I'm honored to have you all here, and to hear your nice words. :) I hope everyone will get to try FFA someday. I'm not saying it's THE best weed there is, because I don't think any weed is THE best weed. But it's certainly a favorite of mine.

Now, if only the photo upload feature would start working again. Been a few days for me too. I have a couple more pics of Sour D and FFA that I think would be valuable to this thread that I'd like to share. :)

Anyone remember this Sharon Widow? She variegated BIG TIME. I never saw a plant so strikingly variegated. Some of the pics I took of this bud were so cool, I saved them for about 2 years just to be published in High Times. They're still not published, but I'm trying to figure out an excuse to use them.

The totally white bud smoked soooo good. No chlorophyll means no green taste, and less harshness in the smoke. It was really interesting. I smoked it with my friend, Stinkymutt. It was quite an experience.

A TRULY WHITE White Widow! Whodathunkit!?

Looking great CC! Those chlorophyll-less plants must be an interesting smoke, was that an environmental response or genetics? Hopefully we'll get to see some updates on that ffa and s.d. soon... AND that WHITE. The white and ffa are some of my favorite smoke and oh yeah that SHIRE :) It's great to see plants growing to their full potential and that seems to be all I see coming out of your garden! Much love and respect, peace

GP, I dunno about that... I now some nursery/landscape plants are veriegated because the grower took a cutting from the variegated branch, and all the subsequent plants were also variegated. I don't know what caused it in this specimen... I never saw this happen in Sharon before... or any plant for that matter. Chemdog D gets a very slight variegation on the leaves, but NOTHING like this one.

blessed, I can't wait to flower the White either! :) Joe gave me some White at the Nugs and jugs to take home and burn up. I was very impressed with it, no doubt. Now, if she yields well enough, we MIGHT have a keeper here! It might be a cool plant to breed with, too. ;)

KindBudKid, Kewl, you got the FFA! hehehe Congrats. You'll like her. Very fun to grow. As far as the Cali-o, no I never got any really promising leads on it. But I've been hearing it's not all that? Just orangy mediocrity? hehehe Maybe I heard wrong.

Dr Snow, I don't know what caused this response in the Sharon Widow that time. It was a one time only appearance, and I have still not heard of anyone else having the same thing happen with their Sharons. Strange. I sent some KILLER pics of that plant over the High Times for use. They were just too cool to NOT print in the mag... which means the online communities haven't seen them yet. There's a pic of a joint about to be spun up with all white bud. Really cool pics. There's also pictures of the all white bud close-up, etc.

The white bud smoked like you'd think... tasted like Sharon without any green in it. SMOOTH. My friend Stinkymutt was here to help me smoke it. He was BLASTED!!! hehehe That was the second time he smoked with me. :)

Thanks for stopping by, guys!

CC-gonna put up a couple pics of my FFA tonight. she is at just 15 or 16 days, at that stage where you look at her when the lights come on, then 6 hours later you go into room, and they have visibly swelled! trichs already showing up. love the light lime green coloration of the leaves-eating up the organic ferts a lil better then the chem d i think. got some discoloration on my chem d leaves that did not show up on FFA. very excited man.

Chopped my FFA this past Saturday. Hung her to dry in a room I normally don't use for such purposes and left for about a hour. Came home and was greeted by a surprisingly skunky, fruity muskiness that had permeated the entire house!!! I was more than pleased with it....but the wife wasn't quite as thrilled, hehe

White Sharon.....

White Sharon.....

YES I WAS ....lol that was a very odd bud indeed Crazy . Tasted great and deff. did not lack any power . My FFA is just starting to flower up . Looks a whole lot like ECSD but without the skyward reach . I have to laugh at Resin , funny how those things happen ha. My wife wont let me smoke kali Mist inside ? She says it has a very distinct odor , one she does not like (she dont smoke mj ) . So anyway things look great CC , dont smoke all the c99 on me !
Peace all
