Ever smoked a joint of cherry pie?

There is less herm problem when growing outdoor, I had none in my outdoor grows. But I'm sure there is a huge % of the cannabis plants who are able to make male flowers, never underestimate the ability to reproduce when it is the only goal of the plants.

I am aware of all of that. I think it is massively overblown, primarily by breeders looking for an excuse. I've tested light leaks many times, because I never bought that as a reason a plant would turn hermie. None that I tested did. I've had some severe stress events happen, from plants basically dying from Septoria fungus, to deer eating them down to nubs, to major pest infestations... zero herms.

But I don't work with genetics known to produce hermies very often. Well, except for Thai and Chem lines... but no hermies there either.

So, I guess I just disagree.
i noticed feminised seeds are more proned to bananas in the lowers compared to regular seeds. I've had quite a bit of hermie in my years of growing but never male flowers. just bananas and i suspect it is because im running HPS and plants are around 2-3 feet away from the bulb. Heat is the worst stress on a plant is what im guessing. Weird thing is, ever since i started buying clones, i havnt seen any bananas at all. except for cherry pie

If your after some of the best tasting weed Sour Dubble is what you want.
I did get a cut of sour dubb and although she looks exactly like the real deal, even has variegation, she barely had any taste at all. Im thinking lots of mofos are selling S1 as the real cut and keeping the original. like the watered down matt berger bubba kush cut that farmerjoe was selling. Of course he didnt keep it, shes nothing compared to the original but he still sold her as the original that mofo. Hunger for money is a disease that spreads to humans lol

Those last years I've had trouble with seeds getting out of soil with their shell still around the cotyledons and I've damaged or killed a few seedlings when removing it. I don't understand why more seeds are doing this today, I had never had a seed doing this in my first years of growing. As if some seeds can't understand they are out soil and should open by themselves, very strange and frustrating with the price of the seeds today.
I have made some seeds with a very tasty Banana Bubblegum from TH Seeds I had as freebee, she had such a strong smell and taste of banana candy mixed with lime I pollinated her with some Sowahh pollen, I have a female in bloom right now who has the same terpene profile than her mother, I could send you a few seeds if you want for free.
I've seen it happen since i started growing 20 years ago. I place both tip of my thumbs together to stop my middle fingers from pulling up and ripping off the seedling.the center of my thumbs above the top of the seed shell and and use both middle finger nails to pull up both side of the shells. never killed one doing so but did scrape a few with my nails. I find the hardest part is to pull off the seed skin that envelopes the new shoot after you pull out the shell. I usually hold the stem while i pull the skin up. anyways lol

I agree the hardest is not taking off the shell but the small tissue around the cotyledons, I've broken some cotyledons or decapitated a few seeds trying to free them. I don't know if I was doing something different before but it had never happened to me before those last 5 years.

Defiantly not Sour Dubble. She is one of the best tasting plants in the last 20 years. There is no mistaking her. SDUBB IBL is coming. Currently looking through the Sdubb S2 seeds. No easy task, ive been looking for the right selections for over a year now. Many seeds will not have that trait as it is recessive. My DBMH p1 has that terp profile. She breeds well for that. This year I found another that carries that trait in Destiny x Sowahh I like better than DBMH. Destiny is very far removed from Sdubb but still carries the trait. If Sdubb is in the genetics that trait will show up eventually.

Destiny= White Truffle x A5haze x Mac
White Truffle= Gorilla butter f2
Gorilla Butter= Peanut Butter Breath X GG#4
GG#4=Sour Dubb x Chem Sis x Chocolate Diesel

Very far removed lol.

I actually just picked up a Sour Dubb clone from Piff Coast Farms. Met them at an event and was surprised to see that on the clone list. Was going to get the Piff or Cuban Black Haze from them, but as soon as I saw the Sour Dubb I grabbed it.

You can put a drop of water on that membrane and wait a few seconds and it'll slide right off with a little finesse. It can help soften the seed shell itself and make that part easier too.

Some say saliva is good also because of the enzymes or something. Also wouldnt hurt to invest in some tweezers for our precious .

idk, i never really like the taste of anything in a joint anymore... but then i smoke pretty much exclusively for effect.

as long as it doesn't taste like that purple obeah shit (no offense if you like it, js... smells and tastes like absolute shit to me), i will smoke it and see if the fx are what i want.

even if it tastes amazing... if the fx are blah, i move on.

tbh, one of my pet peeves is that people usually spend two hours describing the smell and taste of a strain and then two words to describe the high.

with all that said, i can't imagine a strain getting more raunchy than a sour diesel or chemD or a hybrid of them... but i'll take your word for it.

never tried purple obeah, never even heard of it. Im sure some diesels are amazing but as for chemD, I dont find it to be super tasty compared to others like bubba and cherry pie.

Same, never heard of that one as well. Is that like Purple Punch ?. There's a ton I've not heard of.

Cherry Cookies clone is another one that is super tasty. Well worth looking for.

If its legit you will love it. She isn't super potent but the flavor is excellent. You will smell her all the time lol.

+1 for Cherry Cookies. Delicious flavor. Relentless has the F2 & BX2 packs in stock but the clone was a1.

I'd say the Sour Dubb is legit. Piff Coast Farms has been around for a while and have some solid genetics. Looking forward to running it!

I just looked at your thread. Yesterday you said your plants were still standing so how do you know if any of them is super tasty? Plant smells and plant smoke is 2 different things. I've had strains that didnt smell much but were much more tasty than others with super strong intoxicating smells. I recently purchased an old cut of blueberry from dj short. More sativa dom, super frosty and stinky but the taste just wasnt there. I need to find the indica blueberry dom cut to see if shes better but she is nowhere to be found.
Yes my plants were still standing when I made that post but I also know what to expect from these because I bred them myself and also based on grower feedback (overgrow) from both indoor and outdoor grows in the US and Canada. I've been away hunting for 3 weeks and just got back the other day so didn;t see your post till now. ;)
