good good to have a backup timer... mines digital but its FAST. its something like 20seconds faster every day.... over 7 weeks flower thats about 20mins .

Congrats on the 12/12 switch im sure they will double in height in the next two weeks. I would suggest a 1/2 cup per gal FF Big Bloom once on your next water I alwys do it that way plants seem to love it Just the big dose once to get em into flowering state of mind lol

They're on 1ml/litre Bio-Grow and 2ml/litre Bio-Bloom. Since they showed some P/K deficiency in veg, they've been getting 1ml/bloom for the past 3-4 weeks, just upping it slowly to around 4ml/litre in the 4th/5th week of flowering.

I'm noticing them getting bigger and its only been 2 days also the stink has increased, what was a nice light citrus sort of smell now has a definate skunky tinge to it

yes i noticed there is more smell after a few days or so of flower.... but only if you look for it. its not noticable. if i do trimming then the room gets a bit whiffy.....

thanks man! i'll post an update in a couple of days, its pretty crazy how I dont notice much change in size but when I look at the pics on this thread which were posted less than a week ago the difference is huge! puts it into perspective

oh definitely.... i noticed that today, i looked at a pic 4 days or so old and the difference is huge. its good to keep a continuous update of pics so you can see the difference yourself, from day to day you dont notice it.

Update! At day 7 of flower:
















Its looking a bit messy in there but i'm just waiting for a few shoots to stretch another half inch or so to get them to tuck under to the next hole every day I spend 5-10 minutes relocating shoots into what I think are better places and trying to create spaces for the ones underneith to receive some light. Last night I counted around 14 viable budsites per plant and I imagine that'll rise over the next week. Any sort of handling leaves me with very citrusy skunky smelling fingers! they smell absolutely amazing, and I love knowing it can only get better (stinkier )


They're dropping some of the lower foliage but I figure thats ok, its all stuff in the shade - all the stuff above the canopy looks great, nice lush green and the tops are fluorescant green to almost white in the very centre - no pistils yet though!

Thanks guys, the stretch most certainly is on... those outer screens are filling out fast, I think the centre one is only going to see shoots on its edges though, but i've got 2 of the fastest, largest shoots on each plant growing towards it though so maybe it'll fill out a bit more in the next week.




Since i'm single this is maybe the best view i'll be seeing from my bed for a good while

Planning out the next grow already, once again will probably be from feminised seed since its just easier for me. You can see how much extra space I have to play with, I do like the stocky compact bushyness of my current plants but I could certainly grow something a bit taller - i'm not sure that'd be the best idea with the small wattage hps's though.

I might try something akin to NG2ks grow, high number of scrogged small(ish) plants, maybe six (2 rows of 3). I'd love to work with clones and set up something perpetual but it just means i'd need to buy/construct another box and i'm not sure I have the time or money right now! I have considered getting another one of these boxes with a 250watt HPS though and converting the current one into a veg box once this grow is over... something to consider anyway, i've got most of the equipment I need for venting/odour control already.


Anyway I cant sleep so i'm ranting but thanks for following the thread guys, its good to know someone else is watching

Hello all, day 15 update.


Lots of pics in no particular order. You can see i've got a bit of yellowing, I think this is a result of me slightly reducing the amount of grow ferts I was giving them (I realised I was feeding them about 2ml/litre by mistake so I took it down to 1ml/litre and now im seeing this yellowing, so i'll try taking it up to ~1.5ml/litre this next watering). Other than that everything seems to be going well, they look pretty healthy and are pushing out pistils and getting fatter by the day. The stink is increased a lot, as is to be expected, when I took them out to do a bit of trimming under the canopy and get some pics without the HPS I was pretty amazed by how much they smell.

hey man looking just brill . trimming always kicks up a stink even in veg!!!! are you sticking to the official bio-bizz schedule? i dont as its a bit weak for my plants as they are quite mature....(mother was 6 months old). i wouldnt take the biogrow too high as there hormones are starting to change now but keep up the good work.

Yeah sticking to schedule... mostly I'm giving them around 2ml/litre of bloom and 1ml/litre of grow now... ok so well i'm not sticking to it at all but it seems to be working. I just noticed that yellowing since I realised I was giving them closer to 2ml/litre of grow and figured I should drop it... i'll try 1.5ml/litre (if I can even measure .5ml) and see how that goes.

I'll up the bloom to 3ml/litre next monday (3 weeks flowering).

have you not got a syringe man? get a syringe with a bottle neck size adjuster.... from any pharmacy £1 at the most... my one fits into all bio-bizz bottles and is so useful.
at the moment im at day 23 and using 1mlBG 3.5mlBB 1.5mlTM (thats from memory could be out a half ml)

mate the yellowing would be better if u gave them 4ml of biogrow. but that would just make flowering longer for u. is it only under the canopy that the leaves are yellow?

yeh pretty much any pharmacy should have one. see if u can get a 5ml one that would be best
