Mother nature is ruthless, even the best of growers will get hit! What a tragic sight that must have been walking into that clearing! Youll get em next year chunky

so I'm smoking up outdoor already, ECSD, Sour Dubb, Corey and some 2.0 dry enough to fire and very fire!

my outdoor clone onlys got mostly moved inside a couple weeks ago and they are coming down a few every day.

Chem D, Forum, GMO all triggered late and still need a few weeks.

Forum outdoor is so different from indoor.

GMO is still outside with good mold resistance so far, triggered really late tho and needs a month.

I put seed plants out in waves this year, some went out so late hat they are behind normal flowering and those are most of what I have left.
the last flood got most of the mature seed plants.

a shot of one of my seed plots in some rare sun.

doesnt mind hps in flower.

Yo Waxy, have you tried running cmh? I recently converted my 400 watt hps to a 315 cmh and I think the ogkb 2.0 does better under it. To be honest, it tasted much closer to what Chunky burned me down on than my hps harvests, and I know Chunky ran MH when he did indoor stuff. Everyone says you gotta run cmh vertical and shit, but they makes these socket converters that allow you to put a 315 into whatever hood you already have and just run it off a 315 ballast. I tossed one in my air cooled hood and it's thoroughly outperformed the hps with fatter yields at lower temps and power consumption (hps with ballast was something like 423 watts, cmh with ballast is something like 342 watts). I bought the Prism conversion kit and I'm really happy with it.

Also check out this side by side

https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=352859

Dude did 4x1k hps vs 4x630 cmh in the same room, same strain, same nutes, and the cmh beat the hps. Kinda crazy

You gave your dad who doesn't smoke a joint of 2.0?!? I smoke what I consider a good amount and the 2.0 can overwhelm me if I roll it too fat! What happened to him?? Did he get lost in space?? :abduct:

Your correct, she does very well flowering under a more blue spectrum, but last crop came out my very best with her and she was abused in a 10gl pot of promix under a 2 year old horti with a magnetic ballast and El cheapo hood.

Which means! Shes just a fuckin badass winning plant who will chug under whateva, although I'd love to see her under ickys LEDs next time.

Issacks Coco thread is unreal, that guy is one hell of a grower in a real sweet spot in this world. Hope the eruptions stay away from him!

He handled it pretty well but one of his friends had to Uber home, said he was giggling by himself and couldn't walk straight lmao

Hahah I'm glad your pops enjoyed it! She is such a badass plant, such awesome smoke! You wanna see her under leds, ask and you shall receive! Here she is under a quantum led board

picture.php

She does very well under the quantum led boards, very similar to cmh

By the way those nuggets look soooooo good, you may say she was abused but those buds are straight shining! I know they're as tasty and potent as they look

Yeah the Leds really bring out the colors, my gg4 purpled up too and I hadn't really seen that before. You run cherry pie and 2.0? How do they compare??? High, taste, growth, etc...

Even when you are down,
You're not out.
Great job in the face of some testing conditions.

yeah, I figure I might be able to extract something from the worst of it...

we had a couple hours of sun today, after heavy rains and flood number 6???
lost count at this point, nothing got moved just some plants were soaked hard again, haven't had to water in weeks.

lots of interesting smells coming out in my seed plots today, it was great to burn freshly harvested gear and walk around in the sun rubbing my girls.

still have some fire coming into the fall, my bagseeds are taking a real licking this year but still smelling rank.

this was how my OGKB 2.0 looked when I pulled the tops a week ago.
lowers are still in good shape outside but I'm already smoking the tops.
been out for a long time, it's smelling good in here.

those one huge lady looks very promising, hope i got some great pheno,
like those guys with huge Scoutbreath that you showed previous in thread..

Look at that 2.0! Shit can survive anything and still put out fire and some nice sized nugs! We could probably colonize mars with a bunch of 2.0 clones

yeah there's some amazing phenos in there and some that are quite close to the OGKB 2.0 clone. never any complaints about strength of effects!

Damn that east coast chem scout looks dope, some rosin of that stuff sounds amazing, hope to try your new seeds

it's incredibly rank, I lost a bunch of them to the flood, I'm excited to smoke this one cause of the smell now.

I left an ounce or so of lowers out there on 2 OGKB 2.0 plants and so far they look good still.
the biggest colas were getting mold AND rot this year from the shit weather.

Today we had nice afternoon again and it was warm so I went out and smoked with the girls in the seed plot.
many of these small late plants are turning out really nice now and I was going around checking out smells while they were warm and dry.
picture.php

mostly these are forum and 2.0 crosses along with some of my releases from the past year.
picture.php

Chem Panties and Headband crosses got my nose attention today.
picture.php

Weirdo-si-dos and Python Boot are smelling dank and getting close.
picture.php

the quality of the smoke is really good compared to my Mass basement bud.
I've got 2.0, Headband, Corey, ECSD, Dubb and Sunset Sherbet dry enough to smoke and I'm finding this outdoor very satisfying to smoke.

some of these seed plants that are making golf balls and not stacking as hard as my clone onlys did are taking the wet condition well because they stretched well.
picture.php

I'm very happy with the variety and quality of the seeds I've made and grown this year, happy to have some nice flowers to share with those less fortunate.

my lungs are treated well again after a long period of rationing and lack of my favorites.

I picked the MendoBreath yesterday and it was very dank, it's 3 weeks since I brought in a bunch of clones from outside and the ones with the big colas were getting some rot.
forum and Chem D need time but '91 is ready to chop. Motorbreath gettting close with chem sis and more Corey.

many thanks to all the peeps who helped me with genetics this year!!!!

well 2018 OD is pretty much over, 6 immature seed plants left out along with 1 GMO lowers.
shit weather and frost headed this way everythings trimmed and hanging or sweating and I'm smoking all kinds of killer new dank.

it was my 1st time flowering the Blissful wizzard, Chem '91, Chem-sis, chem 4, and Chem D, MotorBreath, MendoBreath, Norcal Dosis, and Sunset Sherb.

they are all keepers for me except that I don't like the effects of the chem-sis.

I have my old faves the ECSD, Sour dubb, Corey , OGKB 2.0, Forum and Headband ready to roll and a whole shitload of my seed stock that will be dry soon!

floods beat me down but didn't knock me out and I'm very well medicated and relaxed after getting my crop in safe.

I wheelbarrowed out 3-400 gallons of soil and got it back with a trailer in totes to use for next years starts and my winter indoors.

I'm super stoked with the way my soil mix did outside as a water only.
as long as the plants were not root bound they did fine with nothing but some molasses in the last few weeks mixed with creek water.
most were so soaked from the floods that I didn't water much all summer.
the biggest plants got topdressed a few weeks into flower when they yellowed.

maybe the sourest plant I ever grew, East Coast Chem Scout. can't wait to smoke this gem.
picture.php

OGKB 2.0 lowers got taken yesterday, pulled the tops 2 weeks ago when they showed mold and I'm smoking them now, yay!
picture.php

so the last of the plants that I brought indoors got chopped and that whole experiment worked out pretty good, no bug infestations or anything.
picture.php

2 years ago I grew a huge ECSD and I found 2 seeds in her that I think were true S1's, one made it through the summer.
she wasn't very sour but can't wait to smoke some.
picture.php

the place I moved to from Mass is very sweet and I didn't land here this year until late June which was late for the seed starts but next year watch out.
passive and active dep in 2019, got my sites planned out.

I have space to safely grow 1000 plants in seclusion if I wanted to next year and plenty of water, maybe sun too if I'm lucky.

won't be putting as many near the stream though...

Fantastic all the way around bud! Nice job on the OD, and the stuff you moved in. Its great that you have space to spread out and grow all the lovely ladies you want.

Im guessing east coast chem scout is a cross of one of your seed plants to ecsd? Or is it just a cut of chem scout from east coast? It will be interesting to hear your smoke report on her to see how sour she smokes. Love me some sours. I just pulled down a ecsd, ecsd s1, D, and my friends original sour cut. Looking forward to smoking all of them!

What a nice lineup you got chunky. You will be smoking good meds for quite a while, and everyone whos lucky enough to run into ya will be happy people im sure, with your kind sharing spirit.:tiphat:
