Hello Scrogerman, I'm new around here and your scrog looks very nice and you sound like you know what your doing. I hope you dont mind if I ask you a few questions.
This is my second grow, its a reveg of my first grow. I am doing a scrog/bog type grow inside my new stealth dresser I made. I havent had to top anything because of the way the reveg is growing. I dont have that one main stem, just a shit load of new shoots that I have been doing LST on to keep it a low bush with alot of tops. My square foot is about 3.25ft. How many cola's/tops would you look to get from that square foot with just one plant?
I also plan on removeing the undergrowth and the auxillary shoots that dont make it to the canopy and get my clones from there when I flip the switch. I know the fan leaves store food and whatnot for the plant so when I cut all that out will that hurt the plant? Can I do it all at once or should all that cutting be done before going into flower?
Oh, and do I really need a net for the tops or can I just keep bending/LSTing the shoots to isolate the tops and then just flip the switch when I'm ready to roll?
I'd be greatfull for whatever advise you can give me.

Hey Sick,
I sugest you LST, you could also use a Screen for ScrOG. There's plenty of Micro & nano growers here on IC & i sugest you go ask one of them as they are more experienced with them types of grows, I do like the Box, of, Green style grows too as they make space in Scrog much more efficient. Everything is scaled down in such a micro grow, so i cant really give you an accurate opinion as ive never done a micro grow & it wouldent be fair`really.
I can say with removing leaves, its better to do it in stages to minimise stress, you know take half the plants foliage all at once & its bound to cause more stress than if you remove a handfull at a time. I remove everything from under the screen upto 21 days into bloom, i dont bother after that time as i dont want to be causing too much stress at that time, when the plants are coming into full Bloom. Alot of growers remove leaves right through bloom and i see them get no probs, but i dont condone this at all, i think it should of all been done, like i said by 21 days bloom. LST is fine, but i think you get much better height control with a screen , but that depends on the grower and their skill.
Back to the how many tops issue, you see everything is scaled down, Bonsai almost, so the figures i use wont work really for such a grow, well they do & they dont, evertything is scaled down. The plants & buds are smaller, but then again it all depends what you want, you could have up to 10 bigger tops in a small cab or you could have 50 smaller tops, which will produce smaller buds, it all depends what you want i supose. Either way it will work, but im not really the guy to ask as ive never done a micro dude, i'm going to though,soon.
There is a PC growers club, A Fridge Growers Club & more, so get into them people dude. Oh & look into using PL'L lights, they are a bit like CF'ls but better. Hope ive been of some help to you. If you need any general advice though just PM me dude ok.

Hey Scroger, I took a good look at the canopy today and decided the main tops did need pulling down, well pulling down and cutting bits of the mesh to achieve better distribution of tops, I see what you mean about the heads already poking through that will be future colas?budz. I pulled most of the big tops down in one of the 3 trays just by a couple of inches without pulling any bud sites below the mesh, and now there are a lot more tops getting the light. My head count isn`t that even but in areas I have like 20per sqr foot, but other areas have fewer. 2 more tray to do, should get em done tmro. Your advice will reap rewards for me here I`m sure, Thanks again dude!

If i could of been there every day, i wonder what could have been, ok the Cola's are gonna be MONSTERS imo, probably the biggest ive seen in a ScrOG, just a day past wk 6, another 3-4 wks to go imo, PK is in 2/3 strength, next wk we'll lower the nute mix (A+B) a little a give full dose, One last time for the PK. Them tops are getting fat. just wish i could of been there when they needed me! We have taken the Dominant Gene's as cuts, spread them out to a few buddies, got access which is nice, dont have to keep any myself.! 'Here's the Pics':

I'm doing my first scrog set-up right now and was planing on starting a thread. My two plants are at day 5 of flowering and I really need some advice on how much to prune out of the plants. WOW is all that i can say....those are crazy lookin scroger, Maybe its that secret mixing the mad scientist was doing while u were out lol, well prolly not! anyways, just wanted to say...looking great. I cant wait to see those finish up! I hope mine turn out half that size lol, keep up the awesome work bro.

Skunk my friend - Thanks bro, i doubt my bro has influence here as it's my feeding programme the plants have been on, the issues were to do with Not adding the boost at the right times, after disscussion with him, i believe he did put the stuff in, it was in a different coloured container and looked like it hadnt been put in! thats all! problem solved! 3wks and its party time bro!-i hope!

Yo Scroger, I`m sure you coulda done a little better with your spacing and pulling them back, but they look really good, and I reckon you`ll be patting yer man on the back at the end of the grow for the good work he has put in. . . . . if not, you could always club him to death with one of the monster colas you`re gonna have there, lol.

Skunk,Fatigues, yeah i'm pretty impressed with that Trunk myself, The Buds on that plant aint that well developed compared to some others, but i know whats coming now, i think. Got some heat stress problems going on! Temps range 75-82f & that is seeming a little too warm for them, i'm working on that one now. By the way they had 6-7 weeks veg, that would make them 95-100 days give or take, approx.

I tried to expose a few , but its too late. managed to save some though and they should come. No my Bro has done great, im just a fuckin perfectionist, well i try to be. OCD. well thats what my bro says. Hey its looking like i'll be needing a fukin chainsaw if they keep it up.lol.

Sorry if you`ve mentioned it here somewhere, but what`s your views on the schedule for PK13/14?
I know Canna`s advice is for 1 week, 3 weeks before harvest, but I think things have changed there, but I cant find any solid recommendations. I`ve only used it inh the way mentioned above.

Yeah the PK issue, well people say this and that, ive heard start wk 2, lol-too early imo, then as the makers Canna say plants dont need the stuff for longer than 10 days as it gets stored etc, they condone the use for 1 week but i always use it for 14-21 days, wk 1-low dose wk 2 medium dose wk 3 full dose, 5,10,15 mls respectively, Thats per 10 litres!, always works a treat for me, may not for others with different nutes though,I do decrease the A+B ferts as i raise the PK value. I give a decent flush so i m not concearned about build-up, my buds taste just fine, lovely infact, Oh and i flush my rockwool every 2 wks without fail too!. I say give them the ratio of food when they need it most Wks 4-5 to 6-8, when they are packing on all their Bulk/Mass, i dont like doing anything that takes over 10 wks, its too long for my liking. Although there are alot of strains i'd like to do that take over 10wks to finish, fk'em, i cant go without sleep too long lol. All id say is if you use my method, watch your A+B ferts and reduce, only slightly as you increase the PK value & give a good 10-14 day flush at the end!, i'll PM the exact ratio's if you like buddy!. I found my way best through trail & error.

If any one has a link to that paticular info id appreciate it, thanks! Also i'd just like to say that Canna Boost Accelerator is the Bomb, you wanna see how sticky these mothers are, its unreal & the smell,no words! I believe the stuff is a major contributor to these attributes! Canna B/A + PK 13/14 = Partytime!
