You gonna take cuts, bloom it out, see what you like, grow out choice cuts, not go on vacation during critical grow stages.

I will always do both - grow and holidays :) I have recovered from that heavy weekend away and motivation has returned though.

I have chopped down c99#6, it grew a 10" distance between nodes in 4 days, the plant was only 10" when I went away! It had no side branching at all so it had to go as it became offensive to look at it. Anyway, the others are doing ok with good side branching now after the supercropping. I have been trimming to, managed to keep the height under control so far.. Both tents are day 4 flower.

Dragon Fruit still looking light bleached and underfed, so upped the feed for both tents to 2.5ml/l A&B, raised the lights some more. Also been trimming these, these are looking like my usual plants only a bit skinny as they competing, there is 12 of them still rammed in there

I have decided to take cuttings of them all, bit late as they just started flower but should be fine. First i done away with the old LED's i was trying, if you look at my first post you will see how weedy the seedlings were so these were no good.

And changed to these, 2x Sunblaster T5 with nanotech reflector, 17w 45cm long.

Cut a seedling tray to fit in my heated propagator, filled with coco, fed with Rhizo 4ml/l, and dipped in a bit of clonex.

In the mini 30x30x60cm homebox. I sprayed the dome after the picture.

You may notice I have only done 20 cuttings, so 8x C99 and 12x DF. Meaning I have took one cutting of each, I am not trying to be a hero here as I have never ever done this. But space is tight, so I will see how these do and probably have to reveg lol. I have wrote down in a notepad which is which to hehe..

I ended up buying them off fleabay, I think they are discontinued though, about $30 each, think amazon have them. These are the only T5 fittings I could find which fit in the micro homebox tent, they do a few different sizes

Updates. My clones arent the best looking in the world, but they have roots coming through and are alive. I have lost 2 so far, luckily they both have turned out to be males. These have no air movement and temperature has been 26-30degC in the micro tent so not ideal :D

Clone from another male

I dont like the seedling tray at all. I am going to transplant soon. They have been fed 1ml/l A&B and 4ml/l Rhizotonic.

Day 15 flower for the tents. I have got over my earlier issues. They have started showing preflowers, C99 I have found no males yet though. I have chopped 5 males out the Dragon Fruit, some I have my eye on, so next few days I will know what I have left. Some pictures just before lights on with my bad phone flash:

C99 - ok stretch so far, hopefully I have it under control now

Dragon fruit - coming along nicely

Day 21 flower. I am now down to 5 females of each strain. I have been feeding daily 2.5ml A&B 6.0ph @ 20degC. I have been defoliating also. Tonight they have been put under dual spec HPS. Some pictures before lights on.

C99

Dragon Fruit

The 10 females remaining have a clone each still alive, as I have only lost those 2 male clones so far. All clones were transplanted to party cups today

So all is going ok this far. doob

Looking good Sir, is it safe to say the stretch is over?

One does venture in to the unknown when using seeds and housing them in tents, you just never know what to expect from the stretch, has given me many sleepless nights.

I do enjoy tents, and find them an easy enough controlled environment.... "its just the head space"

Cuttings have rooted well my man....

All the best...

Thanks, yeah the stretch is over, even though they were not allowed to stretch by force, i was supercropping for 2 weeks where needed. These tents don't have a lot of room at all, but i manage (Edit: they are 60x60x140cm tents). Happy with how they have turned out considering, lots of plant material has been removed and broken as you will see in these pics. The clones done ok for my first go, they are loving it now after transplant. They are the next thing to worry about for me, as I have no where to put them other than this micro tent

Day 25 flower since 12/12. I have been feeding daily the last week 3ml/l A&B, ph 6.0ish @ 20degC. They have been slightly pale, i will add pk boost very soon.

C99 canopy. They started flowering slower than the other tent but really pulling ahead now.

C99 beneath, i have one small plant and 4 the same size nearly. You can see how much I have removed. These plants have taken a lot of "stick", pun intended lol, they look like bamboo

Dragon Fruit canopy

Dragon Fruit lower down, these arent as large, and were not topped only supercropped, not much side brancing. Again I have 4 similar plants and then 1 small one.

This is the tent these 10 clones need to live in until I have tent space. I have not wired up a fan, just the lights, a little hot box experiment but it has worked

Clones have responded well to transplant. Still not fed them again yet, tent has been 21-22degC

Doob its like a little pizza box warmer...i love it ! :)

haha yeah i never thought about that! It is a handy little tent for me

I hand feed daily, ph 6.0ish, 19-20degC. I only use Canna products, so coco out the bag and then ml/l of feed. It can be left bit longer between feeds, but soon as it starts to dry you get salt build ups and ph seems to drop too low for the plants to uptake all the required nutrients. Most people find watering more often gets much better results once rooted out, hydro style. Giving them fresh feed and oxygen is a good thing, and its very hard to over water coco, just go easy on seedlings and after transplants. Coco can be top fed, bottom fed, drip fed, recirc, waste, treated like soil, treated like full hydro. It is really worth looking into, I cant see myself ever using anything else, Coco is awesome

Update news is, I cut down a smaller Dragon Fruit a week ago, as it was so far behind in flowering. The DF have carried on stretching and stretching and are easily the tallest plants I have had :/ Full height of my tent now, so much for finishing stretching haha.

Day 33 flower. Been feeding 3ml/l A&B, half strength Canna PK13/14 ph6.0ish @ 20degC for the last week, I will do the same for another few days.

C99, 5 girls still in here, bit cramped but they looking good, nice and healthy

Dragon fruit down to 4, these girls also looking healthy, even with stretching into the light, which cannot go any higher.

Clones have been fed for a 3rd time, really trying to stun their growth as much as I can,, they still doing well

First time I've checked in for awhile and things have moved along nicely!

Got to tip my hat slightly drunk to you for gardening with such limiting factors:tiphat:
Peace

PS is never looked back since the day I turned to coco, its like its meant for cannabis

hey mate, thanks :) yeah things are moving along nicely other than the height issues, but as you can see in pics they still OK. I have only ever used Canna coco line, i wont use anything else as i rate it so much, so easy to use and results are awesome

Looking good man! Love seeing the frostiness so early? How many weeks? Either way they are all looking great. How's the headroom going? Think they're going to fit or what? I'm cutting it so close myself even after I told myself I wouldn't. Xheers on your grow it's looking good

Thanks for popping in mate :) They are on day 41 now, the picture was day 37. Headroom of the C99 is good, as it had my full attention after that crazy stretch. The Dragon Fruit has been sneaking up the whole time, and possibly stopped few days ago, but it has been a nightmare. I refused to super crop and decided to wing it has they been in full flower. 3 of them are at the top of the light hood, 1 on the right in this pic has lost its cola because it is at the base of the bulb. The other 2 on the left are ok.

I whipped these 2 out the hood to show you how high haha, left ones ok but one on right had it. You can see they are stupid tall for my tent now. All others are good height.
