but in order to find the special one you ahve to run throw a but load of beans. we plan on running hundreds of beasn and then growing them side by side to mommy. once that special one is found is where the real fun begins..imo.

I don't think there's really that much difference between 'elite' clones, and 'non-elite' clones. I was given a Cheese X Yumboldt clone a few months ago, which I'll be harvesting this week, and it is a truly amazing plant, which I'll definitely be keeping, and passing on to others - just over seven weeks in soil. But when I got it, I was struggling to fit it in, and nearly gave it away. Even so, even if I had, there'll always be another around the corner.

None of them are...pssst...'elites', it's more just a case of 'fancy trying this one out?' But they're easily as good as any of the 'elites'. I've smoked stuff here in my home town that was as strong as any of the kushes, and just as tasty.

Really, there's so many potentially great strains out there, getting hung up on the few that aren't easily available isn't worth the time. Better still, make your own 'elite' cut...that's what I'm working on...

Pass it here. Alot of ppl , like me, live in places that are thousands of miles away from Dope states, or med states. Really hard to get or find clones. Wish there was more seed too. Rez did it this year , but they all went too fast, Good business move. If someone wants to make BIG bucks, just get some Elites and get seedin. You could buy a house.

So is it your plan to run a shitload of selfed seeds to find males and females from the S1 generation to start the stabilization process, or are you going to self the female S1 seeds that resemble the clone to make S2 and so on?

I had a ghani that I gurantee ANY of you was as good if not better than some of these elites. Problem is I lost it...and cant get it. But it came from BAGSEED! Killer Afghan plants...crazy dense nuggets, that would stone you in 2 tokes and blow your lungs out with a awesome hashy flavor expansion. Mannnnnnnnn I miss that one. S1s are for what MysterX is doing,selecting from a Very Large Population,in hopes ( I repeat,HOPES) of finding a (like but superior) Mother.
I could give you a simple recipe for capturing the superior traits of elites that we're all so fond of,in the progeny,it's really not that difficult,but that'd leave me out of business.... :smile:

dont really know about the abusive, but whats the problem with the 'original diesel'? its not an s1 by any means, it was made by a guy named 'weasel' (i believe) and is '91 chemdawg x (mass super skunk x sensi's northern lights). and the one ive seen around is the original...

sounds like the one you are describing is the real deal but there's another "Original diesel" going around that came with the abusive cut that is not.doesn't taste like diesel like the Abusive doesn't taste like og. Just wated to give a heads up. peace
