I have some Azamax guys. Plus a pyretherin spray(also has sulfur in it) . Plus the insecticidal soap that has potassium salts of fatyy acids(dissolves eggs) . So thanks for all the suggestions/help. Gonna use everything in my arsenal to get rid of them.

If you're battling spider mites, I highly suggest Flying Skull's Nuke 'Em. Mix for the strong application rate. It's OMRI rated organic and they say completely food safe. I've used it before and it's kinda fucked up how it devastates spider mites, they die and their bodies turn orange. They say it kills eggs too, and they do turn orange like the mites, but I still think multiple applications are necessary, and they include multiple applications in their instructions. Just spray every 2-3 days for a week and two and you should be good. SNS 217 is good too, but I don't think it's as effective as Nuke 'Em, but makes for a good spray to switch out with the Nuke 'Em so you have a multifaceted approach. They say both are safe to use up to harvest, but I don't know if I believe that. I keep some Nuke 'Em around all the time just in case the fuckers somehow sneak in so I can apply before going and grabbing something else to back it up. Mighty Wash is good too, but I think it can sometimes adversely effect plants, especially if it's left real thick on a plant. Just give those thorough, multiple applications, 100% coverage, and you'll be good.

Also, if you live near your grow space, don't use the No Pest strips, they're not meant for living things to breath and cause damage to the human nervous system (if I recall correctly), plus I think they have mixed reviews for specifically targeting spider mites.

Super random side question: I saw you mention that you had the OGKB cut and the OGKB 2.0 cut - how do they compare? Do they taste drastically different? Different highs?

Best of luck man, hopefully they'll be all gone soon. But def check out Nuke 'Em, and def mix for the strong application, and you'll be frying them suckers soon!

Thanks for the info man. The grow isn't in my house. So I can go H.A.M. with the no pest strips. As well as all the other stuff. This is just a temporary bump in the road.

The OGKB and the OGKB 2.0 are drastically different in almost every way. I think 2.0 is a much better plant. Grows way faster, makes larger flowers, and IMO is more potent. I will say though, they both are great for making seeds.

Any 2.0 hybrid I have made or grown has come out excellent. So far I have only grown one OGKB hybrid. But I do have a few seedlings going of OGKB x OG³, so we'll see shortly how the OGKB hybrid I made compares to the 2.0 hybrids I have made and a few I have grown made by others.

Good, no need to fuck yourself up when trying to battle pests.

With the OGKB vs 2.0 - do they taste very similar when smoking? Are the highs very similar? 2.0 is a really amazing plant, just curious how it compares to its parent cuz I've never smoked it

Not to me they don't. The OGKB is kinda bland imo. The 2.0 has flavor for days. Not similar at all in my book. High on the 2.0 is devestating. Cerebral and body high at the same time.

Wow, I'm pretty surprised. I would have assumed the OGKB was bursting with flavor too. Yeah 2.0 is absolutely amazing, I'm just surprised at how she seems to be better than some of the more sought after cookie cuts. Thanks for all the info DTOG! :tiphat:

Last mite battle I had. After initial neem on everything but flowers I released a bunch of predator mites all over my flower room. After manually removing any sign of mites. In veg I used azamax every 3 days and went to just few inch tall plants. Once I was confident mites were gone in veg I took the few remaing plants in flower that were still to immature to do anything with and sacrificed them. The predator mites did a good job. Not 100% by any means but good enough to finish up a few weeks worth and have clean cuts ready to move into a clean and empty flower room. Pain in the ass, yes. Spray anything on flowers. Nope.

Damn I feel for you guys having to do all that work for mites. Is there some aversion to using forbid? It's the single best miticide I've ever used. It's rare that I'll get a mite infestation nowadays but if I do that's my go to. One and done. All incoming cuts get treated with it and quarantined so I rarely end up having to use it in the garden. I don't even flinch at mites anymore. Hell I just got some new cuts last week that had them on there and didn't even care. Haven't given them a second thought until I read the last few posts here.

Only situation mites could be an issue with forbid is if they get into the flower room because even in they get treated right before they go in, it wears off about 1/2-3/4 of the way through so in a perpetual garden there's always at least a couple plants they can jump on and mangia mangia. In that case there's not much you can do. Either cull your flower room and start fresh or learn to live with them.

I have some Forbid. That will be a last ditch effort.

What kind of mites DTOG?

Two-spotted spider mites. I have actually seen the two spots on them on a few leaves I had under a scope at about 150x-200x. Couldn't even see them with my naked eye. Adults I can see with my naked eye no problem. But not the juvenile's.

Winter time is almost here, so that's gonna be a big help. Parts of my veg tents hover in the 50's - 60's all the time in the winter months. So that will greatly slow their propagation rate. Coupled with a solid IPM program, they should be wiped out with little struggle.

Fucking game on !! This is the Kosher Kush that I found from seed like 6-8 years ago. Became what would be the standard I judge all OG/OG hybrids against.

Here's what it can do outside in my area.

I pulled 10 oz.'s out of that 5 gal pail.

useless.gardens

I had a holy grail kush, kosher leaning, that I regretfully never cloned. Was some super dank, lip smacking, nuggets. Yield was great. Flowers were like jewelry. And, the bubble hash was mind numbing. Miss that plant for sure.

Your plant in the 5 gal is a beast.

Sexy pic bro.

Yeah man this kosher, when blasted I was getting back 7 grams per ounce. Only other's that gave those returns were Glue and Exodus Kush. The flowers were a hit with the locals. People asked for it by name. Then my grower buddies all wanted clones in the spring.

Fun Fact : older grower I've known for over 20 years. He's not good with names of weed. Says to me, "You gonna have any clones of that dill pickle weed this spring?' LMFAO!!!

I’ll have to catch up, but sounds like you’ve been dealing with ur own shite this summer! Mite shite! Did I mention, along with all the other crap I had to fend off recently, I was also almost destroyed with PM? In all my years doing this I’ve never had a single spore.. came in with the new cuts, and holy shit is it annoying. Finally got it figured out & beat back. Good luck with them dude, you’ll get ‘em.

Nice on the kosher u got back, I’m anxious to see how she is against the cut I got. Little worried my cut might have been a mix-up w/ Lucifer OG, cus she looks identical to the Lucifer OG cut right next to her lol. Or maybe it’s the other way around, cus this Lucy isn’t looking exactly like the one I used to run.. smell is close, both have a fresh sneakers rubber factory OG twang!

CDM I think I've probably got the same kosher cut as you halfway thru flower now and have been suspicious there was a mixup as well. The Lucy cut I ran has a very unique growth pattern and I had this kosher pegged as a mislabeled lucy ever since I got her. Will know for certain in a couple weeks.

Avid, forbid and floramite foliar. Haven't seen a mite in years. Hate the products but they do work. 45 day residual but treatment in veg almost guarantees no mites in flower. And by the time it's chop time it's out of the system
