The Cottonwood are ridiculous this year. I feel tarred and feathered after spending the day in the garden. My allergies really love cottonwood and the hay everyone is cutting down currently.

I have a few hundred of the big tomatos planted. Taking a break from the heat and back to work.

Your buds and garlic are looking great!

When Chunky stopped by for a visit last Thursday he took a peek at my grow…outside of liking it very much he made a suggestion that I should do a little defoliating above the scrog…just to clean out a lot of the leaves that are shading out the lower buds and also giving the girls some more breathing room…and to keep the pm at bay

I wish i could keep bees like you 😁. Not that my opinion matters but, I concur on thinning leaves for better light penatration, and air flow in the plants help keep pm at bay. He wasn't to happy with the purple striping I had on my plants, lol gotta love coco. It's a calcium issue that I have since fixed with ph as my pen has been funky this year. Think it's time for a new probe as mine is @6 years old and has to be calibrated every 3 days.

I don’t keep bees well at all…last year my hives didn’t do good at all as a matter of fact I didn’t have any at all and the year before they all died in the cold late winter…My buddy and I have been buying bees…they call em nucs which is a five frame hive with a queen bee plus a few queen cells…yeah those ph pens are sensitive…the least bit of knocking them around and they fuck up and ya need to keep the probe moist with storage solution…they sometimes don’t wanna calibrate at all when they get old

Here is a lazy kitty.. one of a bunch of feral cats in the neighborhood...next door neighbor to the south has quite a few living under her mobile home...then there's a horse farm to my north and an Amish farm to my southwest that keeps them all busy...haven't had to worry about rodents in quite awhile...which is a good thing

Would love a few outdoor cats for the rodents but they tend to be killed and eaten by other animals. Just lost a couple wild rabbits a few days ago, intestines everywhere.

Is that defoliating at day 21 and 42 of flowering?? When I got GG4 I was told to remove everything under SCROG slowly for 3 weeks after flip. Heard that defoliating opens up spots that can get infected with botrytis. Loved GG4 for its mold resistance.
I usually do a small amount of defoliating the week before I flower. And then a really heavy defoliation on day 21…along with staking. On day 42 I just take some fans that are blocking colas.

I got these idk what some kind of onion I guess..they pop up every year they grow small clusters of onions out the top... Any idea what kind drums?

Let some of those flowers open fully to see what the head looks like. It looks more like a perennial or Walking onion.

Wild yard onions.
