Hello to all the gkg family. i have been reading this thread for some time and I have been dying to make it out to the market. This is difficult due to the fact that im 4+ hours away but after months of drooling over all your posts I am finally able to make it out this coming saturday. I'm sooooo looking forward to picking up some babies and beans. Thanks for all who make this possible.

Good for you bro,let me know how your trip goes, im about 6 hours away but im planning to make the trip also! Have a great trip..

I'm about 8.5 hours away and plan on riding the Harley up on the 16th from So.Cal. for the great sounding meds. See you then.

Wow thanks to everyone for all the really positive comments. We really like to think of Good Karma Growers as a little 420 community... not just a dispensary or ordinary "215 collective." I volunteered with a couple of dispensaries here in Lake County a few years back to start the farmers market. Working with the existing dispensaries was really restrictive and came with a bunch of issues.. greed being the biggest one. I grow my own medicine but I am not a "big time commercial grower." My biggest aspiration is acceptability (we're not criminals) and to have a place to go with my own excess medicine. I started Good Karma with the intention of equality of opportunity for all the member growers.
We are currently seeking quality medicine vendors! We have a space waiting for anyone who is seeking a portion of the dream. For a small percentage we provide a safe and legal location to sell your own 420 products on site to your patients. We pay all the overhead.. rent, insurance, utilities and taxes to provide this opportunity to our member growers as well as accepting excess medicine.. from an ounce on up if the grower doesnt wish to vend themselves.

The wife and I are planning a little trip over to your part of the state for our anniversary. Thought we might drop in while we are over that way and meet some of you nice ppl. Just wondering if your collective is open to visitors with their Medical Rec ? Would love to drop in and take a look around :)

This is what truly seperates GKG from the rest. True generosity and compassion and a REAL community and collective support.

Babbas: I hope I can make it when you pass through... I'd really encourage you to try and make it by for a saturday market. That's the day when the heart and soul of GKG is best represented.

nomaad nice new avatar, now thats a nomaad!....i havent been able to make it to a sat market for over a year and i usually end up going in on a random day there open and its always a nice warming place when the ladies are there to greet you!

however i am gonna try and make it this saturday :)

looking for donations of outdoor plants (teens or bigger) if possible for a patients medical garden. We are trying to get a few together, smokes said he will be able to help with one but anybody else is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

also Ill have some more beans to donate for patients needing seeds.

trying to get some oil together for some treats for the edibles category of the cup, mi brethren just made some green crack olive on a 36 hr slow cook :)

edit: well humble makes me want to say hi to bandit even though i dont know the guy i have been sitting with nancy for a while and finnaly threw her outside, thanks for your work, ive heard only good things. and welcome back

2oz entery does that mean 56 judges/testers?


Oh I found it funny that the Hightimes Medical Cannabis Cup this weekend in SF is only a 40 gram entery fee. They need to step it up to our level! Also I'll bet Harborside wins something if not across the board,I was recently notified that in order to enter you would send your entry to their (harborside owned) testing facility with a gas chromatography machine. They are constantly in hightimes magazine and have their links on thier online site. I can see them being the new Greenhouse or Barney's of the west, to which I do not agree.

Sidenote before I go back to studying...I went to HarborSide because I have had 4 these rewards cards for a while and with no income I figured it was the perfect oppertunity to get some new medicine....1 hour later I left with a mere 4 mediorce grams of what they considered topshelf, I considered it bland and frankly bad medicine. Before that I hadn't been there in about a year, I think it will be even longer than that next time, if there even is a next time.


Longstory short:

GKG IS MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE DISPENSARY!
