Naw mang , no shrink for them. A lot of them are prolly gonna go the way of Ole' Yeller. Taken out back and a .22 shell behind the ear. Trust me when I say I wanted to kill everything and start over. Old man wasn't having that. He's so set in his way's. So I obliged him. Gonna keep a few of the ones he wants to keep......for now anyway.

Here's what a tray of vegging plants looked like for these people. See the tag's ? HSO's Blue Dream seed, I popped right before I walked away last time.

Then they have been cloning mothers like these. And sending the clones out with pm all over them.

Now this is the flower room. This is gonna be the real chore of the whole thing. So much cleaning to do. Things to remove and rearrange. Ductwork I need to remove, some I need to readjust how it's set-up.

Couple good things though. A new Co2 genny and autopilot controller for it. Brand new 1000 watt lights with hoods and ballasts still in boxes. Also some brand new digital intermatic timers that can handle 40A each. There's 2 of them. So the heavy elec work is already out of the way.

The door to get into the flower room is right off to the right of this pic.

picture.php

They have the fucking tables going the opposite direction of the lights !!! Like they sit plants in that far table, and they start out in the shade ! Like WTF !!! ( I was yelling that outloud to myself in there) .

This table is directly behind where I was standing for the previous pic. They have 7 small ass dinky plants sitting under 2K!!

picture.php

Here's a pic of standing in the doorway. See that 600w in a cooltube ? They weren't getting the results they wanted. So the solution was to throw more light at them.

picture.php

This is their idea of removing dead mite infested leaves. A fucking 5 gal pail sitting right in the flower room, on the floor.

Here's some of the plants in flower. First up is the very first SLH seed I popped like 7-8 years ago.

Another SLH(same pheno)

This is a 24KT from DNA. Also got these when the very first drop hit. While they were still only calling it 24KT(no Kosher Tangie name yet or vice-versa)

This is what I'm almost positive is Cali Connect GSC#1, but got labeled as Glue by whoever.

I'm happy for you bro, the room is nasty but still looking promising.

I feel you on the hard work planned to sort out the varieties and clean all the mess before getting your mothers in a safe environment, so good luck...

Make this grow space great again !

Rooms like this is why I prefer to grow my own weed. LOL. What a mess!!!

It'll be in tip top shape in no time I'm sure! The Bunny Ranch just became a dive bar, but that's all good! Looking forward to watching you turn this around.

This won't be the first time I've had to turn this room around. Before I left this last time. About a year or less before I had walked away. Only for a few months. In that time, the pm and mites got out of control. I got everything almost back to normal. Was still fighting the mites(before I knew about the no pest strips). But had some decent harvests.

I can only imagine the poison flowers he's been moving though. Yesterday I found a gallon jug of Abamectin and a gallon jug of Florimite. Then saw the pump sprayers with corresponding lables. So that shit will be coming to an end. He did get a bottle of Green Cleaner which is mostly organic, with pyetherins in it. Gallon jug of neem oil as well. Which I won't be using that either.

Good luck with your family situation and believe me I know how tough that can be. I split with my wife after 22 years of marriage. It worked out for the best in the long run but it was tough while it was happening. Fortunately my daughter was in her senior year of college and was practically out of the house and all grown up. That made it a little easier.
Brother you do have a damn mess at your Dad's place. It shows the guys taking care of it had no respect for the plants or the safety of the people who were buying their buds. That's a sin in my book. Good thing you are there to take care of things.
Best of luck and I wish I was there to help you clean that place. I'm kind of clean freak and those photos made me want to grab a pail, a scrub brush and a bottle of bleach.

Plants that have been fed adequate calcium and silica are very unlikely to be affected by pests/disease because the leaf cells become so strong and resistant, looks like a combination of poor nutrition and environment.

Powdery mildew thrives in environments with stagnant air/moisture as most know already but Slownickel explained awhile ago fluctuating RH% is also a cause. The PH on the leaf surface needs to be acidic for it to populate as well, potassium bicarbonate foliar to raise the leaf surface PH makes leaves inhospitable to the PM. Should help alot in the meantime while you get the veg area feed and intake/exhaust/humidity situated.

Diatomaceous earth would be great for the pests and powdery mildew also, spread it all around the rooms where it can stay dry and forget about it for the pests. Can be applied as foliar spray also and will work well against both pests, powdery mildew and other potential infections (info in the silicon thread in my signature).

100% agree with frank... why do i (or you) grow my (your) own?

that shit is outrageous.

id reduce that room to trays of cuts. but with p/m, and the severity of it in that space, (strictly IMHO) i would trash it all.

those mothers are fucked. PM is inside the plant before it manifests what you see on the plant's surface. i feel like that entire op is garbagio, cuts to flowers to panda plastic to everything, with lights that are too big for the space given the height. & the set up, in areas, looks electric fire type dangerous to me.

even those wood shelves holding spores. fuck it all. get that green dumpster bag from the depot and load it up. fuck, box of 3mm contractor bags fix that space real quick. garbage day should be bags like soldiers lined up on the street.

you electric savvy, make sure you go over everything since you havent been there in ages.

Just my 2 scents but you could not pay me to move my collection there without first killing all the pm plants and doing some serious multiple cleanups.

Reminds me why I cringe when someone says they want me to look at their failing garden.

Your gonna want some changes of cloths for when you go home after you start cleaning.

My heart is skipping a beat scrolling though these and I wish you best of luck and all the positive energy. I can't see keeping any of those plants, certainly not anything in flower, and maybe only quarantining cherished cuts, but that is pretty iffy. Gonna need a lot of black contractor bags and bleach. I would cook that whole place to 130F+ for awhile too if you can. After a nuclear amount of bleach a few layers of kils antimicrobial paint or equivalent on every surface wouldn't be a bad idea.

I can't agree more with Ibechillin and his statement about adequate calcium uptake.
Plants that have been fed adequate calcium and silica and very unlikely to be affected by pests/disease because the leaf cells become so strong and resistant, looks like a combination of poor nutrition and environment.

When a plant has adequate amounts of calcium available it allows the interstitial cell walls to no longer contain just water, instead it's filled with pectin. As you probably know pectin is the glue that holds cell walls together, and when there's pectin instead of water the potential nasty shit like powdery mildew literally can't take root. Mold spores land, tries to root, finds no water, and dies.

I'm really looking forwards to the turn around :tiphat:

i know 2 things about people like us :

one, i know the ingenuity of the "pot grower" is endlessly creative & adaptive.

cant remember where, but i love this photo of a guy who dug out a basement and you see the tent in a hole under the floorboards. love that creative shit !

and two, a determined nugLifer gonna get those jars full of frosty goodness. yezzir. emphasis on "goodness".

on my love of the mother tent, wifey should accept you keeping mothers at your current spot until everything is good to go.

^ from a dude divorced over "i thought you kept a car in (the 2 car garage) here" type shit ;-)

for even talking about it w/ her family...
i left her.
and.
i still grow mad dank.

I second the nuclear option. I would treat everything as suspect and replace/disinfect everything. It sounds like you know how to deal with it, so it's just a matter of elbow grease at this point! I bet by this time next week you will have it looking like a newly minted grow room

Two things I've learned about women:
1. Honest communication is everything, without that you are in big trouble.
2. Good women are hard to find, and even harder to get rid of!
All jokes aside I wish you the best with mending things between you and the other half. Tend to her like you tend to your plants and you can't lose.
