Dankwolf I've got many other kinds I'd rather run So she doesn't get ran in full trays often but here was my last full tray of her I ran. About 2p from 23 foot n a half tall plants.

I like your style! How big were those when you flipped them? How long had they been out of the cloner before they went into flower?

I don't run her because when I first started running it I ran it so much I just got burnt out on it. The yield is great. The flavor is very sweet and hashy sometimes like grape koolaid, smells like sour Hawaiian Punch. No stretch, just goes right to bud. I usually put them in around a foot and they end up around 18 inches. Roots around 10 days. It's very consistent

Sturgeon you are slaying it with those 2.0! But then again seeing what you normally do I'm not surprised! I saw you have a test run with cmh going, I don't know if you have time to swing it, but throw a 2.0 in there if you can, I noticed a different flavor in smoking compared to my harvests in hps, there was a lime/ogk flavor after the sweet grapeness that came out more under cmh versus hps.

Robney those aren't 2.0 in the pics above( sorry chunky not trying to derail,I swear). I just got my hands on the 2.0 a couple weeks ago but I hope to get it rolling asap. I do have a tray of glue and a nice forum u der the cmh though.

Had me fooled, seen your trays and you're always killin it. Def throw some 2.0 under the cmh after those trays, she does really well under them.

That forum looks awesome, gets me hyped to try out forum under the cmh

Bought a Gavita SE 600 back over the summer and ran a trial room with one OGKB 2.0 and an OG Cookie Haze cut. The OGKB 2.0 was just a twig about 18" tall when I threw it in but over 60 days it grew up into a perfect beast.
Really happy with how this came out under this lamp. Only ran the 2 plants in a 4x5 space and had plenty of extra room. Still, have a few good ones I cut a few weeks back I still need to trim but I'll probably take this down sooner than later, sometime next week. Calyx to leaf ratio is perfect on this one. So the lamp is staying.:)

This branch is way down low shaded by the rest of the plant and a good 4' below the bulb. Very impressed with how this lamp performed compared to say, 2 regular HPS 600's.

I'm glad you are having great results with the 2.0! Makes me feel better after getting so much fire spread my way from you over the years.

Did you mean DE Gavita 600, the flex one? Mine throws 1000 watts worth of single ended light and then some, after I replaced the HPS stock bulb with the 630 watt CMH 4000K spectrum bulb it is really rocking my space!

OGKB 2.0 @ 65 days...usually let her go to 70. One of these days I’m gonna have to let her go a week or so longer to see any difference.

Chunky, how long do you let her go indoors?

I take her until I see some bud rot on a tip usually 10-1/2 weeks.

That looks good though, what kind of light is on that 2.0?

I'm pretty sure it's an SE(Single-ended) 600. The DE bulbs are too much for my low ceilings but I haven't run every lamp out there and this is my first attempt to switch to anything but regular HPS and T5 racks. I have 315 cmh lamps in my veg though. Being so used to running HPS, it's hard for my head and hard for my wallet to make big changes.

She’s under a 1000w se hortilux. Running temps between 65F-76F. Been thinking about switching to 630 cmh but don’t wanna lose any yield. I’ve been getting 8+ zips outta my 5 gallons....4 plants per light.

Vanilla how long of a veg in those 5 gallons? Soil or coco?? I was thinking of switching from my rockwools trays to 2gallon smartpots of coco

I use Happy Frog soil. I veg 6 weeks...2 weeks in solo cups, 2 weeks in one gallons, and 2 weeks in five gallons. Sometimes I veg the 2.0 an extra week in the 5 gallon since she is somewhat of a slower vegger compared to most.

I amend the soil in the 5 gallon container a little but not much. I feed using CalMag/PBP Soil at a rate of 5ml/15ml per gallon.

More accurately, I measure my ppm using the 700 scale like botanicare recommends. I use tap water that has a starting ppm of 110. I add CalMag in until I reach 410ppm. Then I add PBP in until I reach 1230ppm. I then add in Cyco pH Up until I reach a pH of 6.5. I let that sit overnight, and then add in Flying Skull’s Z7. After all is said and done, my pH is 6.5 and with the added pH Up, my final ppm is usually between 1260ppm-1310 ppm.

Probably more info than you wanted but there it is! :biglaugh:

You toss that soil every run or re use?

Does the z7 supplement microbes ? I was trying to read up on it but it says it's an enzyme cleansing agent....couldn't you reuse the soil as a living soil and not have to keep replenishing microbes??

It’s just enzymes. I use the z7 to help keep the res clean. When it’s empty, usually every 5 days or so, I just wipe it out good with paper towels and refill. I only clean it with bleach maybe every 3 months. Honestly, not sure if the z7 does anything. :dunno: I haven’t not used it since hooking up a res. It doesn’t take much and it doesn’t mess with the pH so I figure it couldn’t hurt.

I guess I could reuse the soil, but I’m lazy. Lol. Having to reamend, get the old roots out, and prey I never have any kinda pest problem. I’ve heard horror stories of ppl reusing mediums and they get some sorta problem, and the medium spreads it thru out all areas. After just recently having a dud issue, if I ever was thinking about possibly recycling, that thought is gone now.

Not saying recycling soil is a bad thing. I envy the guys who do it successfully. I’m just not as dedicated in that part of growing as those who do.

Just throwing it out there, I use Dark Energy for amino acids and SeaGreen for microbes in veg only. That combination is pretty killer. SeaGreen also helps with nutrient uptake and it just throws the nutrients and aminos up in the plant.
