The AJ cut below at harvest. I don't think this is the cut that everyone raves about when they talk about ECSD.

Yeah that’s the AJ alright. It’s pretty much the same thing but it’s lacking something that the ecsd has. The ecsd has that raw power and the funk is a little more pronounced. The AJ smokes great but I was building up a tolerance a zip into smoking it. You really dialed that one in though. That’s pristine looking AJ sour my boy. Good job.

I been searching for a propa diesel finally got my hands on an ecsd supposedly the chaco cut an low an behold as much as it looks a little sour it falls way short cant be the real deal straight bland no sourness at all had high hopes as I got a sssdh from the same place and that's straight fire

If you haven't dialed it in for a bit, don't give up on it yet. Little things make ecsd not grow to it's full potential. Heat, especially, ime.

Yeah agree. Diesel genes dislike Heat and prefer a low N high K diet past halve way flower. Makes for less tong like litle leafes and tighter buds.

Heat sensitive to the max on sour man. I spoke with AJ about it and asked if it’s always been like that, since I noticed my fall and winter crops were coming out proper but once it got to the end of spring and summer she would just be tired and hard to get to put on weight, it seemed tired.

He said it’s always been that way and he’s always tried to time his harvests to the seasons. In NYC he would say his garbage batches were always the summer and early fall crops. Everyone always wanted the March-may packs.

Just pulled down an original sour. Forgot to snap a pic before harvest(10 hours in on harvesting before I got to her=tired). But whew, she stood out in scrog of mainly gmo. Went about 80 days this time, and the funk on her is twice as strong compared to only running her 70 to 75 days. Ill go grab a pic now, hopefully shes not too limp yet. Had a successful pollination with Dj's f4 bb stud too!
