I heard on NPR the other day that the very simple reason we are watching so many of those shite direct marketing commercials is that other advertisers (car makers etc) have pulled their advertising. the direct marketers have standing agreements with ALL tv stations to take any open air time. they pay a specific very cheap rate and just get filled in. they are getting hooked up now. so buy a snuggie or a sham wow or a pocket fucking fisherman. anybody remember Mike Levy and Amazing Discoeries? the first half hour selling show? he wore sweaters like bill cosby. i remember tripping on acid and watching that crap.

one more MARK YOUR CALENDARS. January 22 on CNBC, the Nations Business Channel----Marijuana Inc. i think at 9 at night. should be bad ass.

I fall for all that T.V. ad crap.....I got myself a Nicer Dicer, some sort a' slicer, a Jack La Lane Juicer, mighty putty, the faraday flashlight and even a Slanket.
Let me tell ya' something, I don't think I could live without any of that sh*t now. That slanket might be the f-ing coolest thing I ever bought.......who doesn't want a huge monk-looking robe/blanket that you can just sit in like a pimp?!
Everyone else can just suck it when you're taking hours choppin' up onions and peppers and all that jazz.......and don't even get me started about the fresh juice bro.....strawberry, apple, watermelon juice! Don't even make me pull out the cantaloupe, honeydew, blackberry concoction!
