add some cottonseed meal to your mexican bat guano CC and thank me later
cottonseed meal has a medium N number 0 p 0 k and is VERY slow release so it makes for an excellent top dress for soil, mixed with your bat guano im sure itwill put you in the perfect range
I did what I had to do last night... Mixed some mexiguano and 5-5-5 with mychorrizae fungus and other biological stimulators into some Pro-Mix, then I top-dressed and watered just before lights out (to give the mix time to remain wet for faster release).
This AM they're already starting to show signs of greening. I don't want to add anything long-lasting, just enough to get us through the next 2 weeks, then the Nitrogen will probably be eliminated completely.
High CC Just wondering what indicators do you go by when you say nitrogen def?
I know the yellowing but i thought I read where you mentioned that the purpleing in the stems was a indicator also. Just trying to gain all the knowledge I can, Always searching.
Sweet grow Bro
Yeah, the purpling in the stems on otherwise healthy plants IS a good way to tell that a plant could use a shot on N. Thing is... Nitrogen evaporates from the soil if it's not used by the plant first - so N needs to be replaced more often than the others. That's why a 10-2-1 is ideal for correcting N def, while not adding too much of the stuff that DOESN'T evaporate, P and K. If we keep adding our 6-3-3, the plants and evaporation may get rid of the Nitrogen before the other elements ae used up, therefore, it's easy to start toxifying the soil with the 6-3-3 because the 3-3 part keeps on building in the soil, while the Nitrogen is being eaten up or evaporates relatively quickly. That's what the high N, slow release top-dressing is for. If the top-dressing has too much nutrient content left in it by harvest time, you can simply scrape the top-dressing off and effectively remove the plant's source of food.
Here's the room right now... The Nitrogen levels dip very quickly with voracious bitches like these. They eat and eat and eat! I can't believe how much they've eaten already. I've gone through more than a litre of Earth Juice Grow already! And a litre of bloom as well... I just had to go get a gallon of each in anticipation of the rest of the flowering cycle!
Same thing happended to me in San Diego years ago, aprtying with some young uns. They passed the joint, twice. I woke up about ten minutes lateron the floor totally stoned. I gave the dude a $100 for some weed and went home embarassed but happy. Still lookin for something like that. White Widow is good, but not that quick. Now I smoke laying down whenever I am not sure. LOL Pass that ECSD!
CC actually, I believe the mother I have was the offspring of stray pollen impregnating a ECSD. take a look tho, my thread is just about right under yours. When the one I have is finished and vaporized, all one can taste is pink lemonade, and it literally lasts for about 30-45 minutes on the sides of your tongue towards the back part. It may not be THE ECSD, but is very nice in it's own right.
