thanks friends :)

LBH I think you are right it is because of the seeds ;)

A few days ago Tanska took some pics with the old cam, and here is the result ;D these last leftovers yielded quite well as you can see:

Thanks :) seed production causes smaller buds with most strains I think because they need all their energy to ripen the seeds ;)

First eirdbei spot A from Oct. 2. most of this has been harvested:

Then the Hindu kush spot also from Oct. 2. finally Flowering on them :D both males and females are clearly showing, we believe now for a pollen and weed harvest later, maybe maybe seeds, atleast we hope ;)

Thanks Fluke  the ones in my previous post; Hindu kush, are from kiwi seeds who sell them here on Icmag/SB. ;) They are for indoor/greenhouse, hehe, but they also have a few qualities when it comes to outdoor growing in Denmark :D

Now for the absolutely last update with the Kashmir spot from today, this (Danish) strain has many hermies but they dont seem to produce any seeds at all, atleast only very very few. We have only seen 3 seeds in all our kashmirs so far and there could be more but the buds looked seedless also today.

Hello dyr :)
Nice harvest dude!
But I'm wondering something...
Apparently, most of your plants were pregnant, making seeds. Can I ask why?
I mean, I know why do guys make seeds, but why always the whole plant?
You're making hash out of the seeded buds? Did you harvest any "sensimilia" this year?
Anyway man, beautiful grow, like every year!!
Keep up the good work :)

Peace :rasta:

Thanks Bom and Haxi  It's easier and more natural to make seeds on the hole plant. Yes to the hash part and no to the sinsemilla part ;)

Eirdbei harvest 18th of October, everything harvested now, exept hindu kush ;)

nice thread! Really like the way you grow with almost just throwing seeds. I see you sow in late march, wonder when your last frost date is? And can you sow that early with other strains also or just thypoon? Interesting to se quite tall plants soo early. Want to grow very similar this year...

with your lat and name I guess you are Norwegian, you shouldnt try sowing directly in soil outside until april the earliest, preferably around may....I've done it with thypoon and had like 90% sprout....I sowed them around 1.june though, should have sowed them about 1-10th of may since they were about a week or two off getting finished properly (took them down around 18th sept)

Listen to Puffster Henrik, he is also latitude 60 ;)
Our last frost date I think is in May but not every year. Yes we sow in March, sometimes they even germ in March but they don't grow much untill mid to late April.

In addition to what puffster said; don't do it unless you got enough seeds, and if possible don't do it that way with all your seeds, also sow some in pots and plant out and do it different times and on different locations. Then your chances for success increaces.

I think you can do it with all strains afterall it is their natural way to do it ;)

Thanks for the response! Yes, you are right puffster, hadde jeg vaert nasjonalist hadde jeg sagt kjaere landsvenn, men foeler meg mer komfortabel med kjaere verdens venn, hehe... Som thor heyerdahl sa saa fint, Jeg har aldri sett noen grenser, men hoert de finnes i visse folks hoder.

Are also going to do some pots, have some trees for the sensimilla, want most seeds here too;)
Well I also did it last year with another strain, UK08, but it didnt get ripe. Sowed late april, harvested first or second week in october. Have heard a other grower having trouble with flowering that one i norway too...
Any experience in finish time if you start in side and plant out, or the easy throwing method? Any difference? Heard it with other plants that it can change. So maybe thats was were it failed...

Plan on throwing the seed in the easter some time.. Last year, the last frost date for me was before the date im planning on..But every year is different..

Have a goodnight everyone!

Nice to see some others at 60 north growing weed(myself also 60 north)! I´ve also bought UK08 to grow this year and i have heard people grow that with succes ? How many weeks do you thought it had left to be ripe ? Anyway i hope my will be ready in the middle of September, if it dont i have always other strains that will be ready(i hope). . . I will follow this thread to see what my brothers are doing. . . Lycka till Norske gutter eller vad man nu säger ?

hei, chrille grows.
Some of them got to swell maybe a week, some didnt swell, but I got lots of flowers, soo you will absolutely get flowers! They are quite nice too, so Im going too grow a few this year also, are going have some seedruns just to acclimatize it to my microclima and growing methods. When i can get it ripe all the way, like I have done indoors, mmmm... Actually just smoked one 10min ago, almost every thing I have smoked since october and its still does the trick every day!

Maybe I just had some late phenoes, im not sure because its doing great in denmark.

Good luck!

Strains I can personally recommend from my own experience and talking with other 60n growers:

Thypoon
Purple Thypoon
Carpatian
Henkes lolland
gg#2
Nepal (the one from dyr and tanska, not oldfarmers)
Early Dane (hard to come by)
auto lothse (hard to come by)

also finnish strains like northern sun\ pehkuruder \ ovela rastaja etc. will work.

without doubt the most hardy, sow and forget strain I've tried yet is thypoon from Dyr and Tanska though...even in this arctic climate you can basicly just find a heap of soil...throw the seeds randomly around and come back 10-15days later and guess what - almost all have sprouted :)
