This is exactly what my G-13 cut I was given back in 94 looked like and I have not found anything that is like this for the past 5 years Ive been hunting through seeds and taking with people and I haven't found anything like it. I found this pic and it was labeled "Mota's G" but I asked him about it and head nothing to he could tell me. Which makes no sense but whatever...

I spent the $200 on DRGT and even talked to him on the phone. And I only popped one out of the two seeds he sent me. And after several runs. It was junk. Hemp quality I could not give the shit way.

This is G13 as I remember her.

Huge yields of amazing flowers that would knock down anyone who smoked her period. Sweet Pure Hash smell. Deadly potency and never any tolerance.

I searched the net for years and this picture is the best representation I could find. I had pics of her but they were Polaroid's and I do not on have them. They were thrown out years ago.

Now I do not know if she was this Hash plant hybrid your talking about. But all I know is she was called G-13 when she was gifted to me and everyone referred to her as the "G"

i remember seeing a g13 grow thread years back, and what you have in the pics is exactly what he had sept plants were huge. football size buds. i,m with you every cross i,ve had with it is dud. i see g13 now move right along

Here's a few pics of Doc Greenthumbs Iranian x Haze . These are in a GH without a top . You can smell them a 100 feet away . I just tried a sample and she's a two hitter quitter . Doc GT claims they finish by the second week of Sep but mine have at least two weeks to go . We did have some really cool weather in the spring so its a possibility that they were set back from the temps . She's a nice strain highly recommended .

By the way I grew his Ghost S1 some years back its very good . I have also had a cut of it and its spot on . Enjoy !

It is very bad for your rep to post that you grew something that you did not.
you are way off on some of your dates and post information that i have no idea where it came from. i have never heard about nevil selfing g13.
i spoke with both nevil and jim ortega privately while they were at mns.

if what you grew was g13 x hashplant, then you did not grow g13.
100 grams at 100 days is not a heavy yeild, just average.

i posted pics in a thread about the g13, you should be able to find them or maybe one day i will try to dig some up and post them here.

anyone have pics of g13 that turned out like hemp?
i would think you would be eager to post them.
as i said, i do have some nice pics of what was given to me by jim as g13.
the pic i use as my avatar usually, is a nice colored leaf from one of those g13s.

I experienced something interesting... so I grow Doc's Iranian crosses next to dinafem's OG Kush and the buds are very very similar.

so the OG Kush is Iranian originally? or the OG Kush is afghan!?

Everything I posted is absolutely correct so please be specific with my "inaccuracies" and I'll do my best to show proof of my claims.....I have access to the original seed catalog from Nevil and can basically prove what I've stated is correct. I did go back in a later post and correct what mistakes I admitted to, but all my info now is absolutely on the mark....

Just for furthering the discussion, here is the correct dates and strain info for those who care pulled from another site:

"Also, The Seed Bank's 1989 Catalog sold G-13 x Hash Plant and G-13 x Northern Lights #2. The catalog says:

G-13 is an outstanding pure Indica cutting reputedly discovered by the government research program in Mississippi. Widely grown as a commercial indoor plant in the US, G-13 has proven to be one of the best breeding plants in our collection

The G-13 pure, 55 - 60 day sativa (sic), doesn't exist in male form any longer. The last pure G-13 seeds were offered in 1988 by Nevil's old bank. A description from an old catalog would be nice, but I don't have one, but someone out there will. Sensi's version is a female propagated by cuttings for the last 10 years, the sativa female was pollinated by the stout afghan HASH PLANT male, and that is the current Sensi offering."


I can send the above link for those who care but the above is absolutely accurate. So in 1988, Nevil offered the straight G13 and starting in 1989, he only offered G13 X Hash Plant. Anyone thinking otherwise is absolutely incorrect and I have the seed catalogs to prove it.

And, I could give 2 shits about my reputatiuon. As you can see, I've been a member here since 2007 and you my friend are a relative newcomer. Since I've been growing and making my living this way for many, many years- I'd gladly put up my skills and knowledge against yours any day of the week.

I grew indoors the "original" G13- actually it was labeled a hybrid of G13 X Hash Plant back in 1981-1982 from The Seed Bank, Nevils seed company many years ago. I think Dr. GreenThumb's looks pretty similar, although it's definitely not as potent but the yield is still there. I still have friends that talk about the strain as it was something special back then. A few friends still think it was some of the best around.........me, I just loved the incredible yields. Nevil's Northern Light hybrids were my favorite smoke back then.

all i can do is relate my experience with the plants ive grown.

these are the old pics of the sativa pheno g13 S1.

as you can see, they were far from hemp.
i liked to give this one 75-77 days.

the stockier pheno was a little faster with denser buds,
more of a hashplant character i would say.

so out of the 3 seeds, i had two of the hashplant pheno's and the "sativa" pheno.

all 3 were great plants and hard to choose between them.

Ya this isn't making sense to me. g13 is an indica no such thing as a sativa. it looks more like g13 x haze if anything. But then you got a hashplant pheno. Sorry not trying to be mean or anything. Just trying to make sense of what you got going on here.

they were the g13 s1 sent to me by jim ortega.

i just call it sativa pheno and hashplant pheno, does not mean they have anything to do with sativa and hashplant.

females can be reversed and pollinate other females, hence the f2 of the s1s.
