I lived in a city once for a couple of years. About 3 miles from the Lake in Chicago and then in the near western suburb of Oak Park. No car, didn't like that at all. Lived in rural corn country ever since.
Why live in the city? is my question. Especially in the USA.

no this is the carbon impact that is brown on the map ... But for example France is green but nuclear trash France made is great pollution !!!
Brown people aren't enough rich to pollute but they catch the pollution of other ; for example Africa which become too hot because rich country consume too muck .

wake up call for all the climate change fanatics...... Climate change is natural and it is a fool's quest to think that humans can stop climate change. It is also a fool's belief that humans are driving climate change.
One volcano erupting on this planet produces more greenhouse gas and toxic material than all of humanity has produced. Now ask yourself how many Volcanos have erupted into the upper atmosphere in your lifetime??
The Climate Change liars are enriching themselves off all the dumb people who think a Carbon Tax is going to stop rising sea levels LOL

the article states foils and cans, which are recyclable and already available as waste.
Gallium on the other hand is expensive. it is also recoverable to reuse, so its expense is spread over however many times (didn't see how many) it can be used.
no free lunches in any method, but this seems promising (has Potential).
smelting anything is an expense. one lb aluminum ingot (pure) goes for about $3.50
aluminum cans are going for .42 cents per lb.

they been talking that stuff since the 60s in one way or another. Just how high has the sea risen? A couple years ago it was all the news in Venice. A couple years before that they deepen the bay to allow the big cruise ships in and adversely affected their tidal conditions causing more flooding.

it takes an idiot to refuse to recognize that we are making it occur more rapidly.
climate change does happen regardless of what we do. we CAN take our foot off of the accelerator and gain more time to adapt. humans weren't around with the dinosaurs, sorry. you still watching the Flintstones? what happened to the dinosaurs shows what nearly over-night (for practical purposes) climate change does. whether you blame the asteroid or the massive volcanic eruptions in Eurasia at about the same time is immaterial. it happened too quickly for them to adapt, so they died. adapt or die...pick one.

If they are announcing this tech to the public NOW, the military has been using it since the 50s. Sure sounds like alien tech to me, if its able to prove our own laws of physics to be wrong.

Humans were wrong all along about what we THINK we know about the "laws" of physics. I mean Sir Isaac Newton lived during the 1600s and wrote with a feather by candlelight. Nobody had any idea about nuclear fusion back then. Maybe our laws of physics still have a few more laws to be added to the list of 'Laws".
The only 100% certain thing is, the governments all around the world are going to force the entire planet to buy it, making a handful of people even richer.
