I wanted to make sure we had required enough because at the last event more people would have entered but they were short of samples because we had such a huge turnout. Edibles will be about the same number.. 56

How is the judging scorecard for the edibles laid out? Are there categories for types of edibles? It the winner judged based solely upon potency?

We simply vote on the favorite edible judged on most effective, best tasting. I hope we see some of that fabulous cashew brittle that turtlefarmer has brought in the past. Everyone needs to get their entry in by July 3rd with exception of the edibles which can be brought in on the 4th.

so i got to go to the market to day and you know it was awesome! The girls greeted me with a smile! Its nice to be able to go to a medical dispensary and actually engage with other patients about medicine and medical stuff. We all have our reasons for being members of gkg and I think the best perk is the real karma that flows through the air (NoBull also mentioned this today).

What a great turnout at the market. Lots of vendors, good range of stuff from some nice mothers to teens to little baby clones, and lots of variaties. I saw a bunch of nice genetics (GDP, cheese, shrom, purple kush, diesel orange crush and a unch more)

I was llucky enough to pick up a couple "paranomal" which i was told was a bandit strain. I was told it might decide to go crazy on me but im sure if i show it love it will be all right. Supposed to have some real nice purples in that one...i orgetwhat the lineage was Katatonic x ?...help me out UP

The ladies also had some nice clones. Mostly headband and a few others. I got to get a mom of "Odessey" From a fellom member so thats cool, excited to see ow she does, ive heard huuge yeild so im stoked.

also lots of beans all over the place. I was gifting and being gifted lots of stuff. There were also some real nice meds being vended. Some Stomper and Smasher or something like that...It is bomb, good hash flowin too! And GKG also has some real nice meds as always!

Also had a vendor with some edibles that were small but he said they were very potent, which is nice in an edible, not having to smash down a entire giant cookie for a ok dose. I like my edibles pretty compact for when you dont have time to medicate but you need to quick!

Yeah the cup should be fun, i just want to see some entries coming up , i havent seen any yet.

tried to make it today, but failed. i've got another week of crazy ahead of me... then things should begin to settle. just in time for the cup.

I will not be entering anything this time around, but will absolutely be entering Cough (NL5xHaze) or Pineapple Cough in the outdoor cup in the fall.

As always a great turn out for farmers market at GKG, Thank You ladies!!!!. The diversity of everything cannabis is awesome. It is always worth the drive to go to GKG. It was good to meet you theJointedOne. I always learn something new and useful when I am there....Looking forward to the Cup!

Sorry Jointed can't tell you about the lineage, wish I knew, but if it had Katatonic it will be nice.

I was actually thinking about that particular strain today in fact. The 2 katatonic(s) I got from GKG were very low yielding but they did there job and always made me fall asleep in a matter of hours in not sooner. I medicate partially for sleep and found this strain to be next to perfect for that. The draw back was the yield, but the effect coupled with the taste and smell made it so worth it. Katatonic I grew was outdoor all organic and very lightly fed. They came out smelling AND tasting just like sour apple bubble gum, and left an eminating smell of overly sweet apples after it was smoked.

We need people to step up with their entries! We will have best meds.. Indoor & Outdoor catagories.. Best concentrate and best edible.
I am a big advocate of a good strong edible.. a one bite so to speak. I feel that if people are very ill they may be able to eat only one bite and i believe it should be strong enough to give the patient some relief from that one bite. If you have to eat a whole brownie or cookie to feel an effect thats not strong enough... after all its medicine.

I'll be entering my Oriental Express this year. Contacted Rowdy about it. I don't know if I'm going to be able to make the event, but I'm surely going to try. I attended last years event and don't want to miss this years. If I don't make it. There will be some OE for the event.

I'm weighing out some Bangkok Betty also, but I don't think I have enough for the event. If that is the issue. I'll make sure its there for the event and people can sample it. Good luck everyone. Please drive safe and hopefully see you at the event.

We were told that Paranormal is Kryptonite X Afghani , we wrote it down on the tag when we got it from Bandit, but later there was some discussions that the lineage might have been otherwise. We have it as a keeper, regardless & feel it to be a great line!

Also was talking to Rowdy & she said that there were no outdoor entries! So I’m going to enter something in the outdoor, hopping that if I’m the ONLY one, I might be able to finely WIN!! Last time out of three entries I placed FORTH.

Aloha from the Island my friends.

I just wanted to say we hope that everyone has a great Fathers day. The weather is spectacular, sunshine, blue skies and the sound of the waves washing up on the sand make it hard to stay focused,well maybe there is another reason too (the original Shipwreck).

We will be there for the cup, we are so looking forward to it that we already have the raft prepped and stocked for the 3 hour tour.
