Stick around for a bit. Post some pics. I generally accept friend requests from guys who show they are committed to the plant and have a passion for it. Not saying you don't, I guess I just need to know your "real" , or have alterior motives. Nothing against you, just the paranoia in me runs strong.

Oh no I don't blame ya and I get it. Used be active on other forums when I started growing about 8 years ago or so. Just didn't know if it was a tech problem or on purpose as I could see pics in other threads.

I'll be around and posting soon, setting up my room tonight for first grow in a long time.

Guessing, strawberry cough x pnw dogshit.

Congratulations on getting your beans out there for the masses.

Man, i just did some trading for some strawberry cough buds.
Nothing amazing on smell or visual, the high though is amazing. Super upbeat , kind of get a floating feeling with motivation. Got to take a gander at those strawberry dogshit beans.
Saw em on seedbay a good while back and tried to order some but that place is confusing and I gave up

I'm still here and kicking. But...right from one problem to another, lol. Having a spider mite outbreak in my flower section. Which the month of 90f temps helped them fuckers to build a population. Then being out of work for the summer, money to fight them was extremely limited.

Taking down a crop tonight. Then cleaning with 91% iso and bleach. Then to the store to get some no pest strips. I had a few already, but not enough. The spots where I put the strips are clear of mites. But above and far below the strips the mites are still going strong. So hopefully a combo of cleaning, and no pest strips with the exhaust fan off will take care of them.

Won't be the first time battling them. Prolly won't be the last. I'll beat them, and in a bit it will be like I never had them.

You might want to look into ozone generators. I picked one up for $85 CAD, thats like 60 USD, I used it to disinfect PM spores, at this point I don't know if it worked yet, but the research says it kills everything living. Main thing is to run it for only 10 mins without venting room, and wait an hour before you go in again. After 45 mins it starts breaking down in the air and it is safe. Do research. It might kill all mites in 15 mins, and is easy to run for 10 mins once or twice a week for general disinfecting/cleaning of growroom. I just like that since its in the air it gets 100% coverage and efficiency with no labour required. Versus trying to wash walls, floors, equipment, spray/ dunk plants etc...

Ozone isn't going to kill mites. Been running them for years.

The use of a generator is not going to abet out of control variables, for example things like excessive humidity, dialy massive temp swings, or plants with existing egregious PM infection. You must know that PM is inside the plant not just on the surface. Mold, or fungus, life cycle is opposite of what you might think. When you start to see PM you're immediately forced into more than a preventative mode of action. IMO, a little PM is an indication you need to manage your space, quit taking cuts from your boys, and do more than flip on the ozone generator for 10 minutes... before you know it you'll have to trash mad flowers.

For mites, which I've only had from trading with liars who sold me on fake genetics from a dirty garden, which is the ultimate grower's sin by the way... Mighty Wash, Neem, Pyrethrin, and insecticide soap rotating between any three you like every two days. Can't relax the schedule either. I do the rotation using the soap like a leaf wash on the daily. Mighty wash is the shizz and brings death quickly. Neem and pyrethrin make the mite life cycle difficult to maintain. You should be using neem on a regular basis anyway (not after weeks 2/3 in flower) as it's acts like a more efficient antifeedant as well as a sexy leaf shine.

Ozone generators are dangrous for, many reasons. Plants and you (look,it up before, you use ) . and they are not efgevtive in a lot of the ways advertised. Just my opinion:tiphat:.

Sorry to hear of your troubles.

Do you have an aversion to Aza products?

A combination of Aza, pyrethrins & hort oils eliminated the borg for me. I've not seen them in over 6 years now and I grow in the middle of big agriculture.

I just read Useless reply...
My last stand against the borg was similarly fought. Every 3 days, without fail, never the same product twice in a row (except the soap to emulsify the oils), I went for 5 or 6 cycles instead of the recommended 3 for Azatrol.

I've not use the Aza since. Neem meal in the soil mix is a good preventative, as long as you're not aza sensitive.
