Easiest way to make hash! Quick Wash ISO!

just to clear things up on how to avoid sticky icky hard to work w/ hash oil...... (called it hash at begining of thread for ease of understandance)

it depends on how long the material is in contact w/ the alcohol........

i only shake for 20 seconds and pour and squeese to filter as fast as possible! thus getting that golden brown flaky stuff that i roll into a ball and gets dark......

don't know how it got up to 90-200 seconds

i would suggest that nobody rinse for longer then 25-30 seconds........ but the less time the material is in contact w/ the alcohol = the better.......

i would recomend everybody to try an experiment.........

make one wash at say 20 seconds......... and next wash 5-10 more....... say at 25-30? see wich you like better!

i wanted/want to make bho for a while now.......... only that we are talking about flamable gas,,,,, or liquid butane? as a solvent.........

if it was'nt for the danger and nosy neighbors out back i would have made some a while ago..........

G33k Speak- how is the final product in bho compared to iso? potency, taste, texture?

I've only ran ISO a couple times, but to tell you the truth MM, I think BHO is an easier process. And IMO BHO beats out ISO in taste and high...I feel the product you get with bho is a closer and more accurate representation of your starting material. Believe that bho is a better solvent in terms of extracting the "good" terpenes/plant waxes/whatever to get a tasty and smooth final product.

If you're able to do it outside, I'd say the danger factor is about 0. My only tip is to do a lonnggg, low-heat purge which will get all the last traces of butane out and leave you with a rock-hard product that is easy to work with. Good butane+good purge=damn tasty oil.

Here is some Honey Oil I made using a cold wash Iso method. The bud used was a strain called Sour Slut. (ecsd x space queen)





This was some potent, amazing SOUR tasting oil...... ........especially when vaped.

the ninja from og had a huge thread here right?. several pages of info... maj pothead you do 90 secs? wow that still pretty long..if i do 90 my shits green as hell. yours looks spot on though. i usually do 30 seconds that includes the pour shake and strain....

I just did my first run with ISO, turned out great! I did a 30sec wash with a mix of leftovers which yielded blond fluffy, light brown and a little dark brown oils. The onset of the high is very quick with a mild hash taste. I have all gas heat/cooking at my house so i had to boil water a few time and then put the pyrex on top to purge. Also, I skipped the paper coffee filter and just used my gold mesh filter. This method is very friendly to first-timers. I ended up yielding about half a gram or so eyeballed.

Proper Ventilation is a must!!!! It doesn't take much to fill up the whole house.

I read this entire thread, I'm still a little confused over shake times with 91% iso mix. I've heard 20 second shakes, 5 second shakes, and just pouring iso through the trim in a coffee filter. How long total should the iso be mixed with the trim?

Hi i made a thread asking difference between differents extracts here


i use medical/pharmacy 90% ethylic alcohol so 10% water ^^
1 L cost ~10 Euros (4*250 ml... and sometimes it's 125 ml bottles)
A green color apprears progressively until its max after ~12 hours mix.
This give a dark green product (first pic).
My actual method is 15 mn mix and 30-1 hour minutes dry (using 2 cpu fan on the plate)

I made some beut hash and it is nice and black and malleable... only problem is my ISO has been tainted with some horrible smelling antibacterial shit. My hashish smells like air freshener and i sure aint smoking any!

Nevermind. Just need to track down some pure alcohol... not so easy on Oz
