Question, do you have a good method for getting ceilings to grow bacon quick inside a lil beer cups. I have 5 ceedlings and they're growing slow as Christmas comes around.
Hey - Thanks for checking out my corner of the site! I'm far from an expert in this area, but one key is to make sure there is adequate drainage. Do you have holes in the bottom of your cups?

I'm not using them to grow through the whole life cycle; just through the seedling stage. There are a couple of threads about growing in solo cups that might help, such as the one here. Hopefully that helps.

Gee willikers, Batman! Our block had a couple of transformers explode Wednesday and we lost power for 8 hours. Not great for the plants. I then forgot to reset the manual timer for my light in the veg compartment until today. The plants have got to be pretty confused about their wake/sleep schedule. Hopefully they recover alright.

I'm continuing LST on the MN Tangie and hope to grab a clone soon. I began prepping a 1 gallon container for the Blueberry, which is getting close to being ready to transplant.

Double serration on the GG #4:

And my first clone definitely is growing!

Here's it on the 14th:

And it today:

Banishment has begun. A 3-gallon pot looked at me the wrong way and has been relegated to sit by itself in the flowering compartment in the dark and think about what it's done:

This made room for another 1 gallon pot, as I'm getting near to having to transplant a couple of plants. You can also see the LST I continued today on the GG #4 in the front right. Here's what it looks like in the veg area:

The MN Tangie got to the point where I can take a clone:

And here's the mother after getting decapitated:

I'll be watering containers with molasses water later today, save for the MN Tangie mom, who got it a couple of days ago.

Had my first (unintentional) supercrop today with the MN Tangie:

Think it'll be alright?

Moved all the 3 gallon containers to the flowering area, where I've got it set for vegging. Can you spot the sad GG #4 clone?

Here's the rearranged main vegging area. I've continued training the GG #4 mom, which you can see in the back left. I also transplanted the Panama, which is middle left:

I've let this guy continue to grow in the GG #4 mother's pot:

Any idea what it is?

3rd day in a row with an update?!

I topped the Panama and Blueberry F5 mothers today, partially cutting one of the Blueberry's fan leaves in the process.

Panama:

Blueberry F5:

Taking those tops, I made some small clones. I forgot to dip the Blueberry F5 in the cloning solution, so ended up dumping some of the powder into the hole where I put the clone. Hopefully they take root. The outer of the 2 cups for the clones had some drainage water sitting in them that smelled foul, which I dumped. I hope that that bad smell doesn't translate to something in the medium itself.

I transplanted the MN Tangie clone into its final container and moved it into the flowering compartment. As a reminder, I'm continuing to veg in my flowering area, as I'm so low on space in the vegging room.

Flowering space being used to continue vegging. GG #4 clone on left and MN Tangie clone on right:

And here's the main vegging area, with the 4 mother plants and 2 clones:

Thus far my clones initially haven't looked to happy initially in their party cups. I'm wondering if it is because of their initial size. My GG #4 clone that I transplanted is ultimately looking pretty happy now, but was a bit pitiful in its party cup.

Have a good rest of the weekend, all!

I know that - by definition - in working with living soil, I'm cultivating beneficial fungi and bacteria. Nevertheless, I'm a noob and want to make sure everything is good. I'm seeing this growth in my GG #4 mother's pot:

Anything to be worried about? Thanks in advance for the advice!

I also began LSTing the Panama mother today.

Yes! See the powdery mildew on the lower leaf? Bad news bears....

Get that knocked back with some peroxide and cover that stuff with a fresh layer of soil in the meantime.

Check your humidity and turn up the circulation airflow AFTER you reduce the possibility of spreading spores.

Oh noooooooo. Okay. I just removed that branch , as it was super close to the soil. I think I've been hitting it when watering. It's kind of hard for me to see this stuff, as I'm wearing green-tinted protective glasses!

I defoliated the plant as well as the MN Tangie a bit to open up the centers for watering. I also added more media to the GG #4 and will hopefully have time to whip up a batch of watered-down hydrogen peroxide later today. Do I spray that on the media itself, too? Or just the plants? Should I spray all the plants, just in case?

Here's the GG #4 mother after I defoliated a bit, but before adding more media. See anything problematic?

Humidity is at 56% and temp. is at 77.9 F.

I'm thinking I should also probably scrub everything down. Thoughts?

Thanks so much for the help!
