Nice garden you got going.
When my wife and I moved out to our current house in the country we had our neighbor, the farmer, plow us up a plot for a veggie garden.
He asked how big and my said like a 100’ x 100’. He laughed and said okay, and laughed a little more.
I think we spent all summer pulling weeds in that damn plot.

Before I got hip to ground cover…I could never get ahead from pulling weeds…no sooner I think I’m making headway I look around and there’s shitloads of pullin’ weeds again…still managed to harvest veggies every year…just not as bountiful

I use the clover mix from build-a-soil in my veggy garden. Keeps the weeds back.

Saturday night! Looking forward to a cold beer and some tunes !

Actually that first year we did have an incredible harvest as the spot we had turned had been growing alfalfa for years prior so the soil health was on point.
We are now in raised beds and enjoy smaller bounties but still just as enjoyable.

This hen bird decided to hangout in our side yard for about a half hour today...she kept trying to get into the puckerbrush but kept retreating because of the steep decent...finally found a path she could stroll down

Some more new varieties I can put in my outdoor grow...that will give me a dozen new plants...gonna try to get some cuttings off of the new 12 later this summer b4 flowering and clone them up...if I can manage to get them all going plus the bakers dozen already in the stable...I'll have 25 varieties...looks like I'll have to make more room in the nursery

Yeah a hen Turkey…no red head or beard
LOL, as you can tell I am more city than country. I figured you were right just based on your property. I thought chicken when I saw you say hen but it looks like a turkey 😁. Love your outdoor garden, the inside one is nice too :plant grow:
