Hello dyr and others!

This is my first post here, but i have been lurking and learning on a forum for some time.

Im an outdoor grower from 46 N latitude. Last years harvest was a bit late for me (middle october); got GHS Big Bang. This year i wanted something earlier so i orderd some Typhoon seeds :canabis:. I bought them from Zenseeds.

I will be of course growing Typhoons down here at 46 nl so i suppose early start and finish of flowering. Do any of you have eany experience with growing Typhoon this south?

I sprouted my seeds 1.may. They are around 20 cm at the moment :watchplant: and i have just transplanted them from my balcony to outdoor (guerilla style). Sorry i cant post photos yet, maybe later.

Thanks guys, good work :good:!

It sounds like they got a good start dugacki  you can probably harvest in August with thyphoon down there with a little luck, they might start flowering soon and then they will not be so big I think. You should also be on the look out for hermies, I hate to say that but we remove some every year, and there has been reports of such kind :frown: but mostly the reports also say good things :)

Peace y'all

Thanks for the info dyr!

I am not sure how will Typhoon respond to toping of FIM becouse of the short vegetative period at 46 nl, but im goning to try it on a few plants. I will also making som crosses with some of the other strains i have so i will have seeds for next year. I was thinking of using a strong typhoon male (not the earliest) and trowing som pollen on my other females.
Thanks for the heads up on the hermies i saw Dödsknark mention on his tread he had one. Not too concerned becouse his other plants were excelent.

Anyway im very curious how typhoon, which was bred for denmark cilmate, will preform down here. So i will post results, im sure someone will find the info usefull.

tx again

Thanks elmanito :)

It came to Denmark 30 years ago with some hash from kashmir, and it has been grown here ever since, but I think they were crossed with something, can't remember what though.

Thanks esbe :)

Today we vistited 4 spots, the Hindu kush spot and the 3 Thyphoon spots, so there's many pics, and I'm just gonna show some ;)

First we went to the new small thyphoon spot, all was looking good so we didn't plant any here, but we did remove other plants around them:

Big thypoon spot looks awesome!

Are all those plants from seeds that you threw(you actually just throw them?) this year, or selfplants from last year too?

Two questions in one sentence......

Hey elmanito and Bom

We don't know about the mold resistans and potency because we have never grown the kashmir before, it is 1 strain we call kashmir ;)

On the big Thyphoon spot we haven't planted out any this year, just threw many seeds around there, and then cultivated the soil to get some of them under ground. Maybe there are also selfplanted among them, impossible to tell them apart ;)

 Are you gonna grow this strain for seeds also, cuz it would be interesting if it is a very mold resistant one.

Namaste :plant grow: :canabis:

Finally found your thread :)

Can't give you any advice since you got it all covered. Things are looking really good. Are you gonna seed all spots or going for some seedless this year?

Best of luck!
