Your set up is looking so cool and very stealth. Can't wait to see the finished product.

Damn you could make money selling that set up honey.

Hi everyone. HotC, you were right--no 150Watt at Home Depot. The cab has survived the scrutiny of the family even without drawers in it yet. Nobody has even asked why the drawer space should be so shallow and what's happening with the wasted space inside. Suppose it just doesn't occur to people. . .

I'll be making drawers tomorrow.

Got the fish today. With the little aquarium pump going up top, there's no way you'll hear the fans.

Okay, it's happened. I was asked why the drawers were so shallow and I spilled the beans right away. The wife said she was super angry, but was quite cheerful a second later, so i'm assuming she's really impressed. The condition: if the kids find it, she'll destroy it. fair enough.

Here it is with drawers.

Looks like an overly big box under a table top, doesn't it? After I paint it up, it shouldn't stick out too badly. Notice the stealthy fish on top, noisy air bubbles will cover fan noise and any organicy smells i'll blame on him, too. His name is Armando.

if you wanted to do dwc you could split the fish tank pump hose right into your desk so it runs both.

The kids actually feed the fish morning and nights. I'm confident they can't/won't figure it out.

Clear caulking leaks light at the seams. Re-did inside seems with black caulk tonight. Intalled elbow tubes underneath. Put a vent cover on the back which really seemed to cut down the breeze coming out of it. Lights and fan are on now for a temperature check. As soon as it's okay, i got one seedling (out of 5 seeds! boo hoo!) ready to go in.

Okay, got the final tweeks all sorted out. Installed the carbon scrubber and the light and a chamber fan all in the flower chamber today. Here's a grainy pic:

here's without the light:

The light baffle isn't in. You can see the bottom is painted black, as well as the insides of the elbow tubes leading out of the bottom. The bottom of the light baffle is also painted black. No light gets out the bottom!

You can see the scrubber takes up quite a bit of head room. My light won't go any higher than it is in the pic. I'll only have 8 inches for budlys. Hm. Might have to get lower pots or futz with the light hood to make it more compact to get it higher.

Used black caulk on all the little light leaks. I fucking hate black caulk. Works, though.

You can see also that the utility chamber is a bit too full of shit. This restricts the air flow a bit and wasn't a temp problem until the flower chamber light next door warmed things up a bit.

Got some seeds, one seedling sprouted (Northern Lights), but I think it's time to put in another seed order. I'm thinking B52, Jack Flash, or Bubblegum. What do you all think?

G'night,

Duggy, looks like you put alot of time into that setup. Great job. That's very stealth, innovative and original. When are you planning on popping some seeds?

pity about the headroom in the flower cab duggy, perhaps you could have one tray/bed at the bottom of it and just flower lots of clones taken from mom plants in the veg box, SOG style. i think that'd be the best way to maximise yield in the small space you have.
