1. "Honest communication is everything, without that you are in big trouble."
Honest communication requires intelligent comprehension and good judgment from both parties. Oh and beware of the constantly changing EMOTIONS:yoinks:

I second the nuclear option. I would treat everything as suspect and replace/disinfect everything. It sounds like you know how to deal with it, so it's just a matter of elbow grease at this point! I bet by this time next week you will have it looking like a newly minted grow room

Two things I've learned about women:
1. Honest communication is everything, without that you are in big trouble.
2. Good women are hard to find, and even harder to get rid of!
All jokes aside I wish you the best with mending things between you and the other half. Tend to her like you tend to your plants and you can't lose.

End of next week? Lol knowing DT, by the end of business hours today :)

So I have things cleaned up a lot. In the growing area's anyways. And true to form I will be trying to do it with the least amount of economic taxing as possible. Part of the pm problem was the intakes. Every single one(there's 3 of them) had the wrong type of filter and they were plugged almost 100%. The spots that weren't plugged, were wide up , unrestricted air flow. Anything , mold, any type spores was going into the room.

So first thing I did was get a filter that catches mold spores. Cut pieces to fit the intakes, and put them into place. Next I took a handheld pump sprayer and filled it with bleach water. At a ratio of 1 cup of bleach to a gallon of water. So far I've went thru 2 gallons of that water , spraying down everything.

See one thing is. I'm doing this rehab with about no money. I'm on unemployment until August, and it's not that great. So a few gallons of bleach, some 91% iso, and a gallon or two of killz flat white paint is about the extent of my budget. Granted it's the old man's spot, and he should be paying. Thing with him is he's addicted to online shopping. So he's always in debt. And with the grow sucking like it does, he's not making much per month from it.

I mean he will buy some things that are necessary. But he's from the old school. So getting him to buy the grow specific chem's for cleaning is pretty much a no-go. It took me these past 10 years for him to finally understand going nuclear with no-pest strips was the only way to get rid of the mites. Which are now dead from what I've been seeing these past couple days.

I'm gonna take some of the filter I have. Cut some pieces and see if I can get them in the dehuey's. If I can work that, I can effectively filter the air in the basement and hopefully remove any remaining spores. Of course a carbon filter and fan sitting on the floor with that filter on it will work too.

Glad to hear your smashing the problems brother

I did spray with green cure. Couple applications and I should have the pm under control. Clean the fans and get some real good airflow. Then to my dismay, I'm gonna flower the big mothers he has. Get them out of the way. Then start some new moms with some clean clones.

I'm gonna bring 3 plants from my grow there in the next day or so. Gonna put one in each veg location(yes I have 3 separate veg locals) . Then if they stay clean for a week or so, I'll know it's game time.

To those worrying about those wood shelves in the mother room. A lot of that stuff is gonna be removed. It was added on by people who didn't know what they were doing. Instead of changing out broken light fixtures and/or bulbs. They would add new shelves and lights. So remove that stuff and give the stuff I originally built a nice coat of paint, and good to go(already been cleaned with bleach).

Next step is to start on the flower room. He's got a batch coming out this weekend. So once that comes out, maybe even before. I'm gonna take those 7 plants under the 2k in the back of the room, and put them up in the front, with a batch a few weeks ahead of it.

Then I'll be able to clean the floor, walls, lights on the back side. One hood is totally fucked with about 100lbs of tape on it. Well he has a brand new 1000w set-up. So that will go up, and jacked up one will come down. Then I can flip his big mom's. Get them gone and make some mom's of some good shit.

Thing with that plan is I'll be able to clean the front of the room and still have plants flowering in the back. Not ideal, but this way there will be no down time. I won't be talking any of the smoke from these next 3 batches anyways. It's all his shit, that is essentially shit anyways. Severely overfed, mite infested and some has pm. I'm hoping by September I can have my first harvest of "normal weed" .

In the mean time, I'll still be doing my own thing. Gonna reload one side of flower in like a week. Then that wil be it for here. Two more crops and by that time I should have one ready to come down at old man's.

It was said once before - but I'll repeat it - make sure to take a change of clothes - and shower, before going from that grow to any other grow location or else you WILL be carrying those plagues with you to your clean sites.

I'd also suggest looking at plants surrounding the house - outside - that might be potential PM magnets or be favorable to mites, etc. Removing those types of plants from close to the home can make a HUGE difference in controlling a more remote indoor room.

I’m always worried about that kinda stuff in the summertime. I worry sometimes that I may bring in unwanted guests after walking around in the yard or what not.
I remember a few years ago the tomatoes plants along the side of the house were infested with some sort of mite really bad.
I’ve had mites one time, years ago. I never found out for sure how I got them but I suspected they came from a bag of fox farm soil. (If that’s even possible)...!!!...

@DTOG, glad your getting it squared away...!!!... ur gonna be a bizzy man the next few months...

Done and done. When I get home from the old man's. I change my clothes. Hat and all. Then have my wife spray me down with 91% iso, even my hair. I wash my hands/arms with soap and then bath them down with 91% iso. Different pair of shoes and everything.

This is not my first time keeping the pest at one grow out of another. Few years back I was taking care of two decent outdoor plots, plus the indoor at my old mans. Managed to keep the mites at the old mans, and none of the other grows were affected. Shit even at the old man's in the past, Thje mother room shares a wall with the flower room. No matter how bad the mites got in the flower room. I managed to keep them out of the mother room and my other veg area's.

Picked out some seeds to pop. The People Under the Stairs seeds are testers, so they'll all get popped. The Williams Wonder F4's are all getting popped too. In hopes of finding a plant like I had when I first started growing.
