuts but some of them had pistils emerging from them. I pulled them all anyway but ive never seen a male nut produce pistils before, a true hermi if ive ever seen one.

I too am amazed at how robust the bb x nl are. Nice buds bro. I keep looking at these and trying to imagine what they will look like outdoors. I'll definately do a thread! Fine job Visone.

KalbhairAV, you'll be very impressed with the nl x bb. Be sure you have plenty of room under your lights as these plants will be BIG. And, I found they LOVE the nutes! Good luck and peace. TJ

Thanx guys. I like to get final weight after about 5-7 days of curing. I'll post up with a smoke report. I'm planning to smoke a nice spliff of the Bubblicious to see how the taste/high is in a few days-I'll post up ofcourse.

-cured with Mason jar method-
The final weight for one topped NLxBB was just under 4 ounces! The untopped NLxBB had a mere 2 and half, which was still good. It seemed toppin it helped. The smoke is smooth and the high is excellent. Few of the smaller buds at the bottom had seeds and were kept. The smell is a very familiar dank smell. Fruity and Skunky, mostly skunky. Nice light green...
The Bubblicious, although picked early, had a very hard hittin head high w/ very little body stone. The taste is similar to bubblegum, definatly a different taste/smell than the NL and stickier too. It's very unique, love it.
